This store is wonderful. A variety of fresh spices and what I wanted...a 2 pound roll of butter. In TN it's $7, Branson was $12. I picked jams and a Pecan Caramel Apple Butter. It sounds great. Hubs got a steak rub, smells heavenly. All products aren't Amish made, but what I got was. Nice people the store. Enjoyed it very much. read more

What a Scam! They are misrepresenting and abusing the Amish name to cheat people with sub-quality products and they aren't even AMISH!! The Jams, Jellies, cheese and food products are very, very low quality and an absolute JOKE! There's no flavor, just water, sugar and coloring in the jams, and the Cheese has the same diluted taste and wax textures. These people are scamming the country off the good name of Amish people, and they should be sued for false advertising! Wow! This place has it all and a little bit more! The place is charming and the selections are amazing. The prices are reasonable and the staff was extremely helpful and cheerful. They also have a great selection of sugar free treats that I found to taste great. If you want any flavor of butters or syrups, they had it and every different one we got has been absolutely amazing. There is a great photo op out front with a horse drawn buggy. read more

It's still a pretty good place. We've been going here for years off and on. The staff is friendly and helpful and they have a lot of things to look at. It's one of those places where you go if you have a specific need. I can't see shopping here every single day. I don't think they have quite as much hand done or really Amish things as they used to. read more

Very cute country store. If you're a cook or a baker, this is a great place to find bulk spices and cooking supplies. Also, oodles of bulk candy and dried fruit for those with a sweet tooth. They also have a back room with lots of handcrafted Amish furniture. I will definitely return the next time I'm in Branson. Had a few Amish products but mostly non. Excellent selection of spices. No greeting coming in the door. Probably would not recommend this particular store. I have been to many Amish stores that are more in tune with the Amish. read more

I am torn about my review of the Amish Country Store. They have a large variety of canned goods (I typically buy their hot salsas and their jellies). Only a few times have I purchased their bulk spices and all in one soups. I have enjoyed their products but in my opinion I feel I am an interruption. I was unable to get someone to help me answer questions this last time I visited. Overall, just not very friendly or customer service oriented. When I left this last time I made a promise to myself that I would just leave them off my shopping list when we go to Branson in the future. read more

Every time my family and I make a trip to Branson from Texas, we have to stop by the Amish Country Store. Like another reviewer had said, it's obvious that not all the products are "Amish" products. But you can ask and the workers will tell you what is and what isn't. We always stop by and pick up some jams, jellies, and hot sauces. And what ever else may pique our interest while we're walking the aisles. Highly recommend stopping by. read more

The store has nothing to do with being "Amish" . Just another gimmick to separate hard earned cash from unsuspecting tourists. It does have lots of bulk packed spices, dips, herbs, etc. Also many varieties of jellies and pickled items. I think it's a hoax! They are just using the Amish name to try to bring people in. Come on people, look around! It is regular food from regular grocery stores and markets that have different labels stating they are Amish! Who cares if the people who work and own this business are not Amish!!!. We visit this store every time we are in Branson, most of the time we go directly there before we check into our hotel, and again before we leave town. Every time we visit they are packed out with customers, you can barely get down the aisles, so don't take it so personal if they can't stop and chat with you. We go for all the wonderful products, but if we are lucky, we get to see Matthew, who is a great guy, and very knowledgeable about the merchandise. Please don't be so nasty with your reviews, this is a great place to shop, and you can't get a lot of the items in your local grocery store. Was excited when I first entered. Large selection of products to choose from. Saw no one that appeared to be an employee, then turned the corner and saw a man stocking the shelves. He looked at me and said nothing. I then MADE him grunt, with a "good morning". Then as wandering around contemplating purchases not one employee asked if we were finding things all right or may we help you. A gentlemen came out of a side room and opened a cooler. I asked him if he worked there. He said yes. I then told him no one had spoken or asked us if they could help since we walked into the store. He said (get ready for this) "most of the time when we do they don't speak back". Blame the customer??? Horrible customer service. None what so ever actually. We left very disappointed and won't recommend anyone shop there. And as previously stated they aren't even Amish!!! read more
