Came through the drive-thru for a cherry limeade Crush. What a wonderful cure-all drink. In this case the only cure I was seeking was for my Hunger and sweet tooth. The drive-through attendant apologized for the delay apparently it had been more than five minutes that I was waiting but it didn't seem like that big a deal and 2 minutes later I was driving away with my drink and a perfectly cooked double jalapeno cheeseburger with grilled onions. The entire meal including the french fries we're done are expectations and they even provided for jalapenos and I was accustomed to. Fire! So after reading a few of the reviews, there is a sympathetic one star added to mine but I like to focus on the quality of the food as the priority for me eating at a restaurant of any type including in this case it chain fast food. And the quality exceeded that of a typical burger at most other burger joints. I came by at lunchtime the staff was very friendly and as quick as they could be apparently. This is probably the third time in a row that we've gone and something wasn't working. We ordered on the app, which is what is encouraged, and we get there and you can't park in one of the bays, it's drive thru only. Okay, so we go thru the drive thru and the machine that makes the Blasts isn't working.... again. No one there knows how to do a refund an online, so they give us the number to the franchise owner. Was then told we had to send an email to corporate since it was sold through the app. Franchise owner didn't know how to do the refund and didn't seem interested in the fact that his equipment is down, etc. Told him we may not come back and he didn't sound like he cared. There should be a way to adjust the online ordering function for a certain location of equipment is down. It was a waste or time, money and gas. read more

We arrived at the drive thru at 9:40 when we asked for the double bacon cheeseburger, the girl on the other end told us "we close in 20 minutes so we aren't doing bacon" although google & the receipt say open until 12am! They were extremely rude, interrupting us while we ordered, food was all cold, our mozzarella sticks were hard in the middle, cheese on burgers wasn't melted, and burgers were smashed. This place is all hype for below average food and below average service. We had never been to a Sonic before, so we did not realize there was no indoor dining area. All of the car spots were taken, and it was raining, but we were lucky enough to find a dry seat outside. Ordering was difficult, but luckily an employee cut in front of us to order his food, so we were able to learn how to order that way. My boyfriend got the Supersonic Double Bacon Cheeseburger Meal with Fries and a Drink, and I got the 3 Piece Chicken Tender Meal with Tater Tots and An Onion Ring. Ordering was a total hassle, as this place is on a busy street and it is very loud, and you literally have to repeat everything multiple times because every response from the employee on the headset is "what? can you repeat that?" Food came out quick. My order was missing the onion ring that was advertised as part of the meal. The chicken was terrible, chewy and bland. The tater tots were cold and soggy, and a very small portion. My boyfriends burger was so sad - McDonalds serves better looking food. Also, no refills on soda. I was going to order a shake to go, cause I've heard raving reviews about them, but watching the line grow as people struggled to order made me change my mind. Nothing is worth coming back here for, all bad. Since this place is new and and a lot of us aren't used to this place, it would be helpful having an employee outside to help learn the way it works. Right from the start, this location is outmoded. It's too small for the area, and is perpetually slammed. At the time of our visit, we pressed the red button on the speaker and waited over 5 minutes before anyone answered. Then after ordering, the system couldn't take cards and we had to hand over our credit card to them to take inside to run. That is scary as hell, especially in This age of credit card theft. (Apparently the card readers outside aren't working yet). The service is SLOW. I can't emphasize that enough. The employees act as if that honestly don't care about ANYTHING. I've yet to see one smile. I also see employees standing around in the building, and a table full of them on the patio. I, too, am tired of waiting for the elusive onion rings. I expressed my frustration one time about a month ago and manager Kim gave me a card entitling me to a free medium order of onion rings. Well, that was nice but if they never have them.....kinda useless. I've visited about 6 times in the past 2 months or so, at different times and different days (weekdays, weekends, mid day, dinner). Never available. Today was the last straw. Of course the answer was no to onion rings today. So instead I ordered a chicken sandwich and 2 shakes. After asking the ounces in each size, I then had to repeat my order of 2 shakes (1 small Oreo espresso and 1 medium espresso) twice, and when she gave me the total due with a sandwich, I asked if that included 2 shakes, because it was only $9. She said "no" so I repeated my order AGAIN. So of course when I receive the 2 shakes at the window I asked if the small one was Oreo because it didn't look like it. The answer was no. I said forget it, I'll take what I have and never come back. I am done with this place. *sigh* Avoid. The people are nice enough here but the follow through is terrible. New restaurant. Credit card machine was not working. They had to take card somewhere else to run it. We went in on Thursday. We had the chicken strips with Texas toast, tots and 1 onion ring. #1 burger with lettuce tomatoes and onion, a #1 combo as well with choice of Tots or fries. The hamburgers were very dry. The chicken strips were good as were the tots. The Texas toast and fries were soggy. The chicken strip combo was missing the 1 fried onion ring. When asked about the missing onion ring the server said they ran out. When asked if they were going to substitute the missing fried onion ring the reply was, "no it was just one onion ring". This is a new restaurant and hate to give poor reviews. They just seemed ill prepared for business and missing some basic ability to trouble shoot. Yes you can run out of popular food, why not automatically offer a few more fries or tots? Why does the customer have to be missing some of their food or even inquire where the missing menu item is? We've been to this location two times in the past few weeks, first experience was melted shakes with no whip cream and wrong flavors. Second was tonight, a hot dog and two limeades, both limeades were just sprite with flavoring, the ocean water i initially ordered was changed because they were out of a flavor, we have sonics back in new mexico that me and my wife have been to on multiple occasions at peak business hours with no problems, this location is doing something wrong to be out of things every visit and making food at such a lower level. This location is a hit or miss. When it first opened, I think it struggled with the overwhelming demand. The physical location isn't the best when there are more than like 10 cars at a time. I wish they had more stalls, but it's not something they can change. Now that they've had time to settle, it is quicker to get my food and I don't mind the little wait times in between. I've never had a bad experience with the staff members but the food can sometimes come out cold. This location is close to me and I hesitate on ordering food from here because of my past experiences but I will usually swing by to order a drink on my way home. However, the ocean water isn't very consistent in taste either. The main reason why I keep coming back is because they have an employee named Anthony who has been the most kind and respectful worker at any food service place I've ever been to. There is a terrible lack of management care for true customer service and or accountability when things go wrong. No apologies and no "let me make this right and here's something for the your trouble". In fact at my last encounter with 3 times of having to ask for a mistake to be corrected I actually got a disgusted look by the manager as she handed off my replacement and walked away. I love the food. My favorite is the supersonic breakfast burrito. I also use uber eats to order from Sonic. While the food has bern very good, the fact I can't get information why they have omitted the breakfast burritos from their uber eats menu while including the breakfast toaster has led to some intense frustrations. The " manager " Melissa more or less refused to contact the owner of the franchise to help alleviate this dilemma and also didn't really know who dealt with the uber eats side of the business. She put all the weight of the situation on the owner but couldbt ( or just wouldn't )put me in touch with the owner. I am beyond frustrated that a simple situation has turned into months of aggravation. We used the Sonic App to order from this location. We arrived and pulled into a stall per the apps instructions. We put in the stall number and the app confirms we have arrived. Then, nothing for about 15 minutes. We push the call button and the girl that comes over the speaker shuts us down immediately by saying that only drive-thru is open. We get in a very long line for the drive-thru and it's crawling. I decide to call them inside to confirm that they have my order as the app has now refreshed and there is no active order. They let me know they are very short staffed but they did have my order. Everything was cold. We had been there so long that we didn't feel like staying any longer to seek better quality food.
