terrible service. Pulled up to the. drive thru order speaker. heard something incoherent so i preceded to give my order. Not two words into the order I was yelled at that it would be a few minutes. 4 1/2 minutes later I placed an order for 1 drink and asked to pull up without confirming or being given a total . At the window after being given a total, I handed the employee my money and said nothing. She glared at me like I had called her every name in the book close the window and started screaming about me to her coworkers. After that, she opened the window to give me my drink and screamed at me. We're hiring you know?! I have never been treated so rudely at a drive thru. Great burger and tots! Since we were in a rush, we decided to do drive thru. Ordering was easy and the menu had so many options. The staff at the window was very friendly and put mints on on drinks. Went here tonight after 8pm for a couple half price shakes and some burgers. The last time I was here the hours said they closed at midnight, but when we pulled up at 11 they weren't taking orders through the drive thru or the pull ins. ‍ Guess they decided to close early? Our experience tonight wasn't too bad. We pulled in a spot and scooped out the menu. I went with a #4 Bacon cheeseburger with texas toast and a large tot. I also got the large Blue Raspberry ice cream slushy, which was awesome. The burger was all right. A wee bit cold and the toppings weren't so good. Way too many pickles on it like they put extra i'm pretty sure. The toast wasn't done all the way. Just a total lack of effort on the employees part. My girlfriend got a medium fry and a chocolate/vanilla mixed SHAKE. It came out hard as a rock just like a blizzard from DQ, which does not qualify as a shake. If she wanted something like that she would've gotten that off the menu. They put a bunch of vanilla and a tad bit of chocolate. Fries were cold and had to call them again over the menu to get Ketchup and more napkins. I keep giving sonic a try and with no success. We got a hot dog and a junior cheeseburger and corn dogs with a side of tots. The hotdog had a rock hard bun and slathered with relish and mustard. The burger bun was hard too and covered with mustard. The corn dogs were hard too. They even had us pull over to the side and wait. I normally love sonic for a variety of reasons! However, this location is the WORST!!! If you are looking for a quick bite go anywhere else but here! Me and my boyfriend waited 30 minutes for ice cream. To make matters worse the speaker wasn't working for the car hop window. We had to scream our order and the man on the other end seemed annoyed with us. When the food finally came he abruptly shoved the tray toward us and said the total. We said we slid our card earlier and he proceeded to say it doesn't work sometimes. He never once apologized for the speaker. The music is blaring, trash in the parking lot, and workers who would rather be anywhere else. Only reason for two stars as the slushie was good. Ordered 6 wings with honey bbq. What I got was hard semi warm, in my opinion used,wings. I really think someone ordered Buffalo sauce & changed mind. BBQ sauce was real heavy on my wings but man were they hot with spice. Never again. Waiter came out with just wings & slushie. We go to Sonic on Sam Neace and it says they close at 11PM. We were there at 10pm and the restaurant was black there was no one there. Then 5 minutes later we see a guy I guess locking the door and just looking at us like we're stupid. I double check the website to make sure I was looking at the correct location and time. Sure enough it says that this restaurant is open. I've never been here and this is the one time I was going to try it. I won't be back there. How does a restaurant close an hour early and still stay in business. This was very frustrating. I am not a basher but If I could give them no stars I would. I love this chain but this particular one is worse than a Burger King. I first got my order to go and they gave me the wrong meal. I was at home by the time I noticed so I ate what I got which was a horribly tasting dry chicken sandwich on dry sandwich bread. Went back a couple days later because I was craving one if their burgers, regretted that trip too! The burger was over cooked and Nasty! We ordered a double with mustard, ketchup, and mayo...it was wrong the first time so asked for it to be remade because it was only a single burger...and was not plain...40 minutes later we received to correct burger...he ate it but the cheese was not even melted...it was not warm. The food is really good. The price is really good. The service isn't always really good... but what can you expect when you're dealing with fast food? That's why I give it a 4 instead of a 5. I fell in love with Sonic when I vacationed In North Carolina a few years back, back when we didn't have one in the Northern Kentucky area. Soon after I got back, this one opened and I was really excited. The service however isn't nearly as good. Also the menu isn't as big, and it doesn't stay open very late here, but in North Carolina it was open I believe all night, if not all night it was very close to it. I think it's interesting that they serve food, and a lot of different shakes/ icecreams/ smoothies. I also think it's interesting that they let you park your car and a waitress comes out to your car. If you're lucky enough she might even be wearing skates. That's not too often though. Either way, this place is still really good, and definitely one of the best fast food restaurants around. read more

This is the first time we have been to this sonic. When we got there we waited at the speaker for a good 5 mins and no one was even in front of us. Since no one was helping us we pulled up to the window and finally got someone's attention, they had no idea no one had helped us. Absolutely disgusting! Went there after my daughter's softball game, we were so hungry. We went thru the drive thru and when we got home we were beyond disappointed. The tater tots were congealed together and were so mushy. The bottom of the container had a weird looking brown liquid in it. The fries looked like they had been cooked a month ago and sat under the heat lamp. The burgers were dry, the tomatoes mushy, and no ketchup or mustard as ordered on them. On 8/2/19 at 6:55 pm i used my app to order 4 milk shakes. At 7:05 I pulled into stall 5 and signed myself in. It said David would be there. I waited about 10 minutes and a man came to my window and asked why i was there. I told him. He said he gave our order to someone else. He said he would make more. He came back with a woman who asked me how I ordered and I must have put in the work stall and what did I order because clearly she couldnt have messed up. I guess I was lying about ordering??? I said no we did not do it wrong and told her my order. they said they would make more. At 7:50 i walked into the store and asked them where my shakes were. 3 more were being made (one wasnt even what i ordered). Short story I was told i must have did it wrong. They then find my closed out order and inform me my shakes have been in the deep freeze. The entire time!! No refund. No offer to take something off as it was now getting to the 8pm half off mark (7:58). What kind of store exactly are you running? This is unacceptable behavior for anyone who knows anything about customer service. This is the 2nd time I have had issues.
