I have been a route 44 dirty soda kind of gal lately and this location always makes it perfect. They also always get it to me fast and I order on the app for 1/2 drinks during the summer. PEOPLE THESE EMPLOYEES MAKE TIP WAGE. Round up your change, hell give a dollar. If you have a complicated order, order it on the app so you don't have to worry about anyone pressing the wrong button. If it's late go through the drive through, Most fast food chains are understaffed at any time so give a little grace. read more

This has to be the worst sonic in the country. A minimum 15 mins wait every time you go and we've never had a correct order. If you order a diet drink do not expect it to be diet. read more

Tasty time at Sonic! Loved the new Pickle Fries. What a treat to have fried pickles nearby and pretty cheap. Got a double cheeseburger that was a tad dry. The bun was a bit deflated too. Beef left something to desired. How McDonald's nails a cheeseburger every time while this one was average is beyond me. Love Sonic's desserts too, be back next time for those. Did drive through so no ambiance. Staff was very nice. read more

I'm writing this because I've had multiple uncomfortable experiences at this location, which is disappointing because I genuinely enjoy Sonic's food and drinks. Most recently, when we were placing our order, the employee taking it (I believe her name was Lavish or something similar) was very rude. After we ordered the first item, the screen wasn't matching what we were saying, so we paused to make sure the order was correct. Instead of helping clarify, she told us with an attitude that we didn't need to stop and to just keep going. We were only trying to ensure the order was accurate. She also refused to make a blended Red Bull/slush even though it's something Sonic offers. After receiving our food, we went inside to ask for napkins and ketchup. A very kind employee immediately started helping me, but the same woman came over repeatedly asking if she could help, even after I explained I was already being helped. While we were eating outside, she continued staring at us through the window, which made the situation feel very uncomfortable. This also wasn't my first unusual interaction at this location. On a previous visit over the weekend during drive-up service, the employee handed us our food without responding when we greeted her--she just smiled awkwardly and said nothing. Again, the disappointing part is that I really enjoy the food and drinks here, but experiences like these make it difficult to want to return. read more

1 hour. One (1) HOUR for an ice cream, stank burger and chicken. Whoops wrong order whoops wrong order multiple times. Enough. There better have been a nuclear threat back there for a microwaved patty to take that long. read more

the person working had horrible customer service. They refused to accept cash. The milk shake took forever to make and it was so thick it wasn't a milk shake it was just ice cream in a cup. I don't have high standards for a sonic but this was bad. read more

Their cherry limeaids today weren't good. TOO Sour. Might've run out of flavoring. It was DISGUSTING! The last other few times they didn't even give us cherries.. Ambience is okay, but this place isn't as good as the one near us. Only reason we come to this one is because we shop at walmart. read more

sooooo sloooooowww so slow. eating up time. gas. patience. Waited behind one car for a milkshake for 8 minutes read more

Tater tots are always HARD and HOLLOW, app tried to scam you with the "buy one get one" deal by increasing the price of your first item once you select this discount. And no more unlimited half price drinks. The HOLLOW TATER TOTS really sealed the deal that I'm never coming back. The staff is usually kind but very incompetent. read more

Nick was real good with the customer service and we've come here fairly often without any issues

Jacob was working today and the car next to us was making inappropriate nosies and he proceeded to deny us service and then we went up to the drive through and he asked us if he had already refused service to which we tried to tell him it wasn't us he said he heard us laughing which we weren't and then made a sob story about how he was alone and "wasn't dealing with this" we were only asking for beverages and proceeded to say "byeee" to us to try and taunt us as we drove away read more

very quick service like sonic the hedgehog. yummy yummy garlic butter bacon burger. love the strawberry cheesecake shake

Tried to order a strawberry limeade with sweet cream and I was told that was being inappropriate hilarious

They can never seem to get any order correct. Specifically, if you order through their app, also their Internet connection once you pull up to connect and notify them you're there never works. It's a crappy area or they do this on purpose. read more

Stopped for a burger, put the order in and waited over 15 min... no one was working, no staff, no burgers... went on my way... booo

I checked their hours, closes at 10pm. I show up at 9:09 pm and it's closed? No sign or anything? I was just near another sonic but decided to go to this one since it was on the way to my destination. Had to back track 12 min to go to a different sonic because I was craving a slushee. So annoying. read more

Didn't wait forever in the drive thru for once but they didn't have any ice cream. So we left. Waste of time as always.

Just waited at the drive through for over 15 minutes without hearing even a peep from an employee. They were open, it was 8:00 on a Saturday. The car in front of us ordered and received their food. While we were sitting there waiting several cars behind us left. Would have been nice to at least hear from an employee telling us it would be a minute. We eventually just left and went to Chick-Fil-A next door. read more

Tonight was the second time I went through the drive through at least 20 minutes before closing and did not hear from anyone, despite there being employees inside that I could see. I then went to the park and order, pushed the button twice, which was shut off from inside and I was ignored. Unacceptable, this location needs better service and more respect for their patrons. In the time I was there tonight, at least 10 cars came and went without being serviced. Do better! read more

Terrible experience. It's 10am and they are but refuse to take anyone's order. The employees are looking at us but won't take our orders.

Rotten milkshake, took 2 sips, asked them to make it again and warned them of the issue, employee was annoyed and threw it away in a weird way. Second milkshake still rotten, employee disregarded me and said she had no other complaints, I was the issue. I threw up, drove to the next Sonic, milkshake was great, I was not the issue. My wife also tried the milkshake twice and agreed it was rotten. read more

Probably the slowest sonic I have ever been to. Forgot all the sauces and sat in the drive through for 10 minutes and no one came on the intercom and eventually circled the building and got back in line on order to be helped. After being helped and getting my food no sauce was in the bag. Don't go here seems really understaffed and the staff that does work here needs better training read more

This is the absolute worst sonic I've ever been to. By far. Sat at the drive in slot for 10 minutes with hardly anyone there. Pushing the button to place my order. Nobody answered I pushed it again and again and 2 people next to me got angry and left because they had the same issue I did. So I went through the drive thru and that took forever and then I got to the window and nobody had a clue what I ordered. So if you enjoy wasting your time this is the place for you. I will NEVER be back. read more

I will say that This location is been a failure, just for the reason of drive through being a pain in the ass since no one ever answers and i had to come back to the booth screens, and they always take for ever on bringing my food. I don't know if they have the heat high so they can do it faster or something but they always burning my chicken sandwich read more

When I drove up there was people at the little stalls when I tried to order he said we're not open for stalls anymore please come round through drive-through. And while I was sitting here having lunch he went ahead and put up the yellow chain keep people from going into the stalls looks like there's only the manager and a cook very poor customer service I will not be coming back read more

I love Sonic, but this one is consistently disappointing. I ordered cheddar bites, not knowing Sonic had taken them off the menu, and instead of saying, "We don't have those anymore, but we have jalapeño poppers, would you like those or something else?" they just brought me jalapeño poppers. And I'm sorry, but one is delicious fried cheese and the other has a dang pepper in it! Not the same - tell people that cheddar bites aren't a thing anymore, Sonic! We also went late on 4th of July weekend for ice cream because Freddy's and Chick Fil A next door were closed. That's why everyone else in the neighborhood was there too. I mean I'm talking PACKED - no parking spots open and the drive thru line was about to wrap around the building. I promise you, this was only the case because everything else near-by was closed so they should have been pumped to have so much business, but the people working the drive thru were totally rude and gave me a straw for my sonic blast instead of a spoon. From now on I'm going to make a point to chose Chick Fil A and Freddys next door instead of this Sonic. read more

Amazing service! All the carHops skate here! It's such a pretty location that is nested up to the mountains! I get the best service every time I bring my family up here. Last time, I got the #1 CB and it was delicious, with some sweet potato tots, and a Large Cherry Limeaide. Probably, the best drink of my life! I would highly recommend this Sonic Drive In due to its amazing customer service. They have amazing burgers with amazing carhops and managers! I disagree with the Steve below...a busy day at Sonic on the patio with a couple of awesome carhops flying by is a great was to have some fun while on the way to the mountains, the Flat-Irons, or just to have some lunch or dinner. 5 stars...everybody gets a bad burger once in awhile but great service happens at this one EVERY TIME!!! read more

See all

Was fine to me! Food was good and service was good, Barely had a wait. Been obsessed with the limeades!

I'm the first one to review this location right across from the mall?!? It's okay. It's Sonic. The meat patty on my burger was extremely thin and the fries were OK. I didn't really have anything else other than a Diet Coke and they managed not to screw that up. This location has both the car hop service and a drive up. The car hop is a unique experience and I like that you can pay with a credit card at the menu board, but who needs a drive-up? The food is not that good people. Anyway, I've been here two times now and the first time received excellent service - the second time when we dared to ask to keep the tray at the car we were treated like we were going to drive off and steal the 99¢ plastic tray. Honestly, It's a solid 2 star experience and nothing more once the novelty and uniqueness of car-window service wears off. There are better burger joints around. read more

Sonic Drive-In - Burgers Near Me - Superior, Colorado

Sonic used to be one of my cravings but in the past few months since I last stopped in, they've made a major change, and not for the better. Their buns used to be somewhat flat and large, and contained large but thin burger patties that were flavorful and yes, craveable. That was the way Sonic burgers were done for their entire history, as far as I can tell. I just returned home with Super Sonic Double Cheeseburgers and they were HORRIBLE. First, they were barely even warm - the cheese on them wasn't even melted to the patty! Second, the patties were now smaller but thicker, and on a way, way, way too thick and fluffy bun. Somehow burger places have gotten the idea that if you have a fluffier bun, people must think it's a bigger burger, when in reality it's just more and airier bread. The Super Sonic Double Cheeseburger flavor - gone completely. What was once something I went out of my way to get when I was near a Sonic has morphed into something not even worth driving across the street for. Why they made this change, I'll never know but it is NOT a good one, and simply put, I won't be back. EVER. You lost a devoted fan, Sonic. read more

First of all, no sonic employee should ever feel like the perfect time to yell at me about my political beliefs is when they bring my food out, who the hell hired these people??? It's not their place to even bring up politics to customers. I'm sure sonic even has rules against talking about politics in the workplace. Let alone to customers. Will never return to this location. Honestly somewhat impressed that the girl was capable of getting that flustered and red in the face, looked like a tomato that's the only reason this gets 1 star is for entertainment. Other than that I'd give the place 0 if I could. And no this isn't my first time here, I've been numerous times and always have terrible experiences with the employees. It was my last resort for a quick bite to eat, food is kinda cold. Stay the hell away from here!! read more

Standard sonic! It's got all the components you'd expect from this fast food chain like drive-through, greasy and cheap food, and the park and order dining option. But I do think this particular sonic is especially amicable with their service. I don't remember the last time I ate at sonic, honestly. But, I vaguely recall the servers delivering your food on roller skates back in the day? Maybe I'm an old geezer now and that's a thing of the past, but if you're expecting that, then don't. It was probably a safety hazard anyway. What's worthwhile at sonic though, in my opinion, are the slushees! My personal recommendation is lemonberry, which features whole lemon slices and strawberries right in the mix. That icy cool beverage is perfect on a sweltering hot day. And for that price, I say worth. read more

Sonic Drive-In - slushee rain or shine - Burgers Near Me - Superior, Colorado

You have to hit up Sonic for the stuff that made them famous - wacky drink combinations and lots of ice cream/slushee desert options. I don't know anywhere else where you can get a coconut cherry Dr. Pepper or an orange mango Sprite. The combos are endless! The desserts are great too...lots of mix-ins for your ice cream. The 'normal' food is just OK. It's fair as far as fast food goes. I really like the green chile cheeseburger. The chile has a nice zip to it. Other than that, most of the food is just 'meh'. We definitely don't go here to eat. It's a nice treat every once in awhile. As a bonus, their happy hour is 2pm-4pm and drinks are half price! read more

I stopped by the drive through at sonic and was surprised by the lack of quality service. After ordering a combo meal I drove to the pickup window and paid. Then I waited while the employee made over 10 shakes and drinks then she handed me my order that was already there when I pulled up. The tater tots were very cold, they must have been cooked long before I arrived then to wait while she made over 10 shakes and drinks. You have lost me as a customer. read more

Thought I'd try them again. The cheeseburger had cold non melted cheese. I ate at the restaurant and they brought no ketchup out for my fries. The milkshake didn't fit through the straw. The lady that brought it out was very nice however. read more

I went to the drivetrought of this place today at 10 am, it was empty no customers at all. When I was ready to order a voice over the speaker said ,just give me one second. Like I said, there was no customers, so i really thought it will be a short wait. I decided to leave after 4 minutes waiting for someone to take my order. I guess, Starbucks, chick-fil-a and McDonald's are very happy with the very bad service this place offers. One more Sonics condemned to close very soon. read more
