I came upon this place last year after several unsatisfactory experiences at different audiology places. I am so happy to have found SoundPoint Hearing @3443 N. Campbell and the staff here. Naomi, Kim, & Martin are wonderful. This office is beautifully decorated with warm lighting and comfortable seating. It is exceptionally clean & quiet. The various hearing devices and supplies are neatly displayed. My mom and I were greeted by Kim at the front desk. She was friendly, professional, quick, and efficient, getting us checked in & checked out quickly. We were greeted and assisted by Naomi Hedrick, Hearing Instrument Specialist who assisted my mom last year and remembered us. Naomi spoke with us about my mom's hearing, asked if we had any concerns, answered all questions, and conducted the hearing tests. She is kind, friendly, knowledgeable, professional, caring, easy to deal with, empathetic, and she truly cares about helping people. She has the calmest, most comforting demeanor. She made my mom feel totally at ease. We never felt pressured to make a purchase. She presented us with some reasonably priced options and my mom was able to leave with a hearing aid that was within her budget and much better than her previous pair. It is evident that Naomi truly loves her job and helping people. Naomi provided one on one VIP customer service. We never felt rushed or pressured in any way. After two weeks, we returned for a scheduled follow-up. Same great service! Naomi asked my mom how the hearing aids were working, if they were comfortable, and if she had any concerns. She checked & cleaned the hearing aids, and changed the filters. We chatted for a little bit, checked out, and were on our way. The audiologists and providers at Soundpoint have always gone out of their way to help me. They have consistently found hearing aids that work for me and then helped me learn how to get the most out of my aids. I hadn't received that kind of care from other audiology practices and was frustrated; I had almost given up looking for someone who could help me with my hearing loss. My long time Soundpoint audiologist retired last year. Cynthia helped me immensely, and I'll miss her. However, I was delighted to find out that "Hearing Instrument Specialist" Martin Verdugo had taken over my case. The yearly hearing test is never something anyone with hearing loss looks forward to. Martin started doing my hearing tests several years ago and I found him to be thorough, detailed oriented, and a good listener. He's very responsive to his clients needs and concerns. I am very happy that he will be there to help me with my hearing needs. This is the fourth pair of Starkey aids that I've worn, and they are the best yet. They utilize a cutting edge technology that updates regularly and they allow me to make changes to them when I am in different environments. No, they are not cheap, but I have a severe hearing loss and aids meant for a moderate loss do not help anymore. My Starkey aids help me to hear in many situations that I couldn't before, and that makes these aids worth the price. My hearing aids are comfortable to wear, and that is also important to me. The price of the aids includes follow up visits as needed and free cleaning. The follow up appointments are important to get the most out of any hearing aids. I can whole-heartedly recommend the Soundpoint Hearing Center on Campbell Ave in Tucson. Hearing aids are not like glasses: they do not correct your hearing back to the equivalent of 20/20 and any aids will be challenged in a noisy environment. A person has to wear their hearing aids regularly, so their brain can adjust to the new input. Wearing hearing aids that help you to hear better has been shown to reduce your chances of getting dementia.

I called for an appointment and not only could they get me in that same week, but they also worked with my insurance! She got me in right away and was able to order one aid using my 2025 benefit and two weeks later ordered the other aid using my 2026 benefit. This saved me nearly $2000.00. Not only that, but when I saw her yesterday to take delivery she gave me another tone test and discovered a large deposit of dirty dried wax against my right eardrum (no wonder my right aid was squealing on and off).
