And some flavors in particular taste more chemical/artificial than natural and homemade (looking at you Raspberry Chocolate). But if you stick with the basics (chocolate, cookies and cream, etc) Bruster's will satisfy at any age.

They handmake the ice cream and you can tell when you have it, it's just different than other places. I usually end up trying something different every time I come since there are so many options- there truly hasn't been one I haven't like yet. And you can taste test if you're having a hard time deciding, which would be understandable. This location is cute- it's where the south Swan Brewing bar used to be so they kept the bar up and refashioned it to work as more of an old school ice cream parlor feel. Another fun part of these ice cream companies- they also have homemade waffle cones, like literally almost double digit flavors, and you can get the famous ice cream burrito or ice cream nachos.
