This place used to be one of my fav ff spots but has went way downhill the past year. Just ordered #7 foot long chili cheese Conwy with tots and a root beer. There is barley enough chili and chees to almost cover the coney.. Then I asked for ketchup for my tots and they said there's a charge on condiments!! What the helly?? This is quite honestly one of the worst experiences I've had at a Sonic in quite a while. It started off great, I ordered at the drive-thru came around. They prepared my food, everything was hot, and when it came out I got one condiment. When I asked for additional condiments they told me that I would have to be charged again cuz they'd already closed out my ticket and that every condiment that I wanted I would have to pay an additional $0.10. Milkshakes were kind of trash. We got caramel, cheesecake, and strawberry cheesecake. None were very good and all of them had very little flavor other than vanilla. Husband went to go get a limited time yellow cake milkshake. Gets to the window and the worker read the order back and said it was a cheesecake shake. He corrected her and said he asked for a yellow cake shake. She said "it's the same thing." He explained that they're different. She turns around and starts making fun of him to the manager before the window even shuts. Manager joined in. He told the girl at the window he didn't appreciate that and she denied it. Horrible customer service. Your order a blast and you get a shake you order a shake and you get a shake. The manager only has excuses saying the company has decided to change recipes, so basically the company has decided to sale blasts as shakes according to him. According to sonic website a blast is thick with whip cream this sonic gives you blasts that are thin like a shake with no whip cream and a lid that is not even a blast lid. I am very disappointed in sonic it is a fast food joint but they do nothing for quality across their franchises. We pulled up to the drive-through and told them we needed a minute to look at the menu and he said that's fine, just order when you're ready. A minute later we said "OK were ready"... no answer! We kept saying "hello" for the next five minutes but sill no answer. We would have just left but there was a truck in front of us so we were stuck in the drive thru. We sat there for another five minutes until the truck finally moved and we could leave. As we pulled up to the window we saw them all standing there talking so my boyfriend knocked on the window and said that it's rude to leave us sitting there and how bad this service is. Always been good to me. Not a huge Sonic fan but sometimes it's nice to walk the dog and get a slush/shake. Came here once after visiting the Westminster Open Space/Dog Park to quench my thirst. Had a slush and an ocean water without issue. Only hear poor reviews, but for a Sonic the service and food/drink quality are what I expect. Would and do return to this establishment. After reading the previous reviews I was slightly nervous about coming to this location. Our kids love Sonic though, and it was the closest one. Also, I figured that it's fast food and as long as no one was complaining about dirty conditions or gross food we were fine. I was so happy with our visit! We always park and order so the carhops bring our food out to us. I figure if you're going to Sonic you might as well get the whole experience instead of going through the drive-through like you would at any other restaurant. The person who took our order was pleasant, friendly and helpful. They apologized because they were out of onion rings on our visit, but we quickly picked other options from the extensive menu. I wanted a BLT combo, which wasn't on the menu, and they assured me I could get one. When he brought out the order, the carhop was friendly and when we discovered that a drink was missing he quickly brought it out and brought the extra straws and ranch dressing we'd asked for! Never ever ever eat here. I used to work here and they are disgusting The lead manager made me a illegal night manager, along with a multitude of other teenage girls. This usually entailed young girls closing alone with a multitude of homeless people harassing them on a regular basis. The support of this "restaurant" supports that behavior. Further one of the weekend cooks refused to wear gloves and would consistently pick their nose or pick their scabs and then touch the food... specifically the burgers, hot dogs, etc My first day on the job I was hung trained and spilled ice cream on the ground. I grabbed a rag and went to wipe it up then throw away the rag, the manager then told me "don't worry" and proceeded to rinse it out with water and use it on the counter. DISGUSTING We also were told multiple times that we were allowed to close early and then would tell the customers "due to being short staffed we are closed" etc as a downright lie. This means that a multitude of customers got pushed away so we could close early. (This was enforced by our lead manager as he would text us saying "close now" to save himself money) As an illegal manager I was not allowed to be put on a managers wage therefore the lead manager would artificially inflate my and other girls hours to keep them obligated. Me nor any of my colleagues had ever consumed a food safety or food health corse, which was technically illegal. The lemonade stand at this location was cleaned twice a week if lucky sometimes going up to two weeks never being cleaned. And at any given point you could find mold in it. Even once my colleague found 3 bugs in it. The lead manager always keeps a disabled person on staff for tax cuts but refuses to give them hours and or openly makes fun of them to the other employees (who are mostly teenagers) this is a strong manipulation tactic. The lead manager would figure out when secret shoppers (food and customer service reviewers) would come then tell the workers and if they received a perfect score give them a Starbucks gift card.
