Hi! So I've had issues with this particular location in the past. Once when I was with my elderly father, and he was asking a simple question, the little dude taking the order scoffed and said "f***ing old people". Anyway that's beside the point, that was in the past. I'm writing tonight to thank the kind, lovely young woman working as a car hop. I had miscounted and was a little short on my change. I offered to put the remainder on my card, but, even though they were just about to close, she told me not to worry about it, it was just 18 cents after all. I know to some this isn't a big deal, but when you've worked in the restaurant industry as long as I have (I'm a chef, btw), things like her bright and positive attitude really stand out and shine. I wish I knew her name so I could thank her by name in this review, but if you all read this, I'm quite sure you'll know who I'm talking about! If she were to ever apply at my restaurant, she would have the job instantly, no interview necessary. So Sonic , treat your people like her well, otherwise you'll only have folks like the first guy I mentioned. read more

I absolutely love the chili cheese dogs at Sonic. However, the ones at this Sonic location are greasy, greasy, greasy. I am honest super surprised that neither hubby or I got sick. Prices per dog were $.20 cents more than they are in FL. Not a big deal, but shocking as things are usually cheaper in MS. Food was brought out to the car by a smiling, friendly carhop in less than 5 minutes after ordering. Hubby says we'll never be back here, but who knows. This place is actually open late, so when we find ourselves in MS again (and we're there fairly often) we may very well find ourselves at this Sonic again. read more

If I could rate a zero I would. I ordered the footlong combo add mustard and onions with onion rings. Was probably the worst meal I have ever paid for. The footlong was literally in the container box upside down. The hotdog was overcooked, rubbery, and burnt on one end. There may have been 6 small onion pieces on the 12 inches of burnt dog and maybe a tablespoon of chili. The onion rings were old, cold, tough, and the worst I have ever had from a Sonic. I live half way between this Sonic and the one on Spillway Road. You never know what you are going to get from the Grants Ferry location; the Spillway location is always great. I only go to the Grants Ferry location because I pass by it most often. I will not spend another cent at this location. If a manager was on duty and allowed this poor representation of Sonic food to leave the kitchen then they should be fired. I took a picture and will upload when I figure out how to. read more

This location is horrible!!!! I asked the server is everything correct and in my bag. She called the complete order out but when I get home I'm missing food. 30 to 45 minute drive away I decide to come back because I'm feeding a family and pregnant wife. I let them know how they mess up and ask for Management to make it right. TAMMY MARLER says "I can't do anything for you." I have been in management for 10 plus years and the customer that has didn't do anything wrong should not be punished for your employees lazy and incompetent behavio. Worst sonic in MS. You might sit there 30+ minutes without getting anyone to even respond........if they respond at all. Their system is always down lately. They're extremely slow. I have ordered on the app several times lately ......but never get my order. The phone is off the hook, they won't reply if you press the button. And, this is a negative at every sonic, the only way to get a refund from an app purchase is to call someone in another state. Awful service and employees just do not care. I went yesterday (May 18th) knowing they close at 11, this was 10:20. I pressed the button and waited over 10 minutes and then pressed it again. While other cars are having their food brought to them. Then, they start turning the lights off. By 10:35 someone finally answers their headset and says their system is down, shocker shocker. This has been going on for MONTHS. As soon as it starts getting close to closing time they decide they don't want to take anymore orders so they can clean and LEAVE by 11. Not close at 11. So I asked the guy on the headset to take my order since I have been sitting there for 15 minutes and if it has been down he should have told everyone as soon as they pulled up. And I also told him I just saw them take a few orders out. He said "well we can only do mobile orders, our system is down and our headsets won't let us pick up" Well it seems to me he picked up and was talking to me right then, so I don't understand? Seems like they are accepting mobile orders because the sonic app doesn't recognize that these people want to close early and will put the order through and charge their card either way. So I sit there and download the mobile app and put in my card and order. When the guy brings it out to me, he goes "Are you the girl I was just talking too" I told him yes, and it was such a coincidence their system shut down 30-45 minutes before close everyday for months, and if it was the headset, how could he answer the stalls and tell people the headsets weren't working? He replied with "Well we are hiring if you want to come fix it" then he waited a beat and said "Ok then" and walked off. Didn't answer or address anything I said, just told me to come fix it myself. I believe his name was Noah C, as it popped up on my stall when he was bringing it to me. I think this was VERY rude and unprofessional, and that sonic needs to hire better people, because it is not just one person, it is the whole establishment. So anyways moral of the story, do NOT go to this sonic, the staff is rude and doesn't care about anything other than leaving when they want, as soon as they want, and not giving a care in the world to the customers. Obviously the manager is aware of this, and doesn't care. And I've had and went with multiple people who have had this exact same experience. read more

Tried to order my wife a small coney dog and they told me that they weren't serving those that they were only serving the foot long coney..... Sent my slush back and it came out the same. Burger wasn't hot at all and fries were undercooked. Disappointed.

I know that chili cheese dogs are greasy by nature, but the chili cheese dogs here are super greasy...The inside of the box was practically caked in grease---Nasty! And surprisingly enough this location has higher prices than the ones in Jacksonville, FL.... The service wasn't bad, but not great... We will not be back to this location again. read more

One Star because negative stars is not available. I waited 40 minutes to receive a cheese burger that came out on cold bun cold cheese and NO MEAT. The chicken sandwich wrapping had been opened several times and had diced chicken off someone's salad it seemed. To make things even worse we were not given a receipt therefore no refund. Keep in mind they just brought our food out. The manager gave me a 1 800 number to sonic cards instead of correct 800 number I found on someone else's complaint. I see why this place barely has 1 Star. I showed up and ordered a large chili cheese tot. Got home with it, no fork. Which wasn't a big deal, but most the time it would be. The problem was it didn't even fill up the container and even worse it barely had any chili or cheese on it. AND it was soggy. None of this would be a big deal, if it weren't $5! Stopped by at 1145pm and was told by the girl over the intercom that they were closed. So I left and then I called and asked what time they closed and the girl says "midnight." Closed early I guess. I probably didn't need that Master Blaster anyway. Point is, don't waste your time stopping at this sonic, they probably aren't open even if all the lights are on and teenagers are in the parking lot revving their motors. I went to sonic this Sunday afternoon, 6/30/19, because I wanted a sonic cheeseburger (one of my favorites - usually). My boyfriend orders and as his side, he wants onion rings. They were out of onion rings. We proceed with the order to my number one with no onions. We swipe our debit card and the carhop brings our food. We pull off and my burger has onions on it. I just ask my boyfriend to scrape them off. I continued to eat it and then when I bit into the burger, it tasted like it was from yesterday. I'm very unhappy with my experience. read more
