Jeremy apologized for the issue I had prior. DoorDash already reimbursed the last problem. As part of the community we decided to support and order via DoorDash a couple more times. Even though we can go to several ice cream establishments including the cold stone in Covington. However, tonight was the last time. I ordered a peanut butter perfection for myself and create my own for my husband. Basically a rocky road. He hasn't eaten his yet. It's still in the freezer. I started eating mine, then mixed in the middle I almost ate a wisemini sorbent silica gel. How it got there without them noticing who knows. I would've been very ill even if it says harmless...If not swallowed. I'm just glad it wasn't a child who swallowed it. Do better! read more

For a small, I wasn't expecting to pay almost $8 but it's okay. Tonight we decided to get a sweet treat and decided to get Our Strawberry Blonde and The Mint Chocolate chip... The service by the cashier was GREAT, she was amazing. The other 2 girls that helped looked so annoyed. We get it's 15 mins before closing but like idk don't show it so hard on your face and make side comments. I mean the ice cream pics shows... our ice cream had it spilling on the side and was not mixed great at all. There was huge chunks of strawberry (a whole one) and the brownie in mine was not chopped up. Regardless, if still tasted good but just wanted to put my honest review on it. read more

I'm very disappointed with the hygiene standards at the Cold Stone at Kent Station. The employee preparing my mom's ice cream was not wearing gloves and then handled money with the same bare hands before touching food again. This is a basic food-safety violation and honestly unacceptable. It made me question whether gloves or proper handwashing are used at all at this location. Management really needs to step in and correct this immediately. read more

I ordered a "love it - peanut butter cup perfection add brownie into a waffle bowl". Yuliya takes the order and makes it, then she scoops 2/3 of what she made into the waffle bowl, hands it to me, and then proceeds to start throwing away the other 1/3 of my order. I politely said, "can I please have the rest of my ice cream?" And she said that she will have to charge me for a gotta-have-it size. Bro... what the actual f? I paid to add the brownie, which increased the amount. Why would I then lose a third of my order? So I said ok, and then paid for the brownie and for an increased size, gotta-have-it. Cold stone has always been my favorite dessert, but... why would you do this? You'd rather throw away food than give it to the customer who you made it for? It makes no sense and it's aggravating to have experienced this. read more

We stop by during the Summer Concerts at Kent Station on Wednesday between July and April. There is always a table outside the store giving out coupons if you spin the wheel. And there is a photo booth inside the store that is free to everyone! The inside is a bit dirty/sticky, especially the top of the fridge where they put the ice cream. The servers are mostly teenagers, so most of them are friendly. Are they supposed to sing when they get tips? The best coupon deal is a Buy One Get One coupon for any of the Signature Creation items. Coffee Lovers Only is my go-to, and anything with cheesecake ice cream. And don't miss out on the ice cream cake, A Cheesecake Called Desire is my favorite. read more

Upon arrival, the first thing I noticed was the amount of staff working. While there was a line wrapping the store, the employees behind the counter were chatting with one another and none of them were wearing gloves when serving customers. I understand it can get busy, but it should not have been over 45 minutes to get a scoop of ice cream. Very disappointing. read more

I love Cold Stone. Fond memories of coming here as a kid, and the ice cream is still delicious. The gal who chopped/mixed my mix-ins did a nice job and it made a very nice culmination of sweet goodness. Store was clean and well kept. read more

Second time my boyfriend has ordered a nutter butter ice cream add brownie add nutter butter and they keep adding mango boba. It's never selected, it's been ordered from both of our accounts. Popped in here on a hot summer afternoon as it sounded so delicious to have an ice cream! Doesn't ice cream always sound better in the summertime? The staff were so nice and kind and handle the demanding customers with grace. I got to give it to them as most kids working in retail and especially in the restaurant industry these days are not very good. They are what are driving my review to be three stars. The place could have been much cleaner and the waffle cones and bowls were very stale which was sad. You would think in a location as busy as this they would be fresh. read more

No complaints about this location! I was about to go to the Covington location, but one look at their food rating and I opted to try another store - downtown Kent, it is! I very, very rarely eat ice cream, but my b-day is close enough to valentine's day that I like to get myself one of the little cakes. They were clearly set up to promote social distancing, along with hand sanitizer. When I went in there was only one other person, and since I wanted the case it was super easy pickings. I didn't see a mini cake like I wanted, but I did find cupcakes and cookie sandwiches!! After much debate, I went with the sandwiches since there are 4 different flavours! All of them were really good, the cookies were definitely made fresh. As an added bonus, I found that splitting them in half was plenty so I basically got 8 cookies. Based on the other reviews, it looks like one of the biggest problems here is customer service. No complaints on my end, the employee was friendly and was able to quickly ring me up and send me on my way. read more

The cake did not have very good flavor. You're better off going to Dairy Queen for their ice cream cake way better.

I have not had Cold Stone in quite some time. My previous experience was not stellar and now I remember why I avoid this place. Firstly, when you walk into this location, there's a funky smell to the store. Then when you look at the scattered items all over their back counter, it really makes you wonder how they received an excellent health rating. In the end, the ice cream was just a mushed up sloppy mess. Hardly worth the money or aggravation. Hard pass for me! read more

Ice cream was on point. But how can you go wrong with Cold Stone? The gal that served us was obviously having a bad night. I think she was Overwhelmed with post mates or whatever delivery orders. The ice cream is fine. It's cold stone you know what you are getting. The single star is for getting what is expected. The additional star is for the employees who are working hard and doing an excellent job. My primary issue is for the owners of the establishment or the building owners for forcing an environment in which these workers are working during a heat wave WITHOUT AC. The employees are doing their best to serve patrons in awful heat. The freezers are blowing out hot air as well. Furthermore ice cream is melting because the freezers cannot keep cold in the heat. Having the workers serve in this condition is deplorable. Get these people AC please! read more

I walked in and simply ordered chocolate ice cream with sprinkles and expressly stated I had a severe anaphylactic reaction to peanuts. Once I got home and began to eat, I realized the employee had placed peanut butter, a rather large amount into my ice cream. This caused me to receive medical treatment and ambulance services. If you have allergies, stay far away. read more

Hannah at the Kent station location is horrible and needs to go through some customer service training. I've worked in costumer service for awhile and definitely know good service when I see it. She definitely isn't it. My boyfriend and I went in today around 6 pm and it was dead, aside from someone in the bathroom. When we walked in, Hannah completely ignored us. Didn't say "hi welcome in" or anything. Barely acknowledged us until I started looking at her and then finally she said she had a costumer in the bathroom who she was helping and couldn't service us right then. Fine. When we were able to order, we both ordered love it sized shakes. I ordered first, then my boyfriend. She apparently gave me the last love it sized lid and couldn't give my boyfriend one. She informed us we could go to Jamba Juice and ask for a cup or lid... super professional. Then my boyfriend, who isn't getting paid to problem solve for her, asked for the lid they put on the cups for ice cream. She fills his cup half way and puts the lid on upside down..... like I know you don't have to be a rocket scientist to work at cold stone but you should at least have an elementary education. Hannah needs to get it together. Besides that she also didn't offer my free ads ins for my shake but she conveniently offered it to my boyfriend. I like cold stones but they need to amp their costumer service up. I had to beg my bf to even take me. He wanted DQ but I said cold stone was better. Way to make me look bad hannah. read more

I purchased a birthday cake via online but when I went into the store, the employee had no idea what I was talking about. I showed her my receipt and then, she was able to make my order. I'm giving this one rating because the employee apologized. I have yet to taste the cake but the presentation of the cake itself is horrible. It is messy and the green frosting is everywhere. Not to mention, there was a huge gap on the bottom of the cake? I'm assuming they forgot to frost that area. I would not recommend buying your cakes here. The picture uploaded is exactly how the cake looked like when I left the store. If I wasn't in a rush, I would've complained about the cake and asked for a refund. read more

Ice cream is good but it's so rich I can instantly regret eating it. Not anyone's fault but mine I guess. The cone dipped in chocolate doesn't taste right. Kinda artificial or stale taste. Service is good. Ambiance is just like any other ice cream store. read more

Great new chocolate dipped strawberry ice cream. They had two folks working so it didn't take long for the four of us to get our ice cream

I really like this place. I'm addicted to cake batter ice cream, so it makes it even harder that they're so close by. You can even buy a tub of whatever your favorite flavor is and take it home, which is so dangerous. About 80% of the time, the employees are friendly and welcoming. The other part of the time, they are a little more withdrawn, but never rude or hostile to me. I appreciate how they put up with so many people at a time, especially since this includes large groups, families, etc. I know I couldn't do their job! Check them out if you're ever in the area, their milkshakes are great! read more

Used to work here and at the Covington store (owner owns both stores). Ice cream's okay and the waffle cones/bowls are good if made the same day bought; management isn't attentive, so consequently workers didn't really care when I worked there but were given lots of freedom. Lots of flies and other bugs in the store (sometimes in the ice cream too). Brownies are a hit-or-miss; we had to use up all the brownies before we cut up more so sometimes they were hard and stale and/or cut way too small. Chairs and tables were rickety. We were always out of some type of mix-in. P.S. towards another reviewer, management told us to ask customers if they wanted the Love It or Gotta Have It size. We were never to ask if you wanted the Like It because the Like It is cheapest and we're supposed to be making a profit. If you never mention it, some people don't even think about it. We were also told to tell customers if they got a Like It, "Are you sure you don't want the Love It? It's only 50 cents more." Trust me, the workers do not care enough to take your body size into consideration when asking you what you want. read more

Best ice cream place ever. And I always have a habit of buying the large size and never finishing it. I always get the waffle bowl cone I jus like eating it by itself. They use to sing before when customers tip but I guess not anymore. read more

We usually go to the one in Federal Way or Tukwila. But tried this one because it's a little closer to home since we live in Des Moines. The ice cream selection was not the same as the others. I tried three flavors: French vanilla, skinny vanilla, and coffee before deciding that I wanted a mix of chocolate and banana. I asked for 25% chocolate and 75% banana. The guy had to repeat my request because he wanted to make sure he heard it correctly. Hahaa. I had roasted almonds added in my ice cream mixture and it was so tasty! The almonds were really fresh! MmMm...ice cream for dinner. I almost forgot that the workers sing when you contribute to the tip canister. Heigh-ho, heigh-ho~ we thank you for the song~ :) read more

Brittany is super helpful and kind. Cold stone ice cream is always top notch, but a great staff really makes this location with the stop.

Cookie dough tasted like melted cardboard. First time here and I saw a picture of cookie dough and it had toppings so I told the lady that's what I wanted. Turns out all I get is ice cream and have to ask for toppings. DONT SHOW PICTURES OF ITEMS IF THATS NOT WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO GET! read more

Great customer service. I wasn't sure what flavor to get so she gave me samples to try. Ended up with the coffee one it was pretty good.

Cold Stone has been around for a while, so the novelty has worn off for myself, but this is definitely a place to take anyone with a craving for sugary ice cream goodness. This location has always been a good experience for me, but it has been backed up before making the wait a bit long. It seems that the ice cream business is not good enough to keep two people working all the time, but I'm sure we will have ice cream bots before long to resolve this issue. This location is in the heart of a shopping area, so they do have a pretty consistent crowd. If it is too busy for you though, you can take a lap of shopping to get a better opportunity. The flavors are all what you make, and their selection of toppings is always well stocked. If you're not familiar with Cold Stone, they fold in everything on a cold slab, so you get some really fancy looking ice cream with this pretty simple process. If you're a fan of sugar, you will be satisfied here. read more
