This was a pathetic excuse for a Sonic Two out of four orders were wrong. What should have been a 10 minute order- 2 sandwiches, fries, tots, and mozzarella sticks.... It took us 20 minutes for the order to come out at 3:20 in the afternoon. And then another half of the order - the chicken sandwich and tots were not delivered or was wrong... so had to wait another 20 minutes to get those. Half the car ate while the other half watched ... then the other half ate. It was ridiculous. Not sure who's running this place but it needs some help!!! read more

Update: Living in Clyde you don't have any other Sonic options so I came back two times this past week for a drink and prepared for the worst. Both visits were fast and friendly! Poor Slow Service My daughter and I went for two drinks after I picked her up from work at another business in Clyde. We sat there for over 10 minutes and no one ever answered the call bell to even take our order. We could see staff inside, laughing, but no one answered and there was only 1 other car there, so it wasn't that they were swamped with business. Finally, we left and went next door to Whataburger where we got fast, friendly service. In my opinion, keep driving to Eastland or Abilene if you have to have a Sonic Drink Fix. read more

I have been to several different Sonics, originally I am from San Diego and mainly go to the one there. However by far this sonic in Clyde has been the best one I have had the pleasure of coming to. Not only were they quick but the carhop just has the warm hospitality feeling to her of a small town gal, you feel me? I did not just feel like some number to them. I would definitely come again. Time before that, my husband went there to get lunch. He told them explicitly to cut the tomatoes on my burger due to a severe tomato allergy. Foods good it's sonic just like any other sonic. Sometimes they are slow not kind of slow like 30min to 50 min to get your order slow and you better hope it's all there or you get to do that wait all over again. It is hit or miss at this location then sometimes 10 min. and they don't have to be very busy for this to happen I haven't figured that one out. They are always nice. read more
