The variety of groceries and household materials is great. The automotive department is well stocked. I've had some problems with the oil change service awhile back. They seem to have improved this of late, customer service has improved, plus I can actually make oil change appointments on the Walmart app. Not sure if that's strictly for Walmart Plus enrollees or if it's available to anyone. I have Walmart plus, it's great, nice to compare their prices and fees to Amazon for a change. And the Walmart Plus membership includes Paramount Plus streaming on your devices. I believe I have the discount fee for Walmart Plus due to my government subsistence program membership. read more

The worst experience I have ever had. Dirty, clothes everywhere. Racks bare. We came to get my grandson shorts for our stay here. It's summer and tourist I'm sure are expected. You would think you would hire more employees to handle the crowd. This has gone total self checkout! Line was all the way down the store. Unorganized placement and you just stand there waiting for one to grab. A real NIGHTMARE for older customers. This was our first time forced to use self checkout. I would never shop for groceries here. If only a few non refrigerated items.....maybe. But there is a nice grocery store next door that I bet help you check out. Located right in the middle of Branson's strip, this Wal-Mart is not a "Supercenter". It has all the clothing and pet stuff and a pharmacy and tires and all the usual Wal-Mart departments at Wal-Mart prices, with the exception of the full grocery section. They do have a couple of aisle of groceries, but it's not really enough to do a full shop. That's because this is one of the oldest stores in the chain, store number 32 (out of the current more than 3500!). Still, I have no doubt that it perfectly fills the needs of the Branson community and the many people that visit this tourist destination. Parking is decent and getting in and out is easy enough for cars. I think it might be slightly more difficult for a full size motor home to negotiate. Bonus: There is a Ruby Tuesday's next door with free-wifi that "leaks" into the store. read more

This is a small Walmart compared to other Walmarts and Walmart Supercenters. Aisles are narrow. However I was pleasantly surprised to find every item on my shopping list (electronics, beauty products, vitamins, orthotics. Etc). I never had that happen before. Even found stuff I had been looking for previously but never could find. They even had Baileys Irish cream! Staff were friendly when I asked for help. Worst Walmart ever! This is a very busy Walmart right in the middle of the busiest tourist area in Branson. Everything was picked over so much on a Saturday afternoon that it actually resembled a store going out of business. Tons of empty spots on every shelf and rack. The place was really dirty as well and they are 100% self checkout. We first went to a line that was out of bags and when I told an employee about it, he said they were out of bags in the back. Unbelievable! Decided to buy only a few things here and then go next door to Price Chopper for the rest of the things we needed. read more

Farmerville, La. Walmart, you rock. You may not have as large an inventory as some of your sister stores, but your customer service sets you far above the competition. I can't tell you the last time that a Walmart employee (Ruston) smiled, welcomed me to the store, or actually tried to help me find an Item even in another department. In Ruston, three employees ignored me until I asked about an item at which time, they told me that they didn't know where I should look and returned to their discussion about what they were going to do after work and how soon they could take a break. In contrast, the Farmerville cashiers act like they like their jobs and are not annoyed to be waiting on me. If all of the Walmart stores emulated the Farmerville store, Walmart could increase sales and improve its bottom line. read more

This Walmart is your typical Walmart, this location is very busy! They do try to keep things in stock and as clean as possible. The only thing that creeped me out was the "you are being recorded" when I went to get a razor. I'm from the Chicago land area and we don't even have that insane security in the razor isle. read more

Absolutely horrible experience doing an online grocery pickup order. I placed the order one week in advance, only to have the order cancelled three times on me day-of. Customer service says there's nothing they can do about it. This leaves me without all my groceries for a party. I will never be ordering groceries from Walmart again, and I will be reminding all of my friends of the lack of reliability with choosing Walmart. read more

Was using the family restroom by customer service, when a male employee knocked on the door. I yelled busy the employee said OK then used a key to unlock the door and enter the restroom. I do not recommend this Walmart. Head to Pricechopper next door. Walmart policy is to card everyone in the party buying alcohol. My sister and I are both over 40. We were purchasing groceries for Thanksgiving as well as a $12 bottle of pink moscato. My 20 year old nephew was also present. They asked him for his ID. We told them he was not not 21, but he wasn't purchasing it or even holding it. Apparently, Walmart policy is to card everyone in the group. They denied us the bottle of moscato. We went out to the car and my sister went back in with her ID. Once again she was denied. The manager was extremely rude and demeaning in front of other customers as she denied my sister the purchase. I am generally a fan of Walmart prices, but the way they treated us was quite humiliating. I won't go back. They need to rethink their policy. read more

Not a normal Walmart its also a hot spot for bus tours. If your in a hurry NEVER EVER stop when a bus is there!! If I would of thought & filmed this visit it would of been a funny hit. Great location for a Walmart, but really a weird Walmart. I have been living in a place that doesn't really have Walmarts (we do, but they aren't what you would expect to find back in the 48 states) so it was weird being in there anyway probably, but it was dark and kinda dingy in there. It was also NOT a supercenter, which was strange to me. I thought that they had phased most of those out, especially in larger towns. If you need to pick up a few items, they probably have what you need. As far as fresh veggies and fruits, they have even less than a Walmart regularly has. Most of the "fresh" items are in plastic bags, and who knows how long they have been sitting in a warehouse, truck or shelf. read more

edit: WALMART IS LITERALLY RUINING MY LIFE It has almost been a month since the incident and Walmart still has yet to do anything helpful. They pretended like they wanted to help by commenting on my original post however they haven't actually responded to me (Ill post screenshots of them ignoring me) With this being the only vehicle we have, we take cabs to and from work every day. We don't really have a choice as we have to go to work, we still have bills to pay. As anyone could imagine taking two cabs a day isn't exactly cheap. What makes it even worse is that both me and my girlfriend don't have the same schedule, lately its been me working morning and her working nights.. which results in both of us being at work for 14 hours at a time. Why? Because we cant afford to take 4 different cabs. My last two paychecks have gone to cabs for transportation, so I don't have money to fix the truck myself. I have trouble sleeping at night because I cant stop thinking about what we're going to do to get back to normal.. What I cant understand is that there are different people that have posted the EXACT same situation and walmart helped them and paid for repairs. So I just cant understand why they keep ignoring me and refuse to help in any way. Our lives are pretty much at a standstill until they help us. Having to be super cautious with all of our spending to make sure we have money for cabs and bills. Why is this the way we are being treated for choosing walmart for tires? I spent $750 for them. Even paid extra for the roadside insurance. And yet I cant even get an actual response from them. Its ridiculous. My only choice here is to put this post literally everywhere that involves walmart until someone can actually help us. ORIGINAL POST Walmarts customer service is atrocious. Upon spending $750 and waiting for at least 7 hours for four new tires at our local Walmart, we had one of the wheels fall off while driving. The simple reason why is that the lug nuts came loose and fell off. Both the guy who pulled over to help and the tow truck driver agreed that it was loose lug nuts that caused it to fall off. While we were lucky that no one got hurt, the back end of our truck got damaged pretty heavily. Of course, we filed a claim with Walmart and after a week of waiting and having to pay almost $100 in cab fares to get to work, we have been informed that our claim was denied. I am now well aware of the recommended process of Re-torquing the wheels after so many miles as a safety precaution. However, it is only a recommendation and not a requirement. It was also never verbally presented to us by the automotive department. So basically after spending $750 on the tires, $100 in cab fares and $100 to get the truck towed from the road, I am $950 down and have been told that I won't be helped in any way. This isn't the first time we have received terrible customer service from Walmart, however, it will be the last time. I can tell you right now that if this were a Target problem that it would have been resolved by now. Walmart is the most profitable company in the world and they should be able to help put things back in order and help the person who chose to give them the business in the first place. Your reputation for low prices might be what keeps you in business but your awful service and lack of care for your customers will be your downfall. Right now I just want some help in getting this sorted out and get my truck back to the way it was.
