Whenever I'm near a sonic I go & get my Chicago hot dog. All Sonics I've been to take long so I'm always prepared for that. However, I went to the drive thru & Alexandria at the register was so blah like she didn't want to work today. She rang up my order wrong & didn't even apologize just had an attitude that she rung it up wrong. She kept closing the door while we were speaking. She had to bring our order out and had an attitude doing it. read more

I ordered the medium Mango Peach Refresher from Sonic twice, and both times it was horrible. It tasted just like water with no mango or peach flavor at all. Very disappointing and definitely not worth the money. I gave it a second chance thinking the first one was a mistake, but it was the same experience again. I wouldn't order it again. read more

Came at 2 pm there was minimal wait and the Philly cheesesteak and fries were good. The server on rollerblades was a great, nostalgic, added feature. Just stay away from the limeade; it is absolutely disgusting. Will never order this again. Our server Nyla was awesome. Will return read more

We came on a weekday evening and it took very long for someone to take our order and even longer to get our food. The credit card machine was also broken. The chicken tenders and fries were quite good. We got a shake which was creamy and delicious. read more

Not sure why this place is in business with all of the food options and 1 off places in the area. The service was fine and friendly and the only reason for 3 stars the food is awful. This was always a place down south and other states, back in the days but the food is an insult to those places also. We should expect more for Shake Shack prices read more

This is my go-to spot for a quick milkshake. I always get one when I go here either vanilla or caramel only. I am always satisfied with it whether I get it through the drive thru or if it's skated over to me. Occasionally they are made so well that it tastes like it was made with love. Their whipped cream is the perfect compliment to the well-crafted thick and creamy milkshake. On the days that they remember to put the cherry on it, it feels like I won the lottery. I would also recommend their slush especially in blue coconut and their double quarter lb cheeseburger which is hidden in plain sight on their specials menu. Shoutout to this franchise for providing a compostable straw that doesn't disintegrate upon contact with liquids! read more

I have to say this is a pretty fast sonic! My food came out in maybe 5-10 minutes? While the staff and service were great, the one thing I do have to point out that I did not like was that the chicken and onion rings I got were extremely soggy. IG: QueenOfAdventureNYC read more

Just had the hand made mix. Order from the car and the waiter comes with roller blades. Not the smartest of employees but slow and courteous! Needed the receipt but he took it back and I'm waiting about 4 minutes. Missing the cherry from all the shakes. But gee gosh not sending him back for that. Just wondering how he expected me to hold 3 shakes and drive without a tray. Now they are melting and I still have a 30 minutes drive!!!! read more

Went there 20 mins before closing and was so excited to get shakes since it's been a while and the worker already closed the machine and said she ran out of tots but then she said she had more. She also got our order wrong since we order 3 meals. We were missing onions rings and bread that came with chicken meal. We called back and asked where is it? She said .. you still want it ? It's like a piece of bread and onion rings. If we paid for it , of course we still want it and still ended up not getting it. Poor service and wish i had something else. We spent $39.90 and was super disappointed never again! read more

Very quick service, Joshua was great. Food was as expected. Unfortunately the area smelled like marijuana.

Good food good service but they forgot something out my order. Other then that go for it

The wait for food is like you are expecting Kobe beef to arrive directly imported from Japan. It's ridiculous. This is not fast food rather slow food. Food also revived 4( minutes after the order...COLD..and it was 32 degrees outside! The establishment is run poorly and this reflects poorly on the culture and corporate values. They upgraded my sides a size up but the whole process and experience was flawed. Kudos to the skateboard kid who tried rectify. This is a case study to learn from and I hope the experience improves. read more

Horrible, lot of money, burgers were small and dry, fries were small for the price I paid. I don't know how they get away with it. Sonic should be closed. Would not go back I'm making a claim with my credit card company. If I could give no star I would. Sonic is ripping off the consumer. read more

The food is pretty good but the service is horrible. We pulled into one of the Stalls and waited over 20 minutes for somebody to come to the car and then finally we put in an order online and I went to the window to go pick it up. For the best milkshakes in the world, no one beats Sonic. I'm very critical of the high sodium and caloric foods they serve, but for a quick junk food fix once a year this is the place to pull up to. The service is often pretty quick, unless too many ppl called out. Convenient location by the mall. I've tasted the food and it was good, but I must admit I then did five hours of backbreaking yard work afterwards to burn off the calories ingested . read more

Well the question is,After you push the red button how long should it be before you are served? Your guess is as good as mine. The wait was unreasonable for a place that was not busy. After no communication and after a reasonable wait I drove off to look to feed my hungry self. I love the Sonic commercials with the two guys but I don't like too long waits. Never had a response and thus never had a roller skater deliver my meal. read more

Ate here today with my 2 cousins to try this place out for the first time. We all got different orders to eat inside my cousin's car. The service there was also kinda slow and could've been faster. Rude rude rude and rude sonlets start by saying that I was not welcomed when ordering. The young lady that asked to take my order was RUDE I need to know her name because she was rushy, had an attitude (I did nothing to her) if she hated her job then she need to get another one. One thing you DO NOT DO IS PLAY WITH PEOPLES FOOD. She didn't give me time to order everything, what if I wanted something else, like that's bad business if your staff won't allow you to order how do you make money. I'm really over this experience because this was my first time at this sonic. Stall # 3 12/23/18 at 1035pm I hope someone does something about the rudeness of staff read more

This review is not about customer service. Hi , and Sonic is my go to place and when I'm there I typically order cookie dough blast. Just about a week ago I ordered by usual and I noticed a funny taste. I didn't pay it to much mind because I had brushed my teeth prior. So I decided to go back today for another Blast and again I'm tasting the funny sour taste. Something is definitely wrong with the ice cream & or machines. The ice cream tastes sour spoiled milk or almost freezer burned. I am highly upset because there are not many Sonics in the area to resort to. I was refunded by the employees. read more

I wanted to see what the hype was about after seeing all of the commercials with those kooky guys promoting tenders, slushies, and corn dogs. Unfortunately, I wasn't too excited about my meal. After perusing through the menu I decided to share a tenders combo with my hunny. We substituted the choice of French fries or tater tots for the onion rings. We also decided to share a Bahama Mama snow cone slush. The tenders were good but I found a few pieces were not cooked thoroughly. I ended up discarding those strange pieces. The onion rings were terrible. I couldn't enjoy the sweet honey batter. I realized that the onions were sliced awfully thick. I prefer onion rings that have a nice ratio of unsweetened batter and onions that are actually edible and enjoyable. The Bahama Mama Slush was a nice combo of tropical coconut and not overtly sweet. I added some Tito's to it and felt like I was transported to the beaches of Jamaica. read more

The food here is so good, especially their vanilla shakes. The only problem I have is that when I order to eat in their outdoor seating area, the app doesn't let me put in the correct stall # which is #25. I didn't have this issue until recently. read more

I've been coming here a few times a year as of late. Typically only come during late nights with friends and every time, we are either surprised or not surprised by the experience. Sometimes, the workers take our orders quickly and the food comes delivered quickly and without mistake and other times, it's a mess. There have been times where I've had to wait 30 minutes to an hour for the food to arrive and sometimes, there are mistakes, wrong items or missing items. The garbage cans are always full to the brim and it seems like the workers here are either happy to be working or just miserable. The customers that come here are generally are the younger rowdy crowd typically late at night. read more

While in the area, some friends and I decided to get a quick bite from Sonic. The line was pretty long but it looked like it was moving smoothly. BIG LIE! We were able to get a slot in the Drive-In pretty quickly and we ordered within about 10 minutes of getting to the Drive-In. We watched as some cars started to get food but there were 10 minutes' gaps, people started to get restless. We waited for about 30-40 minutes to get our food --- 3 drinks and kids meals but we were missing 1 drink {MINE} due to there being no Cookie Dough. I ordered a different milkshake and waited another 15 minutes. I was very impatient at this point, just as I was about to get out of the car, they bought out my shake. Guess what? IT WAS WRONG but delicious. I decided to not waste any more energy on being upset and simply enjoyed the incorrect milkshake. I love the food but the long wait-time was brutal especially when its suppose to be fast food. Think twice before coming to this Sonic. read more

This has got to be the worst sonic restaurant. This is the 2nd time that I was not able to use either of my credit cards to pay for our order. There's absolutely nothing wrong with my cards. The first time the guy said the machines were down and this time they had no clue what was happening. IF I didn't have cash (which I usually don't care, we would have out of luck. We ordered the #2 double cheeseburger. The meat was tough and very dry with hardly no Mayo, 1 sliver of tomato and lettuce ribs not leaves. The fries were also over cooked. We also ordered 2 hot dogs with mustard & ketchup that were very tough & the buns were crumbly. The #1 hamburger was also dry with a drop of mayo, no tomato (not even a sliver) and it had lettuce ribs. The mozzarella sticks were relatively good compared to everything else which was just nasty. The ginger ale drink was flat with a weird aftertaste and the diet coke was flat. The coke was at least normal This is the last time we are going to this horrible restaurant read more

The most disgusting fast food franchise I've ever had in my entire life. Nothing like the commercials they show. So many things on the menu and nothing we ordered was digestible. read more

Most of the reviews are complaining about the wait time and they are not wrong. I felt bad for the staff that bring out the meals to the cars because there are only a few people working and 20+ cars. The wait time for each order is around 45 minutes. It's not "fast food" though because the food takes forever to come out and the other cars were inquiring about the long wait. Great corn dog and cherry limeade and the fact they provide you with a mint. The menu need some heathy variety and bone in chicken wings.

I can't give it ZERO stars because it is not an option so 1 star it is. The person taking the order is rude. Cuts you off and speaks with an unwelcoming tone. This person needs customer service 101. I have no complaints about this location. Sonic is my guilty pleasure, and it brings me so much happiness and joy to come here and eat lol. To me, sonic is one of the best fast food burger joints ever! Lol. This location can be a little slow. The servers almost always scare you half to death when they roll over bringing your food. (You never see them coming lol). But the food is always consistently delicious. I don't go often, but when i do, I'm in heaven! 5 stars all around! read more

Been here only a few times. Every-time I go thru drive thru I deal with attitude from the staff. The staff just happen to be always women. Young menopausal. That's the only explanation. The food is always good but customer service is horrible. Using one of the stalls for mobile ordering is good but don't press that red button. The attitude come right thru. None of the ones serving the food are rude. They are always pleasant. What they need is mandatory customer service training for anyone running drive thru or interacting on boards. If all else fails have those inside work outside. People won't put up with attitude when you in their face. read more

It will close down within a year I can guarantee it . Food takes forever and it's poor quality . The employees could care less . The ordering area is like a disaster . Hi Friends ! Never had Sonic before. Wanted to catch some of those Happy Days Golden oldie vibes. At the Sonic drive-thru in Valley Stream. I haven't been served by a car hop on roller skates since I was a kid back in the olden days with my folks. SHORT version.. Keep Driving ! LONGER version..Keep reading. I pulled into the car bay where there was a colorful menu to view. The menu board had a speaker for interaction with your server and a slot for card payment. I really didn't see any specials so I tried a Philly cheese steak sandwich, their crispy chicken sandwich, a budget Quarter Pounder Burger and a large iced tea. I was shocked when the total on their simple fast food came to over $17 bucks?? This will probably be be the last time I come here...The food took about 15 minutes to come to the car which is a longer wait than usual. The first sandwich I checked out was the Philly cheese steak sub. At $5.69 for the sandwich only, this choice was a huge disappointment. The beef was weird tasting overcooked and dried out. I've usually had this sandwich prepared elsewhere with onions or green peppers there wasn't either on it. And it desperately needed it. Sonic Philly cheese steak sandwich is dried out over processed salty pieces of meat with some sort of Velveeta fake cheese sparingly doled out on top. The sandwich is dry and flavorless without any onions or peppers to balance the sandwich. I struggled through half of the sandwich before tossing it. Next up was the classic crispy chicken sandwich ..another terrible fail. The chicken patty used was not freshly cooked. Cold and old, it had obviously been previously prepared and was just sitting waiting for me to come along.. Stone cold and Soggy. For the Sonic newbie I was, it offered a terrible introduction to the Sonic line of chicken. Three bites and I was done forever. Okay let's try the everyday quarter-pound double cheeseburger for $2:39 simply awful. Without any onions tomato pickle or any veggies whatsoever it was a bland disgusting lump of flavorless meat. Two bites and trashed. What's left that wasn't disgusting oh that's right the iced tea. Priced at Double what most places charge the ice tea was half ice and offered little relief to the dried-out bland food that this Sonics had to offer. I don't ever think I will need to return to a Sonic's again. I didn't like being ripped off $17 for food I couldn't finish ...Lured by cute commercials. I paid triple the price point that I would have for better food at Checkers down the road. read more
