Drive through Sonic ... the only place that was open passed 8 pm where we were at so we decided to grab a late night bite. It wasn't a great experience but it wasn't terrible either. It's pretty much everything you expected from a drive though place. The person that took our order had a hard time getting our order which took close to 5 mins to get everything right! Wife went to get food. When we got home, they gave her a Hotdog with fries on it, instead of the Smash Burger and Fries she ordered. When I went back, they refused to give me what I ordered, became very belligerent, and told me to leave. I think we need a petition to get rid of Sonic here in Emmett! read more

I have stopped trying to give this place a chance. The food is just not good. If you order onion rings, or jalapeno poppers, for example, they taste sweet. If you are deep frying savory items and also sweet items in the same place, it just yucky. I have probably been here 8 times and I'm just done. read more

If I could rate it 0 stars I would. Just tonight I ordered the simplest of meals, knowing that this location has a habit of messing things up. I ordered some tots and a grilled cheese. Boy was I surprised. after 10 or so minutes I'm met with a somewhat warm microwave cheese sandwich made from the butts of the bread. And my tots? Albino soggy and unseasoned. I'm pretty much done with sonic. I'm so tired of cold greasy fries and having my burger made correctly. I'm allergic to onions. I specifically say no onions. Almost every time I get onions anyway! Today's visit went really irked me. The fries were stone called, super oily, super salty and only half a carton for a large fry it was full. I drove up to the drive through , I asked for 2 large mozzarella stick orders, the person i was speak to proceeded to put 1 medium mozzarella order I said no 2 larger she says WHAT ?? so I obviously noticed a lack of understanding me .. I proceeded to pull up to the window and explain what I wanted, the pink haired manager tells me so you ordered a larger mozzarella stick I said no I ordered 2 ... he smarts off to me and says then you shouldn't have pulled up, I said really you just lost my business for that !!! My son recieved a free medium sushi from school and was super excited, I took him there and ordered his slush and decided to order to additional drinks since I was there. I get to the window and the young man tells me my total, I hand him the coupon for the free slush and my debit card. I see him stick the coupon I'm assuming where the other coupons are placed and then hands me my card and asks if I want my receipt. I answered yes, he hands it to me. As I'm waiting I notice I was charged for the slush so I tell him when he opens the window again. Mean while the whole time I see two people over in the corner messing around instead of working. He was very nice and says it's a problem and he will get it fixed. I see him go over to the people in the corner and he comes back and hands me my coupon and says I was told to just give this back to you since you already paid, while the people in the corner are staring at me again assuming they are higher up since he asked them for help and walked passed 3 other people to do so. I explained that coupon was the reason we came here and I decided to order other drinks since I was here. He apologized and said this is what I was told to do I'm sorry again. About what you'd expect from Sonic in terms of food quality and speed of service: Not exceptional, not terrible- right down the center. The order process was pretty disjointed- we had to repeat and clarify a LOT. At the end the person (male) raced through reading back the order and before we could question it, he quoted a price that seemed low for the order and disconnected. So, had to push the button again to get another person back on speaker to question the charge and get that worked out. The credit card reader didn't work and the guy who brought the order said, "yeah, we have a lot of problems with those" which is an attempt to apologize but said in a way that its a known problem. So, wonder what if anything is being done about that. So overall, less than a stellar experience. read more

Honestly I've never had a bad experience with this site. They've always done the orders to our standards and my ex wife's daughter loved their grilled cheese sandwiches. Probably my favorite thing about Sonic is their drink menu. Oh my word! I still go with a large ocean water with extra cherry. I am a huge fan of the strawberry limeade also! I've not really attempted any other crazy mixes yet but I'm willing! Definitely stop by this site! I know they've made changes to management and like most fast food joints they have a hugh turnover. I DoorDashed my food and I'm currently still waiting on it they said they lost the order and it's been over an hour. Smdh.

All of our food was cold. The burgers and tots. The only thing slightly warm where the mozzarella sticks. Very poor service

Some of these kids working here have a very poor customer relations. The night shift is terrible.

Most times the drive in gets my order wrong or I end up waiting for 20-30 minutes just to make it through. Today I ordered a large #2 with no onions and bacon, tator tots and a cherry lime aid. I spoke slowly and clearly and paused between each request. Attendant then asked me what size did I want?.....did you want fries or tots?.....what was that request about the burger?.....and okay now what would you like to drink?..... I had to repeat everything I said twice. Then I got to the window to be handed a medium drink which I had to correct and when I got home my burger had NO bacon. Learn. To. Listen!!!! Wrong orders and long waits or a combination of both await you every time you pull into the drive through lane at this particular Sonic. read more

We wanted something different besides McD's or Tacos so we went to Sonic! How nice, the food actually looked like the pictures! It was also delicious, crisp lettuce and non-wilty tomato whoo whoo!! It was made on the spot, not just sitting under a light. Hot was hot, cold was cold. The cookie dough shake could have used more cookie dough but I managed to eat the whole thing just fine! It seemed like the whole town was there as the other food places didn't have half the business. We also didn't wait that long! Our cashier was brilliant because she got everything right because we are difficult and add and subtract stuff, LOL! We enjoyed our drive out there and our lunch even more! read more

*PLEASE read all of this unbiased review. Friendly employees & great food but the building has been in considerable dis-repair for many years. That's no exaggeration, literally YEARS. We've lived in the area for over 15 years and the damage to the building has been like this most of those years. Photo's don't lie... please see photos attached. 1.) There are at least 3 areas of the building where vehicles have hit it and cause considerable damage. Wires are even 'hanging out' in one area of damage. Ownership of a property like this includes insurance which easily covers such incidences. So hello?.... why is the damage there literally between 5 to 10 years later?? 2.) The drive up order menu and speaker are ridiculously old and literally falling apart, yes... FALLING APART. There is actually TAPE holding parts of the menu sign together and some of the tape is not even holding and flops around in the wind (yes seriously!). The speaker box has missing/worn off verbiage and appears to missing parts and the employees often have a hard time hearing what you say. 3.) Drive up menu boards (until just this past week) were in decrepit shape and 3 menu boards got in such bad shape were just removed completely and never replaced for years. REALLY?? It's what a customer pulls up to and sees to order! More tape trying to hold parts together and missing or literally falling apart pieces. 4.) All concrete areas are heavily stained from use over the years and have obviously never been maintained. 5.) All painted surfaces (poles, doors, etc...) are faded and/or filthy and have obviously never been updated or maintained. **Whomever the owner of this property is, should be ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES. The owner is quite clearly just sitting back and enjoying his/her income and has ABSOLUTELY NO PRIDE of ownership in the Emmett Sonic property. ****Sonic (the company NOT the Emmett franchisee) has made a very recent improvement of all new POS system, provided by MICROS, as well as what it's calling a new "Point of Personalized" service feature to all Sonic's across the nation. This was put in place by the Company NOT by the Emmett building's owner/franchisee. So, in other words, the only improvement to this property over the past 10 or more years was NOT because the owner wanted to do it. This is a POOR EXAMPLE of a franchisee restaurant! read more

Sonic is one of my favorite stops for cold beverages in the summer. This sonic has trouble when they get slightly busy though. Drinks came 45 min late and the order was wrong. The manager was nice and offered gift card for my wasted time. It's been a consistent issue though. Hoping they figure it out soon! read more
