This was our first visit and we were impressed. The inside dinning room was pristine. No sticky floors. Clean tables and seats. No weird smells and the building was clean as well. So we're off to a good start. Our Carhop, Alex was so kind. He changed the TV station to the Disney Channel and made my son's day. We ordered a double cheeseburger, Chicken Club Toaster, Chili Cheese Dog, groovy fries and a chocolate shake for the Hubs and I had a Turtle Truffle Blast. Basically, three of us ate for about $10 each. We were full and even with our extra indulgences, we didn't top $40. Our hot food was hot, the cold food was cold and it was all delicious. My hubs enjoyed his chili dog so much, he got another one. I don't see why this Sonic is so badly rated, and if it's because of past management, I don't know. One my way out of time for a short visit, I stopped in to Sonics for a quick bit. Before heading back onto the road. This place either on this particular day or may in general doesn't seem to get much business. As there's two drive up and dine areas an opposite sides of the building. But know one was being served at either. I didn't realize this at first when I saw cars that appeared to be parked on the far side, in the kiosk area. But later realized all of the kiosks weren't in service, and the cars there's. We're the employees who were inside, as I walked up past the drive thru area, there was also a sign noting it was only for employees, the drive through windrow also wasn't in use. And there was another door to. It be used, and an area was bored up. Needless to say, this Sonic's has definitely seen better days. Restaurant was quiet inside with no patrons at the time, a employee came from the back and greeted me and took my order. Meal: Cheesy Bacon Sonic Stack combo with no onions and mayo, fries and a soda. After leaving I realized the burger had Mayo on it still, even though I asked for there to be none. Luckily I got extra BBQ for the burger and fries, so I just masked the Mayo with the BBQ sauce. Overall: Confusing currenr setup, with the employee cars parked appears to be patrons being served. Wouldn't definitely avoided parking on the wrong side of the building, just to have to walk around the building to where I'd just been. I didn't know what I was in for when I drove to this Sonic, since I'm not from the area. I can easily state that the one in Hayward is more organized and doesn't skimp on portions--most of the time. When I ordered 2 Fritos Chili Cheese Wraps, they were wrapped in this weird small, rectangular ball, half the size of what it's supposed to be. And I had to wait over 20 minutes for my order to be ready... I saw that the restaurant's stalls were filled with cars, and I thought that was a good sign that the restaurant is busy, but it seems more like a bad sign that the restaurant was incompetently run and orders were fulfilled inefficiently because of disorganization. Those wraps are a result of incompetence. Also, one of the stalls looked pretty broken and in disrepair, owing to the restaurant's lack of upkeep. The Sonic Drive-In is hit or miss. I might say it's mid. The only thing that never disappoints are their milkshakes and freezes: always great. In regards to the food, it's inconsistent. I've tried the Sonic Burger: it's usually good, but at times the patty is cold or bland. I've had the buttery Pretzel: at times warm, delicious and butter coated. At other times, cold, salty and stale. Same with Hot Dogs. Honestly, it's good, but I wouldn't come back if I was very hungry and expected a good fast food meal. Back when it opened, it was so busy the first weeks. Lines would form and the wait would reach an hour I heard. This was because the closest Sonic was around Fairfield, 40 minutes away. As of now, there's never a wait. You can use the drive thru, or their parking spaces, where you can also order. The app is good to get deals and order ahead. Ambiance is boring. Just you and your passengers, and customer service is normal. I've never been inside, so I can't say about the indoor service. I check in probably every 2 months here. read more

I hadn't been to Sonic in so long. When I lived down in San Diego, I lived really close to a SoniIc so I would go every other week or so in the middle of the night for snacks haha. I'm usually a fan of Sonic, but this location was poor quality. I ordered car hop and got their popcorn chicken with bbq sauce and chilli cheese tots. I also got a bag of their pebble ice for a little under $5. Did you know that you can buy Sonic ice and put it in your refrigerator's ice bin so that it can dispense it?! Fun hack! The food was ok but the monitor at the car hop wasn't working, and neither was the credit card terminal. The employee had to take my card and walk around with it to find a card terminal that did work, he also forgot a couple of things. The area was a bit sketch. As I was eating, I was startled when I saw a homeless man come up to my window. If I come back, I'll probably just get drive-thru next time. First off let me start off by saying - this was my first time ever going to Sonic. I went with my husband and two hungry kiddos. I was greeted by Angie - who absolutely had top notch customer service!! She smiled and explained everything about the menu in a way that my brain (and my kids brains) could understand. She was very patient and kind with our kids as well. The food came quickly and was very delicious. Angie delivered it to our table with a smile. All the other staff was nice too - especially Brandon and Luis. So a BIG shout out to this location and their lovely staff! Hats off to the people who hire. Missing Items in Drive Thru I ordered popcorn chicken with a side of Buffalo wing sauce. They charged me $0.30 for the sauce and then forgot to put it in the bag. Great sonic It has two charging stations that are free for EV vehicles. You have to drive past the drive through and they are at the very end by the exit. I've gone to this location multiple times and everyone has always been very nice and the food warm. They also mask up during covid. There is a drive through if your want that or of course the stalls. I've never seen this location too terribly busy but the drive through is popular. read more

CZR hands me a plastic number marker/thing to put on the table. Since the number thing has long ago been broken in half, it will only lay flat.
