Traveling through town and searched for "best burgers" and Rockin Rollerz came up. And they were definitely AWESOME burgers! We had the Old Fashioned and the B1 Bacon Burger and both were cooked to perfection. The fries were excellent, too. Iced tea was fresh brewed and, though we don't drink beer, there seemed to be a wide array of craft brews on tap. Employees were friendly and helpful, we were greeted promptly, assisted with selections, and food arrived quickly. Restaurant was very clean! Oh, and it was only 1 mile (or less) from I-20. The service was good, the food was exceptional, and the atmosphere was perfect. But I judge a restaurant the same way I judge a hotel, by the bathroom. The seat was clean. The seat was dry. There was plenty of toilet paper. The latch on the stall worked perfectly. At that point, I realized I had found a five-star bathroom. So I sat there a little longer to enjoy the peace and quiet and because apparently this was the only place in town where nobody needed anything from me. While contemplating life, I noticed writing on the stall wall, it said, "If you want the job done right, call Martha." I thought, Well, Martha sounds confident. So I thought I'd give her a call. If Kristin's working the floor when you go, you're in great hands. The restaurant has large, comfortable seating that can easily accommodate groups of any size. The fries were fresh and equally delicious. Everyone who works there was very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was very spacious and clean (they even bus your tables for you). The only surprise was the charge for grilled onions that I added to my burger. Pretty good burgers. I got the rockin roller burger. I usually don't get burgers with onions. However, the lady said these were shaved very thin and fried crispy. She was correct. They were very good on the burger. Each sliver of onion was battered and fried like an onion ring. Bacon was hanging out of the burger, which is just what I like to see. My Burger came with nasty sauce, which is apparently their famous house sauce. It's rather unique and good. When ordering the fries both my wife and I got a side of fries. I did not know that the fries were gonna be the size of a boat. One side of fries would've been good for both of us. My wife got the southern fried beauty, which is a fried chicken breast on a bun with bacon, cheese and sauce. The dining room was a little dark, I would have preferred to have more light, the vibe was mixed, an hip burger joint with intimate mood lighting???? Hey the burgers were great though. Put a candle on the table change the music from hard rock to classical violin, and voilà. Or keep it the same and put some lights in there. People working there are extremely helpful and very nice. Stopped by last week on my way to Colorado and had their Johnny Popper burger and Johnny fries. It was one of the best burgers I've had. I'm serious. The staff was very friendly and helpful ordering in a new place. The place is back in the corner of a strip center so it's easy to miss but you won't want to. Amazing meal! I would absolutely come here again. I ordered the Nashville chicken. It is a special and I added grilled onions. The flavor of the chicken, heat, and sauce was amazing. It would have been great on its own, but I added the perfect grilled onions and it was divine. Best burger I've ever had in my life! We stopped here on a road trip from Lubbock to south Texas- just to grab a little dinner. I got the nutty professor- burger with a delicious peanut butter sauce, strawberry jelly and potato chips on top. Holy cow!!!! It sounds weird but it was awesome! My son had a regular cheeseburger and it was great! Husband had the future bird with fried egg and the Johnny Fries and he couldn't say enough good things! My daughter got a grilled cheese sandwich which was good as well but her chocolate milkshake was the best part of her meal. The fries are great, the buns are amazing and the service was excellent! Rockin Rollerz checks every category and delivers above and beyond service to boot. I thoroughly enjoyed the "Future Chicken" burger and regular fries, but when I'm in the area again I'm going to try and tackle the reputedly spicy and delicious "Johnny burger". We approached the counter and the waitress took our order immediately. I had the Poppin Johnny ( a jalapeño popper burger) the wife had the Rockin Rolla (it had crispy string fries and signature nasty sauce). Both burgers have good flavor but the jalapeno popper burger was my favorite. French fries are string fries but aren't overcooked. Service is excellent and staff is very welcoming. If you haven't had a chance to eat here you should. They also have chicken and shakes. Price for 2 adults who shared fries is comparable to another food establishment.
