My husband had the breakfast burger and I had the BBQ bacon burger. Both were perfectly cooked...nice and charred on the outside and juicy on the inside. Both came with fries, which they offer in a few seasoning options. I opted for the garlic parmesan fries. When they came out, I was disappointed to see that they were shoestring style fries, since shoestrings are typically a bit too crispy/overcooked for my liking, but I must say, these were the best shoestring fries I've ever had. The garlic parmesan seasoning put it right over the top. They were also the perfect crispy outside, tender inside that I love in a French fry. Again, shoestrings usually aren't tender inside, but these were. This is a great little restaurant just a short distance from the lake house we stayed at. If/when we return to Warsaw, we will be back!

We were warned that because they were so busy that the kitchen was backed up and we would have a longer than normal wait for our food, but that didn't bother us as we were enjoying an evening out and had had a pretty big lunch earlier in the day, so we weren't starving. It wasn't an exceptionally long time before our food was brought out. My husband had the bacon jam salmon over garlic mash and I had the bruschetta chicken with rosemary fingerlings. Both meals were incredible. It's hard to believe that this unassuming little restaurant in Warsaw had better food than most of the high-end places we've eaten at in Kansas City and other cities. The presentation was beautiful as well. Christian, our server, was polite and attentive. Two Michelin-star quality entrees w/sides, two glasses of wine, and incredibly all for well under $100 including a 25% tip. I highly recommend The Landing for anyone looking for great food in Warsaw. If/when we take another lake trip, we'll be back. We've even discussed that this might be worth a special trip from KC just for a meal alone! Casey's gas pumps are frequently down. Not all of them--just one or two. There's no signage or bag…read moreon them (as most gas stations signal issues with their pumps). This happens so frequently that when a customer is struggling, sometimes another customer volunteers, "That one's been down for a week." They have squeegees but never any Windex to clean your car at the pumps. Ergo they might as well eliminate the squeegees. Casey's has two iced coffee machines. One has had an out of order sign on it for seven months. The one next to it usually has an inch or two of coffee in it, then it runs out. If you're looking for iced coffee, go across the street to MacDonalds. It's $3.04 for a medium sized iced coffee which is more than Casey's charges, but you don't have to wait almost a year for them to either fix one machine or refill the other.
