Spectacular! I will always love a small town diner, with great people: servers & patrons alike.. Place gets packed, prepare to wait if you come with more then yourself. it's worth it! Nothing fancy, just great home cooking with fantastic people.. The place was full & I still only waited about 10 minutes for my food after I ordered. the time flew by because I met a couple terrific patrons who are locals & have a few years more than me in the tank. Anytime in down this way, I will come see Rose & grab a good meal.

Adorable throwback with excellent service & phenomenal food. Parking was easy. Immediately seated and our server was a pro. Food came out quickly - hot and fresh. Highly recommend.

Best place to stop for breakfast on this side of town! I ordered takeout and even the packaged presentation "delivered ". Not only did it look great, but it also tated amazing! The service is out of this world! Anytime i go in to pick up my order, they always make me feel like im part of the family and not just a customer! The personal greetings are so warm and welcoming! This place never misses! It has a chill family diner vibe on the inside with table seating or bar style seating.

Great vibe, friendly staff, local community central hub of food, freedom & family. I ordered the stuffed French toast on special & that came with sausage, also ordered 2 eggs & toast!

It's been a long time since I've eaten here, so I thought I would give them another shot as I was not super impressed with my first visit. Unfortunately this visit didn't end up any better. I had a cup of chili which wasn't bad, and a slice of cherry pie which was actually pretty good. If I had been there for only those two things I would give them a better review but the real test is an actual meal. I had the grilled ham and cheese on rye, which was super thin, and definitely not worth the price of admission to this particular show. My wife had the liver and the total bill was just under thirty dollars. Of note was that while there was a sign by the cash register asking customers to stay home if they had Covid as the restaurant was concerned for their customers safety, not a single person working there was wearing a mask and they didn't enforce it for customers coming or going. They didn't sanitize between customers and there was no social distancing at all which was a shame because the restaurant is large enough to handle it with two back rooms available. Between the food and safety concerns I find somewhere else to eat moving forward.

Ordered the fish and the 2 pieces were only about 3 bites each and mediocre at best. Don't know why it always looks busy

Country style home cooking. Very good! The prices are affordable as well. There are not a lot of choices in Coolidge, either.

Great food, good coffee and when you spend your hard earned money there you are supporting a local family owned business.

Pretty good breakfast spot in a small town, friendly staff, and it's good hangout for a big family breakfast. Or breakfast with friends.

    Chicken fried steak?

TAG's "Chicken Fried Steak" - its to die for ! CFS is my weakness and a meal I measure restaurants by. I figure if they mess up a CFS dinner I don't belong there. TAG's is a full meal and something I won't tell my doctor I eat on a regular… Read more

Most things have become much smaller: The plates that are not large enough for a burrito, not that the burritos are that large for the price, no napkins with the silverware, why maple syrup was on the table and I asked the waitress that question and the salsa bottles are half the size given that was the main reason I would come here to begin with. They also used to provide a side of lettuce and tomatoes with the burritos. I reviewed the entire menu and couldn't find one option for maple syrup. This morning the burrito had an awful lot to be desired. The meat tasted as if it was cooked a previous day and was burned from being reheated, the chicken tough and dry, the shrimp cold and the burrito in all was way over salted. The tortilla as always didn't taste fresh. As mentioned, the inside of the building has little to no customers and why the drive-thru has so many customers I wouldn't know or understand. I went thru the drive thru once and something dripped all over my car. No one could tell me what and believe me I was loud and pretty insistent at wanting to know what it was given it was a workday so I couldn't go home and wash it off. I neglected to mention that today was actually a special occasion given there was toilet paper in the restroom. Most times there is none and I generally try and remember to bring some given their cheap thin napkins are not a good substitute. Yes: DEFINITELY WILL NOT GO BACK!!! And I used to eat here at least once a week given that there isn't much of a selection in Coolidge to begin with.

Enjoying a lunch with Ed who was born in Miami over 90 years ago. We both ordered #6 combination plates with a burrito, taco and cheese enchilada. Place is a local favorite. Servers and cooks were slammed for hours and provided exceptional friendly service. Homemade chips and salsa were fine. The cheese enchilada was very tasty. The taco had a shredded beef and the burrito had nice chunks of beef. Right amount of heat. Price was under $12. No need for rice and beans, could not finish what was served. One of the best in the Copper Triangle Area. Put this one on your list. All good here!

I needed a break after driving for 3 hours and needed to eat and use the washroom so this place worked out nicely for me. They have booth seats and in the middle larger tables for bigger parties. I sat in a booth and service from the women working here was very good! I loved their fresh made chips and homemade salsa that came in carafes. I even asked to take home the salsa, which I have never done before! Yum! I ordered the tamale plate but couldn't really substitute out the beans, which I did not like. I have tried so many times to develop a healthy relationship with pinto beans and refried beans, but no matter what, I just hate them. I can't figure out why I don't like them, I think it's the mushy consistency and just don't enjoy them. Not the restaurant's fault at all. The tamale was good and the rice flavorful. Next time, I'll just ask for double portion rice. I had a margarita but didn't really enjoy it. Was too spirit forward for me. Next time, I'll try a frozen one instead. As you can see, I am planning to come back! The place had character, and I'd come back just for the chips and salsa and great service! Great spot in Miami and looks like everyone knows about this place!
