What is happening to our favorite fast food places? I can look past the under staffing, the reduced hours, and using apps to speed service up and reduce ordering errors, but SONIC, where do you get off on serving 9 tater tots, a light drizzle of chili and a hint of cheese for $4.79 ? That is .69 for each tot after tax and tip. $8.00 for an icecream shake. We drove up during the lunch rush and the place was a ghost town. It's probably time to rethink the pricing structure or offer a better value on portion size. read more

I come to this Sonic pretty regularly and it's never really that fast but today I had my worst experience to date. I waited for my order for 25 minutes before I called the speaker again to ask how long it would be. The employee was very short and just said "it'll be out soon." No apology or anything. Then I finally got my food and unwrap my burger and this is what I get- completely smashed and the buns falling off. My tots were cold and soggy as if someone had bagged the order and then it was just left on the counter and no one brought it out to me. I could've overlooked the wait if the food was hot and fresh when I got it or if the employees had shown one ounce of an apology for my wait. read more

Stopped by this sonic location today for a quick lunch and noticed we would get 1/2 price drinks for using the app. So obviously we did so! Second time recently that I have tried their boneless wings and was very disappointed. They were very dry and tough and appeared to have been reheated instead of made fresh. The price of their boneless wings is comparable to BWW and other fast food wing restaurants but the quality is definitely subpar. Service was quick, but at the cost of quality. read more

Sonics Drive-ins are Sonics. This one is a fairly typical Sonic. The employees usually talk pretty fast, so I have enjoyed stopping to eat here more, since I discovered their app. It fast and easy, plus you get deals. read more

Customer service and attitude! During the lunch hour my order was incorrect and upon "the fix" the wrong burger was brought out. The staff was nice and actually "ran" out to bring me the food, so after noticing it was wrong I requested to speak to the manager. An employee came out and introduced himself (Joe The Manager). I explained the situation and without any excuses Joe apologized and personally brought me the correct food. I can't trash the staff or service, for mistakes and broken communication are bound to happen. I will "uplift" and promote service on all levels when it's warranted. Joe's leadership, demeanor, attitude saved a customer and provided a valuable demonstration for the staff. Feeling "valued" as a customer I must commend Joe and his Sonic Staff. I usually love sonic, but went to this location and was not happy at all. First their car hop stalls were closed, so I had to go through drive thru, so I couldn't use my app. Then the person taking my order was very short with me and didn't even read my order back or even ask me what kind of drink I wanted, I had to tell her that I didn't want soda I wanted lemonade. Then I pull up to the window and I wait for about 5 minutes (with a line behind me) before anyone opens the window. Just says my total and hands me food, no customer service at all. I drive off and go home and when we go to open the food up, realized that they messed up the order. My wacky pack hamburger (that I asked for no mustard or cheese) had both of those on it. And my burger was so rubbery, I'm guessing the patty was sitting there for a while (also had no sauce on it at all) and my corn dog was so burnt on the end....Never going back! Went thru the drive thru about 1pm. Ordered 2 kids meals and 2 adult meals. Got home and one kids meals was missing the chicken strips. We didn't get the onion rings or french fries for the adult meals. Called to let them know and they offered to mail me gift certificates. That doesn't help me now though does it.? Excellent service here, these people care and it shows. This Sonic is one of the few fast food places where the food looks like the picture (!) and it is GOOD. Try the onion rings - they rock. Sonic has always had very quick response to the call buttons for us, and this Sonic is no different. We had our order in within two minutes of arriving at the restaurant. Antonio was our carhop, and he was the most friendly and engaging Sonic employee my wife and I have encountered. He was funny and didn't act like he was in too big of a hurry to make sure we were taken care of. That's the kind of employee you want working for you.
