MRI was rough...super bruised by an (let me be nice) inexperienced "technician" sticking me multiple times in the hand AND arm leaving painful bruising. Photos attached were taken 10 minutes after my appointment. Dude was also terrible by trying to bully me into not using the bathroom when I needed to...saying "people are waiting". I just love a guilt trip with my MRI! LOL! I will say that the "helper" dude was supportive and told me to take my time. Thankful for him! I had no idea that this place had such low reviews or I wouldn't have agreed to put my trust here. Rookie mistake for not checking. BTW, 2 days later, almost the entire back of my hand is black and blue. Having this RADnet on the basement floor of a UCLA facility is "strategic". Don't let the location fool you. It has nothing to do with UCLA.

We came in for an MRI and were immediately put off by the unprofessional behavior of the staff. The front desk person had a rude tone and attitude, and later, another imaging technician came out and started arguing with them about someone being late--cursing was involved. My husband and I were right there, and it made the whole experience awkward and uncomfortable. Definitely not what you want when you're trying to have a medical procedure done.

The are ok professionally. But I like the one in Beverly Hills better. It was not my day, I guess. I arrived at 2:30pm and they sent me upstairs for my ultrasound while I had an X Ray as well. After I am done with ultrasound, I came down at 3:30pm and they softly rejected me and had me come back the next day because they stopped at 4:15 and there were 3 people ahead of me: Now, which is the next day, I follow her instruction to come in the morning at 10am, and I have been here for 2 full hours while the receptionist keeps ensuring me she will see me before her lunch hour at 12:30pm as she walks out for her own lunch hour. Ms. Janet who seems to be the most confident and experienced administrators informs me there are still people ahead of me and it will take at least 45 minutes, which overlaps her lunch hour. She suggests me come back tomorrow AGAIN. I know she means well; but we don't have time to spare 3 times and wait here again and again. It is just not my day, I guess. They are all nice. It just seems somewhere or something is not right if I had been informed to wait at least 2-3 hours rather than knowing this after 2-hour's wait to lake a decision to continue to wait or come back tomorrow again. This does not sound right.

The worst! Makes you wait for over 2 hours and keep saying 5 more minutes. Worst staff I've ever seen.

I don't normally write reviews, but after the experience my family and I had at Medical Imaging of…read moreSouthern California, I felt compelled to share our story. couple of weeks ago, I started experiencing some pain in my groin area. My primary care physician ordered a urine test and an AFP blood test. To my complete shock, the AFP results came back elevated. My doctor called me into his office and explained that the blood work showed signs that could be consistent with cancer. Hearing those words was one of the most frightening moments of my life. I consider myself a healthy person with no significant medical history, so this came completely out of nowhere. My wife and I were devastated. Like any parent, my first thoughts were about my two young children. I couldn't stop thinking, "What if I have cancer? What if I won't be here to watch my kids grow up?" My doctor referred me to a urologist, but the earliest appointment we could get was August 5th. To us, that felt like an eternity. Every day waiting was filled with anxiety, fear, and countless sleepless nights. My wife spent an entire Friday calling every urologist and imaging center she could find. We even decided we would pay out of pocket if necessary because we simply couldn't wait. Most places couldn't fit us in or weren't willing to help. Then she called Medical Imaging of Southern California on Wilshire Boulevard. From the very first phone call, everything changed. After hearing our situation, the staff immediately understood the urgency and compassionately found a way to fit me in that very same day. That simple act of kindness meant more to us than words can express. When I arrived, everyone already knew my situation and treated me with genuine care and empathy. There was no feeling of being "just another patient." They made me feel like a person whose fears truly mattered. I especially want to recognize Carla, the ultrasound technologist. She was absolutely incredible. Throughout the entire examination, she remained calm, professional, gentle, and incredibly compassionate. She understood how scared I was and constantly reassured me that I was in good hands. She explained each step of the process, answered my questions with patience, and treated me with kindness that I'll never forget. Healthcare needs more people like Carla. Once my scans were completed, they didn't make me wait days wondering about the results. They were immediately reviewed by Dr. Jabour, who personally met with me afterward. I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Jabour. He took the time to carefully review every image with me, explain exactly what he was seeing, and answer every question my wife and I had. He never rushed us. He spoke with confidence, compassion, and honesty. Instead of simply reading a report, he educated us, reassured us, and made sure we understood everything. His calm demeanor, extensive knowledge, and genuine concern immediately put us at ease. By the time we left his office, the fear that had consumed our family for days had been replaced with hope and tremendous relief. It felt like a thousand-pound weight had been lifted off our shoulders. Medical Imaging of Southern California didn't just perform an ultrasound. They changed our lives. They reminded us what healthcare is supposed to be: compassionate, patient-centered, professional, and truly caring. To Dr. Jabour, Carla, and every member of your amazing staff, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you for treating us with dignity, kindness, and compassion during one of the scariest moments of our lives. Thank you for taking our concerns seriously and acting so quickly. Most importantly, thank you for giving my family peace of mind and allowing us to smile again. We will never forget what you did for us, and our family will always be grateful. If I could give Medical Imaging of Southern California more than five stars, I absolutely would. They have earned my highest recommendation without hesitation.

The front desk staff need to speak louder, as many seniors are hard of hearing, and a more welcoming approach would also make a difference. The tech who came out to get me was so rude that I actually considered leaving, but against my better judgment I stayed for my appointment. I was told the MRI would take about 20 minutes, but it ended up taking close to an hour. The young woman performing the MRI was extremely condescending. The entire experience felt more like being targeted by the mean girls club in high school rather than being in a professional medical setting. I would not return to this location again. *** Update: UCLA responded to my review with a generic message from "Business Manager" directing me to a link, but without providing an actual contact name, phone number, or UCLA email address. If they truly want to discuss patient experiences, I believe direct contact information would be more appropriate and professional.
