This location is in a great area surrounded by other fast food, dessert, and grocery spots. The best part is walking distance from Walsh University if you are a student. One of the best parts of going to Sonic is the ability to order your food on the patio from their kiosk. However, this visit wasn't the case due to both sides of the patio kiosks being down. It was a beautiful spring day and our family was looking forward to ordering our food and sitting on the patio. We actually left, ordered food, and desserts elsewhere. I did a quick mobile order to get a bogo on the footlong coney and met my family elsewhere. It was disappointing the footlong coney was not hot, no utensils or napkins provided. They stopped serving food 2 hours before closing... I stopped by sonic after I got off work tonight since it was one of the only places still open, only to find out when started ordering that their grills are already off so they're not able to make any more food. It was only 10pm and all of the information I'm finding says that they are supposed to be open until midnight. I used to work in food service so I can understand if you're extremely slow and haven't seen a customer in a long time maybe shutting down some of the machines early, but two hours is a bit ridiculous. I agree with the other reviews that say that this location seems to want to go out of business. read more

Without questioning the absolute worst, and consistently worst, sonic ever. Not just sonic but as a business, I think they're trying to go out of business. The service is absolutely horrible you wait forever and then you ask him for an item and they say oh sorry we don't have that. Today there was no one in the business but the employee car. Not one customer. I got up to the drive-in and they said please wait. I waited two minutes before they said go ahead with your order. My cheeseburger was overcooked, cold, with only lettuce as topping. The patty had obviously been previously cooked and just put betweeen two buns. My onion rings were also cold, overcooked and obviously previously cooked. Had to wait to place order even though no other customers at location. Could not eat the food and had to throw away, a waste of $15. Used to be a good drive thru, but it has really declined in food quality and service starting in 2024. I sat at the order screen in the drive through for 5 min before being greeted. There is no line. There are 3 cars parked on the side. Another 5 minutes waiting to pay. Another 7 minutes waiting for the food. This is the reason I stopped coming here and won't be back. It always takes forever. The employee was rude. Clearly didn't want to be there. Other reviews say this place might be trying to go out of business and it's true. Worst fast food experience I have ever had. While waiting in line I placed an online order faster than ordering at the window. Was told it would be 3-3.5 minutes to get my food after finally getting to the window. Waited in total 25 minutes for food and when I got home my order wasn't correct. I had to drive back and go to the employee door to get the rest of the food I paid for and they never offered anything to try and make me happy or to return. read more

where do i begin. my last few experiences at the north canton sonic have been nothing more than unsatisfactory. for starters, the wait for a slushee should not be 15-20 minutes. my friends and i ordered four slushees total, one unicorn dream with no whipped cream or boba, one strawberry, one blue raspberry and another with nerds. by the time we received our slushees, the unicorn dream was practically water with syrup in the bottom and whipped cream. my friend had ordered this drink yesterday, and it had been blue, not the vibrant pink pictured in this review. the customer service... frightful. there was no eye contact, and the drinks sat for minutes on end with no interaction with an employee. now had it been busy, it would have been understandable. three cars left the drive-thru while we sat at the window, waiting for our drinks. there were two cars parked in the stalls when we arrived and nobody at the window by the time we got there. not to mention, we also waited for a response from the speaker where we placed our order prior to the wait at the window. read more

You put in your order by talking to a screen that has the menu while you sit in your car. You can watch them put in your order on the screen. Added a tap water because I didn't want pop, and it turns out they charge 40 cents for tap. I said just take it off, I had enough water leftover from a cup I had just in my car. They didn't remove it and still charged me. I also ordered a milkshake and they defaulted to a more expensive size rather than asking or clarifying what size we wanted. I should have paid better attention. The food was fine, not bad or amazing. Service was pretty quick. read more

I could understand why the manager, Jacob, may hate his life. He's bald and works at Sonic. But that gives him no right to act the way he does. I've seen pessimistic teens work at McDonalds better. I asked for a chocolate Oreo milkshake and was handed basically vanilla ice cream in a cup. $6 I paid- down the drain. Before I could say anything, he slammed the window shut in my face and walked away. No smile, no "have a good day", nothing. Me and my significant other went to get blasts, we ordered a Reese and brownie. Mine the brownie tasted like peanut butter once I got to the end and I have a mild peanut allergy. i refused to come back to this location after i waited an hour for a large cherry limeade and about 10+ times my order was either wrong, old or waited 30+ min. my sister wanted to go get drinks the other night and we said we'd try it one more time. i'm pretty sure there's a new manager (if there is god bless you) bc holy. i have NEVER been so impressed with a sonic before. we got in line, waited 5 min, was the next car in line to pay, they came out to my car in the drive through, cashed me out and gave me my food so i didn't have to wait for the car in front of me to get his order. ended up going back last night and tonight, and never spent more than 5 min in the line! i can't remember what the guys name was that brought my stuff out to me. but everyone there was in such a good mood and so kind. will definitely keep coming back! read more

I went here a couple days ago and it was the worst experience I've had. It took more than 40 minutes to get my order taken. Who schedules a bunch of new employees to work on a Friday night. The place was dead and ordered on line. Ordered a double cheeseburger received one hamburger patty . Ordered 5 piece chicken and didn't even get it. Everything was shoved into one bag making it impossible to check your order before leaving. Drive-Thru experience: It's about to be the year 2024! OMG The restaurant drive-thru at this Sonics location is extremely slow! The girl at 5:15pm working this evening had an attitude as soon as she started talking through the speaker you can't hear her who kept repeating herself for me to speak up!!! Their speaker is super low and I waited 8mins for our food and 15 mins for a Carmel shake. They left our Carmel shake on the counter AFTER they made the shake for 5 mins while I watched them. That is when the manager came up to the window to see what we ordered and he asked if we ordered the cheesecake. Lol He was so confused too! I told him we already have the food and we are waiting for the Carmel shake!!! All of this waiting was unnecessary for a Carmel shake. He had to make us another Carmel shake. This place is chaotic and so disorganized. Seems like they lose customers on a regular because they shrugged it off. I told them they lost 3-4 cars. Cars kept pulling out. Haven't ate sonic in years. The experience is very customer friendly. Take your time decide what you want and then press the button when you're ready to order. Another cool part is you pay right from your car window where you view the menu. Barley any human interaction and yet the food was brought out in a timely manner and was great. Pretty sure we got food poisoning from here. Went a couple of weeks ago for our first trip to sonic. Boyfriend got a burger and shake, I got an asiago chicken club sandwich, fries and a shake.
