Food was good but drive thru mine was so long and the wait time was horrible. When I finally got up to there to place my order, the girl kept messing up. The guy that gave me my order was nice and friendly. They either need more help or to retrain the girl taking the orders. read more

Sonic Drive-In - All-American Dog - Burgers Near Me - Massillon, Ohio

the one worker kept going out to a car to smoke a cart while we were waiting an unacceptable time for our food

Sonic is convenient for a quick bite, but the quality just isn't consistent. The drinks and slushes are usually the best part, with lots of flavor options, but the food can be hit or miss. Burgers and fries often come out lukewarm, and the presentation feels rushed. Service is also slow at times, which defeats the purpose of a drive-in. It's okay if you're just stopping for a cold drink or snack, but not the place I'd go for a full meal. read more

It should be noted that there is a pre-pandemic Sonic and then a post-pandemic. I used to love sonic and the food was good. More recently they have cut their hours and they are just very slow. They do make food fresh when you order, but they are constantly out of items. For example I just did an order ahead order for a chicken wrap, pickle fries and the monthly slushy drink special. They came out once to tell me they didn't have a wrap, so they couldn't make that, but offered to sub it for popcorn chicken. Then when my food was ready they then informed me that the slushy machine was broken and there were no strawberries, so it was essentially just ice cream. I will more than likely not go back anytime soon. read more

Used to enjoy it here but we avoid it now. Can never order in the drive in spots. Half of the outdoor spots are broken and completely torn out. There is never anyone staffed. Service takes forever. I've even been turned away due to short staffed kitchen. Horrible management ..... read more

They've been Slow and have been extremely rude for years- today just marked the last straw. Was waiting for 3 minutes at the drive thru speaker without anyone saying "I'll be with you in a moment" before I spoke up on a whim and said "hey bub?" After they said they'll be with me in a moment; my wife said I shouldn't have said anything. I responded with "well we've been waiting here for 3 minutes I wanted them to know someone's here" and the response I got back was "I have seven orders ahead of you- you're not the only person here!!" Naturally to a stupid and rude response from someone who works there; my language got a bit colorful back. Not only wont we be back- I'm putting them on blast to every local group/messaging board around to stay away from them. They keep up the slow service and stupid comments to their customers; I give them a year till they're closed. read more

Spiro not Piro......it's a shame that both this and the n canton location, probably the same franchisee, have let these locations deteriorate so much.....this isn't the Sonic you see advertised or remember.......Covid really did a number on these two locations or the owner just doesn't care, IMO. read more

Food is okay, understaffed, always long waits, seems to not be clean either, both workers and inside cleaning conditions, please avoid this location if possible. Also get a weird taste I. My drinks here like half the time. Wish I could leave less than a star. read more

They gave us the wrong favor milk shake we ordered the Oreo milkshake but gave us strawberry milkshake. That was weird. But it took 30 minutes to get are milkshake. It is a bad ambiance. read more

Sonic Drive-In - Strawberry milkshake that is supposed to be Oreo milkshake - Burgers Near Me - Massillon, Ohio

This recent visit left me absolutely appalled. As I pulled into the drive-thru, the place reeked of weed. To make matters wors I saw two guys outside one tall and skinny, the other short and hefty not to be mean but they were smoking what I'm pretty sure was crack. After finishing up, they casually walked into the building. The food was good, and the girls there were very nice and mature, but this kind of behavior is completely unacceptable. I will never be coming back to this place again. read more

This place is a joke. ONE single worker inside. Wait time was over a half hour just to get someone to take my order and get my food. All I wanted was a cheeseburger and water. read more

Service is abysmally slow and unresponsive, no matter time of day or how busy they are.

Lukewarm fries, took 50 MINUTES to get out food, and forgot part of our order. I think if i could give this 0 stars i would. The food isnt even that great. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. read more

Sonic has taken a page from the McDonald's book by not having ice cream. The whole purpose is to get shakes with your overpriced burgers. The service was sub par, even by fast food standards. 0/10 would not recommend. read more

Please read all... To the lady that left the unnecessary rating from today, 5/31/22 I would like to comment on your rating.. I am a loyal, frequent customer to the Massillon Sonic and I can't disagree with you more. I am a working professional, work with a diverse group of men and women and can honestly say the staff, including the manager/girl in the green shirt is Nothing but Professional, hardworking, dedicated, delightful group of fine men and women. I happened to be in line while you were there and I was flabbergasted at your rudeness, lack of class how you handled your order that may have not been to your expectations. You got out of your car, walked in to a secured employee only facility to yell and treat the young lady completely disrespectful. I personally think you should be ashamed of yourself for your actions and demeanor that I witnessed this late morning. You could have handled yourself in a better manor instead of losing your control because your order was not accurate. I don't blame the young lady who got upset with you because I heard you yelling at her and saw your demeanor towards her. Personally, I feel you owe her an apology and try to look at her point of view when you attacked her because your order wasn't what you expected. You asked for more tater tots after you ate the first ones. I understand you wanted fresh ones when she was trying to make your order right even after you treated her like she was beneath you. Don't tell me you were that hangry to disrespect the hardworking Sonic staff.. I witnessed how YOU initiated the conversation and continued to get uncontrollable when you stormed out of your car and felt you could just walk in to an employee only establishment like you were better then them. I actually thought about calling the jackson police due to being concerned about the employees safety. You modeled an unprofessional, hostile outburst and are extremely lucky I didn't call the police when you walked in to Terrorize the young staff who everyday work their butts off to try to make every order accurate. I'm truly saddened and again flabbergasted how someone could lose control over their order not being correct. I would suggest you take a look at yourself and your hostility over an inaccurate order. You must have deep issues and I'm sorry if that's the case. Sometimes people need to hear another persons observation and constructive criticism. Not only do I feel sorry for the dedicated, hardworking staff, but I also feel sorry for you that it bothered you that bad to get out of your car and walk in. You can't do that in todays world with all the things that's happening around us. I stayed there to make sure the staff was ok until you left. Seriously, take accountability for how you treated the young girl and understand why she may have reacted the way she did. She was probably scared.. I would've been. You looked and acted unstable. Again, please take this as constructive criticism because a kind heart and understanding goes further then what you did today. Please consider being the bigger person and apologize for your rudeness and try to understand how you made the young lady feel. The line was long, busy time of the day, yet she still tried to make it right with you.. that wasn't enough for you which makes me believe you may have been having a bad day, or just are unstable.. I'm posting what you wrote so the viewers can get another s perspective of the situation. Again, I'm just trying to help you see how you could've handled your order being wrong in a more productive way. read more

The drive through only drive in. Pretty disappointing when you are planning for a drive in experience only to come and have it roped off.

The customer service here is terrible. First, we stopped to sit on the patio, the weather was perfect, and after pressing the button to order and waiting they bluntly announced thru the speaker that the patio was closed and to use the drive-thru. No signs or anything. Next, we went thru the drive-thru and the girl that handed us our food did not speak and never even looked just shoved the food out the window with an impatient shake. When I said thank you the only word she spoke was Yep. read more

Horrible service. Food orders are never accurate and the food is cold. They desperately need to close.

Very good cherry slush. No food. Wonder why people order a meal for 70 people through the drive thru? Took 25 minutes to get a slush. If my truck fit in the parking spaces, I would have pulled over and ordered. Also, the speaker is horrible. Other than that I love the food! read more

Around the beginning of May I ordered one of their newer burgers. It seemed fine. About 18 hours later I was so sick I couldnt even believe it. It was the most sickest day of my life. In all fairness I have had no problems from prior burgers. But this has made me afraid to try them again. read more

We went to get some food from Sonic since nothing was really opened that we wanted and it was bad. We got onion rings that tasted like funnel cake, and my mum isn't good with food that could be cross contaminated. The mozzarella sticks were delish though and so were the drinks. They also were quite rude in the drive in area. So, I do not recommend this Sonic, unless you're hungry. read more

I've hate ate here a lot and nobody has been as good as Brett. When it came to service it was fantastic. He answered all my questions and was really patient with me, he also was very kind and made me feel welcome. read more

In Addition, I was charged twice for my incorrect meal because no one would help the poor girl that seemed to be new at the window with the card processing. The cook actually had to come help her as the manager, girl with long black hair that wouldn't give me her name, was eating a corn dog by her computer watching all of this. I am still calling to try to get the extra charge refunded and no one will answer. Wouldn't you think that a manager would 1) would know the menu? I referred to the item by number and name on the menu and 2) lead and help her team and 3) WORK? read more

My coworkers and I received gift cards to sonic. We decided we would get lunch there and pay with the gift cards. I ordered the food and then had to wait 10 minutes in line with only two cars ahead of me. I hand the cashier my gift cards and tell him to put the rest on my card. He proceeds to only use one gift card and tell me he charged $20 to my card due to them having complications with there system with the other two gift cards. He did not ask if this was okay to do or try to fix the issue with a manager. I just think this is the worse customer service I have ever experienced. What if I did not have those funds on my card, hence using the gift card? Or what if I had used one of my coworkers cards and they weren't okay with charging $20 on it. I have the funds, but it's just the principle that he did it without informing me. Then he proceeds to hand me our items and everything is wrong. Please train your staff better and have them communicate with the customers properly. Absolutely ridiculous read more

Sonic is a better than good place. They mainly serve fun for all food, burgers, hot dogs, great onion rings (best in town). Burgers are fresh everything and not over stuffed with fillers. Found this place and was very pleased to have a sonic. It's my favorite. Swenson is near by and I like them but Sonic is still better. Haters with small minded complaints need to complain to the store to get a replacement product quickly and cheerfully. read more

Food was aight but but the ice cream machine was supposedly broken when asking for a milkshake... I did not know I was at Macdonald's. Overall wonderful establishment. read more

Slushies, great! Fries, gross. Chicken strips, gross and dry and mostly breading. Would only go again for the drinks

The last time I went to sonic I got a milkshake that never melted. It didn't taste right so I only ate about 1/4 of it. The next morning it looked the same as it did the night before. Two days later it looked the same also. I don't know what it was made out of but I swore I'd never go back and have another. But I was wrong because I went back tonight. And got one of their concrete creations. The first third of it was OK. But then I hit all the powdered milk product that it's made out of which was a huge ball in the middle of the cup and it was disgusting. I didn't finish it. Shame on me for going back. read more

The last couple of footlongs we bought had hardley any coney sauce on it. I didn't pay for a hot dog. So don't give me one. Then I spoke with someone from Sonic and they gave the information to the manager, Justin. Justin called me and said if I had a problem just call him. So, when Sonic did it AGAIN, I called for Justin but he wasn't there. I haven't heard from him yet, that was a month ago. read more

Love this sonic! The employees were very nice and helpful! The ice cream is delicious too!
