While always a bit of a shock for a Louisiana boy, I have started getting used to this with all of my travel. It is just so much more convenient to buy booze with your steaks but I digress. Booze Brothers is located across from Hart's grocery store. Stock up there then come here. It is a smaller store but Eureka is a small town. There is a decent selection of hard liquor but the bourbon selection was somewhat sparse. They did have things like WT 101, Woodford, Bulleit, etc. They did have a pretty good selction of beer, including several different IPAs. I picked up what I needed and rolled out.

WOW is right... That…read morewas the first thought that came to my mind when I walked in to this megastore. It's more than a liquor store; it's like a liquor warehouse. Or at least a liquor depot. On a desolate, dry road that meanders through alcohol-less counties for miles and miles, this is an oasis- a sight for sapless eyes. This is the first spot where one can purchase alcohol, heading north from Russellville, nearly 100 miles. It's probably for the best though, as no one should be drinking and driving whilst going through the winding, scenic 7 byway through the Ozarks. The selection here is vast, and the prices are low. My barometer is always the 1.75ml of Seagrams 7- here it was $20.95, which is about as cheap as it gets. They have selections from the "toppest shelf" liquor, down to the bottom. And countless beer reach-ins, with a healthy selection of micros and local brews. If I lived in the vicinity, this would definitely be my go-to spot.

They have a vast array of wines, and even more liquor- all shapes & sizes (but more importantly as cheap as Ive seen them come). Plus a few rare single-malts, and aged bourbons. Then there's the beer- 6 coolers full. 30-pack of PBR was $15; I wished i was that thirsty. I chose a 6-pack, local microbrew pale ale for $7. There were numerous other interesting selections available, but I had already spent entirely too much time staring at alcohol. They have kegs. They also sell gas, if you're into the hard stuff.
