Food was "meh" and my slushee came with a hole in the bottom of the cup which, when handed to me, ended up getting all over my car. Thankfully I was able to find a worker and show that my cup was leaking and they quickly gave me a new one. My wife and visited on 6/14 around 6:30 PM for slushies. It was busy, with a long line at the drive through and nearly every bay filled. We took one of the 2 remaining bays, decided on what we wanted, and pressed the button to order. We waited 10 minutes with no one answering the speaker. So we left. My son saw that Sonic was going a collaboration with Beyblades in their wacky packs (kids meals), so on 6/22 we went for lunch specifically for the collab. We ordered the one wacky pack and 2 foot long coney dog meals. We did not mention we were here for the Beyblade, nor that we needed a "boy toy". We pulled up to the window, paid, and got our food. The woman at the window was nice and pleasant. My son immediately opened the kids meal and found a pink unicorn mermaid toy. I waved to get someone's attention inside, and the same woman came back and asked I needed something. I explained the situation, and she said "oh you wanted a boy toy, ok, I'll be right back". She left, and 10 seconds later came back with a toy with an orange wrapper, and another woman right behind her. She handed me the toy and asked for the other toy back (which I would've given back, but my son had already ripped open the package to see what was inside as it was not a clear wrapper). I said he'd already opened it, and she said "oh ok, no problem" and moved to close the window. The other woman put her hand in the window to stop it from closing, stuck her head out, and in a rude tone said "and just so you know, we don't have boy and girl toys, they're just toys" and shut the window. I was taken aback by her tone and response when the other woman was very nice. I waved to get someone's attention again, and a different woman came to the window. I asked her "so the other woman said you don't have boy and girl toys, but the first woman said that we'd gotten a girl toy..." I hadn't even finished my sentence when she interrupted me and said in a nasty tone "she doesn't know, it's only her third day" and hurriedly shut the window. And after all that, we didn't even get the right toy, no Beyblade toy. Overall a complete disappointment and waste of time and money. The food was mediocre at best, with cold rubbery hot dogs and overcooked nearly inedible fries. These 2 terrible experiences have made it so that I won't go back to this location. Ms. Third Day new employee, I'm so sorry that you have to work in an environment like that. Hopefully you didn't get into too much trouble or they weren't nasty to you. If this is a franchise, the franchise owner needs to take a long hard look at their employees. There's a lot of negative reviews about terrible customer service. We ordered online and paid ahead, got to Sonic 5 minutes before order was going to be ready. 10 minutes AFTER it was suppose to be ready I pushed button to add a sauce and the only thing that happened was the lady to yell "We are working on it!!!" ok, excuse me....then when she brought it out TWENTY MINUTES after the order pick up time, I told her that I wasn't nagging and I just wanted to add something if I could. I was SO VERY disappointed with our visit on 4/19/2015 @ around 2:00. I will start off by saying the location is easy to find, it's located on Alpine Ave. on the corner (sorry can't remember the street). You can see it from the road. Now back to the review..... We ordered & paid for our food at one of the stalls. We waited & waited & waited & waited for our order to come out, finally after almost 25 MINUTES our order was here delivered by a female car hop (if we would not have paid, we would have left!!). After she skated away, we started going through our order. The kids meals contained everything they were supposed to but the food was cold. Then we went through our food, we ordered a #11 & corn dog, we were missing a piece of chicken, our Texas toast was soggy (as if it had been sitting) and had absolutely no flavor, and all our food was cold. You could tell this order was sitting for awhile after it was cooked!!! It was disgusting. The car hop never checked back on us (they normally do), we had no napkins. It's like throwing a dart on the menu.. You never get what you order. After the 3rd time I realized it wasn't just a simple miskate. I ordered a chocolate m&m mixer all of the 3 times.. I stopped here with my 3 year old for "happy hour". He wanted a blue raspberry slush with nerds, which is what I ordered. the gentleman brought it out and it was clear. I asked if it was the blue raspberry slush. he assured me it was, and explained it may not have been mixed good but that he could remake it. I explained I have no problem mixing it and did so for about 3 minutes. finally I pushed the button to let the staff know this is not the blue raspberry slush. the women was extremely rude and told me it is the raspberry slush. I told her my 3 year old doesn't understand that. she brought out a new slush and was clearly pissed about it, and even said "even though they taste the same" as she walked away. I also tasted both and can assure you they did not taste the same. I did not get her name, but she was very rude. I understand they're busy, and she may have been having a rough day. My experience at Sonic today was terrible! I waited in the drive thru for quite a while. I finally placed my order and when I tried to use a sonic gift card I was told no they can't run it and will not except it. She said they can not except that type of gift card I had. She was very rude to me. I asked her why couldn't she run the gift card? She told me to download the App and maybe it would work then. I asked why couldn't they run it through their app and accept it and she started yelling at me. I asked for her manager and she slammed the door and locked it and walked away. I showed her I had the money to pay for my $5 Ice Cream. She then opened the window to tell me I was being a "Karen" and that she was the manager. Her name was Elizabeth. She wouldn't give me her last name because she was afraid I would stalk her! I even had the receipt taped to the gift card to show it was paid for. Really poorly handled. Asked for an unsweetened ice tea with strawberries. They gave me an extremely sweetened drink. I walked over to request (un) sweetened again. He said it was unsweetened and said he made it himself. I explained we get this in the Las Vegas location and it has no sweetener. He didn't want to listen so I asked for my money back, knowing I wouldn't get the correct drink.
