JASMINE has the WORST attitude. We went through the drive through and she brought us our drinks before our car pulled up to pay and she slammed the door so hard to walk out I thought it was going to break and when we asked about our tea she rolled her eyes and stood there with attitude and after a few minutes of going back and forth she decided she could add it to our order. Tried to order on my mobile app to get the half price drinks and this location doesn't allow me to do mobile ordering it says. So I don't get to Sonic too often since there are no locations near me in NY, but I still have to see their commercials all of the time enough to develop a craving for them. After experiencing a poor Sonic, we decided to give them one more chance before swearing them off permanently. Well here, everything was just fine. I ordered the cheesy bacon pretzel bun hot dog at another location and was severely disappointed. Here however, it tasted (and looked) way better. Had the Jolly Rancher drink as well, which was pretty tasty. The burgers were made right and the orders (no cheese for my fiance - and no mustard/mayo generally since were we come from, we prefer ketchup) were correct the first time. Waitress was friendly. I like going here because I am old enough to remember the only way you could eat fast food was sitting in your car no dine or drive through window. Plus they have a good menu selections. The onion rings are real onions, tatter tots, burgers and more. They also have a great deal of half price shakes after 8PM. But I think that might only be in the summer. Sonic is a fun experience! If you never been to a Sonic you must try it at least once. I never been to one and I always saw their commercials and wanted to try it. Thankfully, they opened one right down the street from my apartment. You pull into one of the spots and you order just like a regular drive-thru, then the waiter or waitress will bring you your food on roller skates and you eat in your car! Fun during hot summer nights! The food is good... typical "fast food" type food... I thought that I would not like the tots because I am a huge french fry lover but they are really good and a nice change. The shakes/drinks are OK. I still haven't found one that I really like. Still on the hunt. Suggestions? Probably the only "fast food" joint that would be okay to take a date! lol :) read more

Wish there was a Sonic in the South Bay Area. We take a road trip to eat here when we have a tots craving. This place is like a grown up drive in that had a sugar rush dream. They have almost every shake you can dream up. The cup sizes are crazy large and all that comes to mind is bladder buster. Lol! The food is average but just having tater tots on the menu brings back the memories from elementary school meals. I rarely ever come here because they always screw up my order (I seem to have that "wrong order" curse). It had been a while since my last visit and my brother wanted Sonic. I made sure to speak slowly, loudly and clearly as I read from a piece of paper what I wanted to order. I ordered a number of things including chilli cheese fries. The girl asked me, "Would you like bacon on that?" I replied, "Bacon? On the chilli cheese fries? Uhh... sure." Then I got my order and started sorting through it. First, they gave me chilli cheese TOTS instead of FRIES, and second there's no bacon on them at all. Instead, they included a paper holder with a whole SLICE of bacon in it. Confused, I checked my receipt and found they charged me 80 cents for a "side of bacon." Did they expect me to chop it up and sprinkle it on top myself with my imaginary knife and cutting board? Why the hell did they even offer bacon on my chilli cheese fries in the first place if they weren't going to put it on my chilli cheese fries? Then I discovered they also messed up my hot dog order and didn't give me straws for my drink. After discussing the issues with the server, they refunded me the difference and gave me straws. BUT... it turns out, as crazy as it sounds, that a slice of bacon on the side for 80 cents is the normal procedure when you accept the offer to have bacon on your chilli cheese fries. We ended up getting a small Snickers Sonic Blast and got a milk drink with snickers pieces that had sunken to the bottom. I love Sonics. Always have since I discovered it when I was in my late teens. We came here at nine at night with two hungry kiddos. After deciding what to eat we pressed the magical red button. They took our order perfect despite my seven year old changing her mind again last minute. We only waited 20 minutes to get our food. The server was a young man who totally understood that the kiddos wanted their food through the back windows. He had no problem doing this so that was great service in my book. All three of us ate for under 20 dollars which is beyond amazing. We will for sure come here. If anyone is wondering they got the crispy tenders and I got a number ten. Stopped here on our way home from Disneyland and were very impressed. Quick ordering, quick payment, quick service. We ordered the meal and then after we were done ordered some shakes, and both servers could not been have friendlier or more helpful. I tried the new foot long Philly cheese steak and absolutely loved it. I didn't expect much from Sonic (I like Sonic and all, but it's usually cheap ingredients and I'm okay with that) but it was great. The bun filled the whole box/bag, and it was fully loaded with meat and cheese. My son had the Coney Island dog and loved that as well. Our tots and onion rings were done perfectly. We ordered shakes later, and they were excellent. I had the vanilla shake with watermelon slush, and they blended it thoroughly. This will definitely become our new post-Disney stop! read more

It was my last day of school and me and my friends went here hoping to have a good kickoff to the summer. Let's just say it was anything but that. First we went into one of the parking spots where they take your order, but absolutely no one answered for about 10 minutes. We went with it and got into the drive thru line instead. The line took over 40 minutes, and I'd estimate that there weren't more than 6 cars ahead of us. By the time we got up there to get our food, they didn't even give me my shake or my chicken tenders. We asked a lady to get it for us and she was rude about it too! This was an awful experience. The only redeeming factor about this place is there shakes are really good, if you have the patience to wait for it for an hour. This sonic needs to get their act together. read more

Terrible rude customer service. Pulled up to the carhop menu at 3:00pm on a Sunday, after waiting some time for someone to answer, when we were abruptly informed that only the drive through was open. And the drive through line was fairly long too. The voice of the employee who answered seemed overwhelmed. But when I tried to ask why only the drive through was open I got nothing, no further response. Annoyed by this, my party and I chose to go to another Sonic in Santa Ana, some 20 minutes away. They were handling much more business and gave better service. I will not return to this location again. When I went to pay I used a gift card that I used the previous week so I know there was a balance on it but the cashier told me the card wasn't activated. But that wasn't true cuz I had just used it. This was my second time at a Sonic's, the first time being at the Anaheim location. I really like the service and the cleanliness of this location way better! I ordered a med. tater tots and a med. cherry limeade. The waitress came out really quickly with my food and they were all very helpful! I tried to use my credit card in the machine to pay for my food but it wasn't working so I pressed the order button again and said that I needed help. They said that the waitress bringing out my food would be able to help me out. The tots were pipping hot and crispy! The cherry limeade oh so refreshing! Drive thru/drive up takes forever and a day! This seems to be the spot for lots of people, not just the husband and myself. We tend to hit this place up for a late night snack after Disneyland being that its on the way home for us but it seems to always be slow in service. If you are itching for fast food, this is not the place to go too. If you don't mind the wait and really, really want those tots and shakes, just be patient, entertain yourself and sit back and relax for a few minutes for your order to roll up to your window. The workers have always been friendly and seem to be in a good mood most of the time (whether it be drive thru or the drive up). I haven't had an issues with any of them and our orders have always been correct, even after the one time that the husband decided to change his mind not once, but twice on what kind of drink he wanted. Unfortunately, Sonic's to me is a fast food joint, therefore I wish it was a bit speedier in giving me me my food on either service (drive thru or drive up). Hopefully it will get better in time and people don't end up rushing in their skates up to your window.
