My 90-minute assessment (which included extensive testing) left me with a feeling of hope. The follow-up appointment went just as well with Evan explaining in detail the workings of the inner ear and what causes tinnitus. VERY interesting. Evan came up with a couple options for me to pursue. He explained what the options entailed and even told us how much each selection would cost. I haven't yet decided which plan to go with, but I know Arizona Hearing Specialists will be with me every step of the way. I had a horrible allergy attack last Friday, I had to reschedule a monthly fitting, which takes about five minutes. I was told Dr Hutch is no longer seeing patients, though not by Dr Hutch. I was told I could come in that day, ( I couldn't breathe, why else would I cancel?) or later the following (this) week. I leave on Weds, so no appt. The receptionist was new and very nice, this was not her fault. I have been going to Tanque Verde Audiology for approx 10 years, (since before Dr Hutch bought the practice), I am so disappointed that now I have a referral to a new Audiologist. Maybe I'll get my Lyrics changed yet! I thought I had a great working relationship with Dr Hutch, maybe, but not much respect. I would also like to add, I was lied to, I have been seeing audiologists since I was six. I was told they no longer had a contract with Lyric, then I received an email telling me I can get a discount on Lyrics... after I am told there is no contract. I do not recommend Tanque Verde Audiology. My experience with them recently has been horrible.
