I am not even sure if they have a front door because I have always gone in through the back door -- which makes the name even better. I love the atmosphere, the artwork, and the little outdoor sitting area. I have not sat outside yet, but it looks like such a nice spot. It is a family-owned business, and you can really feel that when you walk in. The son who is usually there is awesome. He knows history, he knows food, and he is just a cool person to talk to. I have usually seen him and his dad working, and I have only met the mom once, but she was super sweet. They seem like a very hardworking family that deserves more recognition. The food is amazing. They have fresh sourdough, freshly sliced meats, and everything is assembled right in front of you. Their soups are also so good, and I love the way they plate everything.
