So this particular Sonic used to have a reputation of being trash. I haven't been to this location in a while, but there are new employees there and they are fantastic! No order notes missed, the food was very fresh, and the restaurant is very clean all around. This is the only Sonic in the town of Coolidge, Arizona. Very disappointing experience at the Coolidge Sonic. I placed an order online for a chili dog and a 5-piece chicken tender order, and waited over 30 minutes for my food. When I pulled up, there were five employees sitting outside, while my order still wasn't ready. After waiting all that time, I ended up getting the wrong drink, and to make matters worse, my chili dog was cold. There wasn't even an apology or any explanation for the extremely long wait or the mistakes with my order. Tonight I experienced the worst food quality and customer service. I don't usually write reviews but I feel the need to tonight. I ordered the chicken sand which for my toddler. While the staff was laughing at me handed me the smallest and hard like a rock sandwich. I literally cracked a piece of the chicken patty off. I was wondering why the staff was laughing handing me the bag but when I got home I realized why. I didn't feed it to my daughter obviously. The worst service ever. They forgot some food and when I asked for marinara they gave me barbecue and ranch...,,, like why...??? They forgot my mozzarella sticks and when I noticed I wanted to go back and get them but guess what? They didn't give me the receipt!:)))) cool. The food they DID remember was gross. Yesterday my family and I stopped by this Coolidge location after recently experiencing horrible service at the Queen Creek location. We'd hoped for better service at a different store. We were disappointed. Again. I pulled into stall #18, pushed the button, and started to give my order. I'd barely finished giving my daughter's order, the first of three meals, when the rude order taker abruptly stated our total and, without asking if we had any other items to order, disconnected. Between last Thursday's horrible service in Queen Creek and now this in Coolidge, I was in no mood to deal with them beyond this point. Good burgers and quarter pound coneys, but the wait can be a bit long at the drive through. Check your soda though before you leave though as their soda mix is off from time to time. It often tastes like just carbonated water. Also be careful pulling into their driveway as their entry requires you to pulll past the drive in exit so getting hit is a real concern. read more

The staff here are very kind however the food is awe full! I've given this location at least a handful of chances and every time they get more disappointing. The the "jumbo" chicken popcorn is just tiny little scrap pieces of fried nothing from the bottom of the fryer and no chicken, and every time they give me the wrong items for my kids meals. The food at this location is Sonic standard fare and if you like Sonic food this will meet your expectations. The difference is the lack of public restroom for customers. I was invited to walk to the Circle K 120 yards away. I chose the slightly closer Taco Bell to the south. The staff had a bit of trouble remembering napkins, ranch etc, but that's forgivable. However, I don't think I can return here without the benefit of being able to wash my hands. May try location again to give it another chance. read more

Coming into the lot there is garbage everywhere and the building itself looks pretty run down. The wait times for food in drive-thru and while parking are outrageous, I thought this was supposed to be fast food?! After waiting in the drive thru for 20 minutes for a very simple order that we had to repeat four times, we double check our food only to discover and long black hair in one of our burritos...brought the burrito back to a regular employee who was very apologetic who then took it to the manager. The only reason I give the local Sonics a 4 star review is because of Edgar. If this young man is not the manager for this spot, he should be! Best service we have had at this forsaken location. We frequent this location regularly and every time Edgar is taking orders or at the window he is spot on. A courteous smile and service keep us coming back.
