I had a great experience here! So happy I opted to go to Sono Center, the environment was very calming and the staff was friendly. I highly recommend them! read more

I would not recommend this place! When I want to schedule an appointment, they called me back right away and scheduled it within an hour or two. They told me my results would come in 24 to 48 hours. It took over a week after I called 1 million times they sent me a report. There was some findings on it. I wanted to speak to the doctor. The report did not match what the doctor said to me so I made an appointment to go see a breast specialist now there was an issue they would not give me a CD so I could take with me. They send me one of those secured websites where it was impossible to download that to the doctors medical portal. The fact that they don't give you a CD was such a hassle. I still couldn't figure out how to get it and the images were completely use less. No one answers your call. No one helps you very awful customer service don't waste your money and don't be stressed. Go somewhere else. read more

I came here a few years ago for a breast ultrasound and had a wonderful experience. Since then, I went to The Huntington Hospital in Pasadena (Eleonor and Randall Breast Center) and was anxious about the mammogram results they gave me. They requested an ultrasound in addition to my mammogram. They made it sooo difficult for me to even book an ultrasound with them as I needed an approval from my OB (who is M.I.A). It's like: Why?! They're the ones asking me for an ultrasound and they have the ability to take said ultrasound- why do I need to get approval (aka another written referral) from my OB?! Insane! I'm not sure that Huntington even reads the patient's medical history as I had stated that I'd had a breast reduction (which creates scar tissue). I decided to come here for a second opinion. They were able to get my records from The Eleonor Breast Center. It was so much easier and smoother to book an appointment here. The radiologist that sent me the report here at Sono Center obviously took my medical history into consideration. They suggested a follow up ultrasound in a few months, which I appreciate. Their prices definitely went up but you get what you pay for in convenience, friendliness and just the fact that it's really hassle-free. They have a large validated parking lot and they're located on the first floor of the building. The place is very clean and cozy. I got my results the next day - which I appreciate very much as I was really stressed out over my results! read more

Sono Center - Room - Diagnostic Imaging Near Me - Los Angeles, California

I have been going here for years and have always had a great experience. usually you get results same day or day after. At the time I went in this year they said 24 to 48 hours for results. After we surpassed the 48 hour mark I tried to call in - multiple times. no answer. I then emailed. no reply. I finally went into the center - it is stressful waiting for results and I wanted answers - they could not tell me anything and tried to brush me off. I said, I want to talk to someone. she assured me someone would call me back. no call. I tried to call again. no answer. it's already stressful getting these scans - this adds greatly to that. not to mention i paid a lot for a private independent test. read more

I always enjoy the caring and warmth I receive at the Sono Center. My appointment began and ended on time and the technician was a lovely young woman with whom I had a delightful rapport. My reports arrived in a timely fashion--I love this technology and trust it for my health care needs. read more

Love this place. It's clean, the staff are very helpful, professional and friendly. I always feel well cared for and I trust the technology.

SonoCine can be a life saver by finding problems before they show up on mammo or ultrasound (personal experience). Staff is always lovely abd the process is comfortable and easy. read more

I have visited the Sono Center for many years (annually) because I want to have the best chance of early detection if something is brewing. Between an annual a mammogram and the Sono imaging, I feel as confident as I can. The imagining is done efficiently and takes only about 25 minutes. The staff is welcoming and will explain things along the way. The process itself involves the patient on their back and an ultrasound unit guided manually by the technician over a comprehensive area of the chest (including armpits and down to the upper ribcage). The cost has risen over the years but they often offer a discount which I try to take advantage of. Unfortunately they don't work with insurance, but if you have an HSA account you can use those funds to cover the cost. read more

I came here after I had a horrible experience with Eleanor and Randall breast center. The front desk was responsive. The doctor was compassionate. This place was every bit warm and welcoming. I could not say better things-- 10/10. A gem! read more

This place is tucked into a office building in Old Town Pasadena. It is ion the back near the parking area on the first floor. The Sono Cine is a different kind of breast exam that is highly accurate at dectiecting abnormalities. Dr Kevin Kelly is an exprert at reading these and has trained the young woman who operates the machine we'll. It is an easy, painless experience and everything possible is done to assure your comfort. The suite is warm and inviting and the staff friendly. Highly suggest you give this place a try. read more

After several TRAUMATIC mammograms and a suggested biopsy, I went to the Sono Center for a second opinion, and was relieved that "No suspicious findings were detected". The result came back promptly. Other things to consider: It's a painless and comfortable exam. Office employees are friendly. The location is convenient, with a parking lot and validation for the parking ticket. Thank you, Sono Center and Dr. Edmond Ohanian. Now I know where to go for the annual exam. read more

Dr Kelly saved my life- I went for years routinely. Painess process and thorough reads. 2 years ago, he found something that no mammogram picked up that was pre-cancerous. This finding eventually led me to do a biopsy, genetic test, and double mastectomy; but gave me my life now. Can't recommend enough. read more

I do an annual ultrasound here on top of my annual mammogram. This routine was recommended to me by the friend of a woman who died of breast cancer. During her medical journey, she had discovered this method, and had the attitude of "if-only-I-had-known." She determined to spread the word about Sono Center to as many women as she could. Early detection is key, people! Sono Center is also super easy to schedule and quick with the results. I highly recommend adding sono cine to your annual screening routine. read more

Very professional service and caring staff. I hope people will choose to use this testing instead of mammogram.

What girl likes getting her boobies squashed only to find out you need more squashing and an ultrasound? On top of that, you can't eat or sleep until you get your results days later... Having Dense breasts sucks!!!! A regular mammo even a 3D mammo DOES NOT always give accurate readings for this type of breasts. I have had a few "call backs" and then follow ups for 2 years. Let's just cut to the chase and get the news ASAP that your breasts are healthy!!! This is where is happens. Dr Kevin Kelly started this facility to help women like me. Don't get me wrong, I still worry since their trained technicians see every little detail at it's minute stage. But your results are back the next day via a secure email with a full written report. This procedure called a Sono Cine is a movie of your breasts. Isabel gives you a mesh like vest to wear and then she puts a lot of gel over them followed by the wand. You he want goes up and down each breast slowly as well as your armpits. The machine makes a beeping sound when it's time to move the next section. This process is completely painless, quick and gives us sense breast Queens "peace of mind!" *No, they do not take insurance. However, they will give you a printed receipt to turn in directly to your insurance company. You just need to file a claim. No biggie. *The cost is $395 for new patients/$350 for returning patients. Sorry, I read a few nasty reviews here and the money is worth it because I AM WORTH IT! Being healthy is one of the most important things in life, just saying... I have referred this facility to so many women who have had similar issues like mine and to others who just need to know about it!!!! Women unite! *Paid parking lot *Street parking available-read the posted signs **On a side note: Dr. Kevin Kelly recently retired. However, the new owners, whom I met, assured me that they are sticking to his protocol. read more

I have been going here for years. I initially sought it out as an alternative to mammograms and radiation. Dr Kevin Kelly has advanced technology so far that prevents breast it is better and they can deduct even smaller cancer cells than the mammograms. He has since retired and this group has carried on for not just breasted, but for other areas. It's safe and the staff is wonderful. read more

I am reminded of my annual appointment, scheduling is easy, and the paper work can be done online or when you arrive to your appointment. They take you on time and the appointment takes less than a half hour. The parking is ample and they validate, yeah! I did get the October discount, though it is still pricey. Why our medical insurance doesn't pay for some or all of it is amazing! I feel any lumps or irregularity will be detected with this service. Thank you! read more

Have been going here for years and they are wonderful and the scan is easy. Always fast and painless and the staff are wonderful

I've been going to this clinic for some time now. They are extremely thorough, always on time, with a friendly staff. Mammograms are only 40% accurate so I would highly recommend Sono Cine as a back up. I have implants and only trust this center. read more

Follow up- Since posting my review, Dr. Ohanian did respond. He called and apologized several times for what had happened with my scan and the radiologist who read my scan. I explained to Dr. Ohanian in more detail what had happened and expressed my concerns. He listened and was again apologetic. He said that things had changed in the office and the radiologist would no longer be with the company. In my previous review, I said I would not recommend having a scan at Sonocenter. However, I never expected Dr. Ohanian to call and make changes because of my review. I never felt the machine/ breast scan was the problem. It was the office staff and radiologist-the machine is only as good as the staff running it. In the future, I would go back and have my breast scans performed. read more

Quality care and great facility! I've been going for years and driving over an hour because its worth it! Pain-free and 100% comfortable, they make it-and I am super grateful. The Sono Cine Center is a very pleasant experience unlike a mammogram! Mammograms are painful and horrible and not totally reliable. This ultrasound is where doctors send you if something shows up in the mammogram. It's painless and comfortable in a calming and pleasant environment. The staff are warm and friendly and helpful they even validate for parking. It's pricey but an extremely better experience without the radiation or smashing your breasts into pancakes. You pay more but your diagnosis is much more definitive. read more

Great place for ultrasounds. So easy, never a wait, staff is friendly and the appointment feels very efficient. Highly recommend.

I have been going to Sono Cine center to do my yearly breast exams for over six years. I have dense breasts and would get recalled when I had mammograms done and then I would have to go and get an ultrasound. It was very nerve-racking to have to go through all of that. This machine is very accurate in detecting abnormalities. I am so thankful that Dr. Kevin Kelly created this machine. Also, everyone that works at the center is very friendly and professional. read more

Such a cute office, I cannot express enough how cute it is. I didn't take a pic of the front but it's so cozy. Wonderful experience and results came back in 24 hours was treated with kindness and no pain!

here's my review. do not ask clients repeatedly, via email, to leave a review on a breast exam. its tacky and wildly inappropriate. is nothing private anymore???? the two women working in the day of my appointment were kind and caring. read more

Whenever a center like this changes leadership, you brace yourself. I am delighted to report that the center has not only maintained its standards, but Dr. Ohanian truly goes out of his way to ensure his patients get the most comprehensive care (bedside manner included). In fact, I did a little google search on the "new guy", and came up with this old (2018) review on Sharecare that was very telling: "Dr. Edmond Ohanian hello how are you? I pray all is well with you. I am sending this quick message to say thank you for the excellent care you gave to my mom when she had her stroke back in December 22nd 2017. I am eternally grateful for the care and attentive care my mom recieved while staying in St Johns Regional Medical Center on the 4th floor. I will also never forget the kindness and caring way that you brought me a meal I will never ever forget that. Thank you" read more

If you want an alternative to a mammogram, I highly recommend Sono Center. Dr. Ohanian besides being extremely busy, took his time to call me & explain the result. I visited Breast Ultrasound Center for a routine breast exam. I had a great experience from the onset of the appointment to receiving my exam results in less than 24 hours. I booked my appointment easily online and showed up to my appointment in Pasadena. I was greeted by friendly staff and escorted to the exam room where they went over the process. I was in and out within 15 minutes. The entire vibe was more like a medical spa with dimmed lights in the exam room, relaxing music. My results was delivered to my email and shared with my doctor in less than 24 hours. I highly recommend the SonoCine technology experience at Breast Ultrasound Center, along with recommended annual mammogram. read more
