This place has the WORST customer service. These kids have NO manners and I HATE coming here. Train your employees better.

This Sonic is one of the most incompetent staffed places I've ever been to. EVERY single time we've had a food/ice cream order they've screwed it up or forgotten something. Forget about ever getting Ranch even though cheddar peppers are supposed to come with it. Don't bother asking for the new custard concrete. 2 out of 3 times it's been their crappy regular ice cream charged at concrete price. Hey Rebel Rd. I don't understand how hard it is to plug in your coupons from your mass produced coupon booklet for 2 for $1 corn dogs. I literally went to the drive in menu after I noticed time elapsed was 15minutes after order had been placed. Problem was applying coupon discount to order. So the employee went back in to get managers help. I waited 5minutes and went to the drive through window. Manager asked what the problem was. Really? It takes 15 minutes and still have yet to have the issue resolved over 2 simple corn dogs. read more

I found Dory on the intercom as I repeated my simple order over 5 X as she kept forgetting what I had said. I specifically asked for a Jr. Double Cheeseburger add jalapenos with only 1 slice of cheese. I don't know why they put so much cheese! Mini onion rings and small tea. Girl brings it out and its a Jr. Deluxe CB (not double cb) and medium onion rings. Tea was right. She was very apologetic and just acted clueless when I tried to explain that there was a difference. I don't write negative reviews, but this is the worst sonic on earth!! They tend to mess up orders. On more than one occasion, my order was incorrect. Usually not a big deal. But, how do you mess up a cheese burger... Sonic Kyle knows how, they don't put cheese on it. Don't go there! read more

When this Sonic first opened they were great. Going through the drive through has become very painful. They do not listen and when they repeat the order back it is usually wrong. The shakes are hit and miss. In the drive the last visit they seemed to be doing more playing then paying attention. Having fun at work is great if the work is done. The girl working the window of course got the order wrong initially and then not paying attention gave back the wrong change. When she went to correct it she was unable to count back the change. If this had been the only instance of poor service I wouldn't say much but it isn't. The worse part is the supervisor, Tim called to inquire about my service and to say the least I should have been talking to a wall. I understand why the service is the way it is. Go here all the time because its closest and most convenient but their average rate of accuracy would have to be 1 out of every 10 times. I dont know why I keep on giving this Sonic chances. They have messed up on my orders more then once. My friend and I went there last night. We order the new $5 Boom Box. My friend got the chili cheese dog and I got the cheese burger. We also got tots and two large drinks with extra ice. When we got our order, there was one large drink and one small drink. We were supposed to have two large drinks. Also we told them cheese burger, when we got it there was no cheese. So, the girl took it back and the put a little bit of cold cheese on it. I ate because I didn't want to wast my friend's money but it was gross. We looked over the receipt and show the girl what we order. They are building a new across the high way. I will be going to that one from now on because this one can't seem to getting anything right! read more

I've heard the manager, Tim, is rude and disrespectful to his employees and customers, but witnessed it myself today while getting food through the drive through. Horrible. I'm all about trying to be understanding and respectful, especially being that I've worked customer service type jobs and retail, but this place really takes the cake in terms of being downright rude and ugly for no reason. Don't bother asking about specials such as Half-Price shakes or Dollar Dogs because you'll be interrogated and expected to remember every single detail on the ad, otherwise you'll be punished and charged regular price for a deal that is posted on Sonic's own Facebook. Don't ask about secret drinks such as the "Purple-O" either because you'll be scoffed at as if you for something so offensive and appalling. The only real redeeming quality is the friendly servers, and thank God for that. Don't know if the manager is on a power trip or what but I feel sorry for those kids. read more

Been to this Sonic three times and each time it takes 15 minutes to get an order as simple as a drink and a ice cream cone. Then when asked no one knows why or how. They just constant say sorry every time I visit. This will the last time trying out this crappy location that was convenient. Nothing ever changes with this location. Just slow workers and horrible management. Do not go you will sit and sit and sit and no get your order until you make them aware of it. And it doesn't matter if the location is busy or slow ALWAYS the same pace. read more

Ordered a reeses peanut butter blast instead got a butterfinger blast with a little bit of reeses sprinkled on top. Ordered a turtle pecan master blast which should have had pecans, caramel AND chocolate chips instead got nothing but some pecans sprinkled in vanilla ice cream. And they had NO whip cream and when I asked for some the boy at the window just said no then stammered when he saw my face and said they had none. Completely unprofessional and untrained. Something is just not right with these people. It says on the website that they take mobil payment (Which is the only reason we went to them). So we order our food and we pay with our mobile pay. The guy comes out and tells us our total is blah, we said "no, we paid with mobile pay." So he goes back to talk to the manager. Comes back out and says his manager said "we don't take mobile pay". Yet they took the money off of my card, and then put it back in. I agree with the man saying that are fraudulent, because they were adamant, about me just giving them my debit card. Don't think so, why would I use my debit card when I put a lot of money on a mobile pay card. Needless to say we gave them back their food and drove off. read more

Sonic Happy Hour is one of the better things in life. I normal go to Sonic for drinks or desserts. This location is not bad. Their real fruit slushes are little weak though. More lemon or lime please. I like a little lemon in my sweet tea, but they always put way too much lemon. Their milkshakes and soft serve although not better than Dairy Queen are a better deal and still tasty. read more

The only reason I've returned to this Sonic is its convenience. They couldn't get an order right if their lives depended on it. Perhaps it's the ridiculously poor quality of the sound on the drive thru speakers but "fries" and "tater tots" really don't sound the same. I used to call every time the order was wrong and got my share of free meals due to their consistent errors. Today, the umpteenth time they mistook our order, even my grandson, (the only reason I kept returning) said "We can start going somewhere else. They NEVER get it right." The guy that answered the intercom in the drive thru window took an excessive amount of time before asking what I would like to order. When he finally did acknowledge my presence he was extremely rude. I did not appreciate that at all. When I pulled up to the window, the first young lady wasn't very friendly either. I do have to say the second young lady was polite and did thank me. Based on my experience with the first two people, I will have second thoughts about patronizing this establishment in the future. 75% Of the time when I order something with Bacon, my bacon is missing! And always when I order a meal for the whole family there is always something missing from the bag, even though it is on the ticket. The carhops are pretty friendly, too bad the cook and the bagger aren't paying attention. read more

This is one of the worst experiences I have had at a Sonic. I'm not sure if they were understaffed for a Sunday early afternoon or just unorganized. First if all you need a hearing aid and a translator just to communicate with someone to make an order. But it doesn't really mater because your order will be wrong anyway. Great neighborhood location and fast, friendly staff. Even though Sonic is perpetually staffed by very young people I have found the service and the product to be consistently good. This location also has a core staff of really kind and sweet young ladies who make coming here a pleasure for my wife and me. Hiring the right people is the key to having a great staff in this business, and the Sonic in Kyle has done just that. read more

This location will charge you for lime if you order tea. Really? Buda has never charged me for lime even if i didnt irder tea. Orders are rarely correct. Tim, the manager should probably be inside supervising staff instead of standing outside smoking. Lady in the mornings is very nice. My family has frequented this Sonic location on a regular basis since it opened but I have decided to stop giving them my business until they address issues with their management staff. In the past three months I have had two negative experiences with the on-duty manager (same gentleman both times). The first time, I was attempting to use a coupon that was sent to me BY SONIC when I registered a gift card for one of my children. He came up to my car window in the drive through and in front of all the other waiting customers questioned me loudly and at length about the validity of my coupon. The second time, I was simply asking about an inconsistency in pricing I had noticed between their posted menu and the actual charge that was ringing up. Again, he came out to speak with me and made loud comments like, "What's your point?", and, "Are you just looking for something cheap?" I told him that I was't interested in continuing our conversation and began to drive away but he wouldn't remove his hand from my car and kept trying to argue with me. It was disturbing how he chose to handle the situation so I will not be returning. read more

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. The past two times I have been there we ordered shakes (3 last time and 2 just now) and it took over 15 minutes for them to get out. I actually went in there to see wtf was taking so long for a SHAKE. They claimed that the order "disappeared" when they re-entered it into the system (the girl had no idea what we asked for and charged us more than we should have been) which is total BS. The order didn't vanish, this location just freaking sucks. So at the end, they gave us spoons only (for a shake! W.T.F.) So we went to the drive thru to ask for a straw and the manager comes out asking what we needed. Her attitude was just...ugh. So I was pissed (also had 2 screaming babies in the car) and told her I didn't even want my shake anymore, I just want a refund. She said okay, took the shake (really??) and started to walk away, came back, and actually asked my husband if he still wanted his AND TOOK HIS TOO WHEN HE SAID "i guess not...". Finally got the refund but seriously, what establishment doesn't even let you keep the item that THEY effed up on. Ugh. So pissed. And so never, ever going there again. Ever. read more
