It was hot, fresh and service with a smile!!! Had a chili dog, bacon burger and fries!! My belly is full and hopefully the Dr. Pepper with cherry and chushed ice will keep it down and let it flow out!! Im not usually a fan of Sonic but tonight it tasted like heaven and now my tongue is having a tongue-gassam with all these delicious tastes on my pallet! -----update----- 2nd visit Went and used the bathroom and just about left Sonic due to the lack of up keep of this bathroom. More than enough employees to keep it clean. I would blame this on lack of proper managment and having a young staff. Ive been to truck stops and gas stations that have cleaner bathrooms than this. Yuck! :( Ordered my food sat outside since it was actually nice enough out. The girl that searved me was pretty nice and was very effiecient. Though the hickey on her neck told me she either had a long night or a good afternoon. Lol Food came quickly and hot. Had to send my burger back though since I asked for no cheese. Courtney came out and took my burger and quickly had it remade. Sweet! To end this isnt In-N -Out Burger or 5 Guys. Hi folks. Sunny day here in Gulfport Mi crooked letter.... I'm enjoying it to. Hope you're enjoying life as well. Let's talk about Sonic management. At this location, it's non existent. How do I know? Ordered food, selected pay with cash. Normally, car hop comes out with the order on a tray with condiments and the car hop has change. My car hop came out with my order, and the angriest scowl on her face. I don't care if you smile, but don't approach customers with a funky attitude. I greeted, she scowled. What manager makes an angry employee the representative face of the business but a crappy one? Newsflash, she didn't have my money yet, I started to back out and leave her holding the order. I don't need to pay for a burger with a side of anger. I handed her a $20, the order was $12, was giving $5 tip, but she didn't come prepared with change. After about 6 minutes, no return the 30 steps with my change. I really think she decided my tip amount was all of my change. No tf no. I have decided to leave it like that, but I get to decide, not them. I buzzed, um, change? Out she comes with an even meaner look. Still, I gave her $5. I worked for my coins and had an awesome appreciation for my opportunities to earn my living. I never brought dramaface to my place of employment. This manager is why this interaction went this poorly. The manager is why this employee was allowed to deal with customers at all. Yes, we're all human. Yes, we all have bad days. I am pleased and proud to use this review to warn people STAY AWAY. This location is the worst Sonic I've ever been to (and for a company known for 'meh' customer service that's saying something). I've never once ordered here and not waited way over normal waiting times. Even ordering ahead on the app doesn't help - they also have a bad habit of clearing your name from the order board of your stall to (I can only assume) keep their wait times down for corporate reporting. That said I've reached out to their customer service tons of times without resolution. We all know managers for fast food places don't read or care about these so this is for my fellow Yelpers. Please save your time, money, and sanity. After this experience I'm deleting my Sonic app and will just drive by this place without stopping. read more

I've stopped here on a trip to Alabama. I got a grilled cheese kids meal for the little one, and a grilled cheese for me with tots. The tots were damn near perfect. For decades I have considered Sonic as my go to drive in. #1 cheeseburgers for both my wife and me with French fried onion rings and diet limeades. Out of onion rings. We pulled in about 1215 and it looked to be less than half full. It took awhile to get the food but hey it's lunch time so they are busy - just chill - the food will be pipping hot. Wrong! Should have sent the food back but we were traveling on IS 10 and just dipped off for lunch so did not want to waste the time. Mine literally dripping the mustard, mayo, Catsup sauces and no napkins until requested. Diet lime aid (yea the diet makes up for all the other calories. ) Again this has been my choice for decades ... and mine was so strong it's barely drinkable. The young lady that served us was nice and I gave here a $5 tip for a $16 lunch. (It's a tough job for low pay so I tip extra at lunch) But nice server or not I'm not stopping there again!!....and the above is why I do not recommend it to others. read more

Just came here for a quick bite, ordered two regular sized chili cheese wraps, extra chili and cheese when we got them, they were the snack wraps and we got charged 99 cents for the actual wrap and $3 extra for chili and cheese. The first bite was all tortilla. After asking for a manager, a kitchen guy came out and said he was the one who made the wraps and that he did in fact put in extra chili and cheese, and began to correct me by saying these are the snack wraps, that's what you ordered. After politely asking if he could make the regular sized ones we ACTUALLY ordered, he said "yea well I'll have to take those other ones back" and we said that was fine then upon handing them back he said "you know what I'm going to be nice and let y'all keep those, I'm just going to throw them away anyways". He goes back in the kitchen to make our new wraps and comes back out about 10 minutes later and says "the difference from your original ticket is $4.67". Now after being told WE ordered the wrong wrap, and that there was in fact extra chili and cheese in the wrapthat he made personally (which there wasn't) AND after him stating he needed to take the wrong wraps back and THEN to be nice enough to let us keep them because he was going to throw them away anyways, (whew deep breath LOL) yes, after all that he charged us for the difference in the new wraps, which isn't even the best part!!!!!! HE THEN asked when we paid him if we wanted our change?!!!!!!!! I KNOW RIGHT?! I can't believe it either! Comical isn't it. I've been a manager in the food industry and when a customer has a problem, you never EVER say they ordered the wrong thing, or if there was a mistake, you let them keep the food they already have AND lastly, you do not charge them for something they ordered and then ask if they need change!!! I mean seriously?! Who does this company have managing their restaurants! I WILL NEVER do business here again and that says a lot because it takes a lot for me to say that. Went thru drive thru at this location and ordered 4 American dogs and 2 tator tots. We recieved our food and paid girl with debit card. While waiting for our receipt my sister noticed her bun had mold on it. I opened the next on and it was moldy. When the girl returned we showed her and she took the order back and returned later with another order, we asked for the debit card back and she said she had returned it but in reality she never gave it back because she took the moldy hotdogs and returned back inside. Then another girl came out and told us to check our car because they couldn't find it, then the manager came out and blamed the moldy bread on the delivery people and swore we had the card because they didn't have it. The food is typical for fast food, but the service is exemplary compared to the norm in this area. The carhops still skate and are always happy and greet you with a smile. Doesn't matter if you drop in for a refreshing beverage or order 10 burgers for a group. You're always greeted with a happy hello and leave in a great mood. Super disappointed in this sonics. I decided to stop by for lunch and I ordered a Jr. double cheeseburger, medium fry, and a medium ocean water. A car next to me order more food than I did, however, they received their food first. I kind of shrugged it off. When I received my food I the fries was nice and hot. The lady asked me if I needed ketchup and I told her yes. She told me to hold on. I waited and waited then I decided that it is not worth the wait. So I went on to class and when I pulled out my burger I was so disgusted by how messy and nasty the burger looked. I ended up throwing the burger away. It was very disappointing to see how this place doesn't seem to care about their presentation for the food they serve. read more

The food is your typical Sonic food here, but the place is nice. I am loving the newly updated menu boards. They are large screens. More high tech now. And the carhops still use roller skates at this Sonic too. read more
