It would have been great on its own, but I added the perfect grilled onions and it was divine. Best Gluten free burger I have had in a LONG time! ($3 extra on the bun, which is a little steep) We will be coming back here for sure!! The hamburger was amazing! The chicken sandwich was great too. The chicken was grilled, seasoned and huge. The fries were good too. Great service and fantastic food. i stop by this place every time i'm in Abilene and it never disappoints! it's a bit out of the way so you might miss it just driving through, but all the locals know Rockin Rollerz is where it's at. there's lots of fun options to try but the Poppin Johnny is always my go to, it's got just the right amount of heat and a lil bit of crunch without being too out there for a picky eater like myself. the atmosphere is chill and laid back, they've got all the good classic rock playing 24/7 but it isn't too loud for kids or groups. it's rarely crowded and food always comes fast. service is so sweet and friendly (shoutout to Sunshyne by the way, she's awesome!) all in all i highly recommend giving this place a try, it's fantastic! --. read more

It was our first time there so the lady told us all about it and helped explain the menu items. I love that you can customize ANYTHING. We got chicken sandwiches and they were delicious! You can choose fried or crispy chicken which I enjoy because I like options. And the milkshakes are so creamy and delicious! Best burger I've ever had in my life! We stopped here on a road trip from Lubbock to south Texas- just to grab a little dinner. I got the nutty professor- burger with a delicious peanut butter sauce, strawberry jelly and potato chips on top. Holy cow!!!! It sounds weird but it was awesome! My son had a regular cheeseburger and it was great! Husband had the future bird with fried egg and the Johnny Fries and he couldn't say enough good things! My daughter got a grilled cheese sandwich which was good as well but her chocolate milkshake was the best part of her meal. The fries are great, the buns are amazing and the service was excellent! Rockin Rollerz checks every category and delivers above and beyond service to boot. I thoroughly enjoyed the "Future Chicken" burger and regular fries, but when I'm in the area again I'm going to try and tackle the reputedly spicy and delicious "Johnny burger". Challenge accepted guys. Great folks, great food (and an amazing selection of draft and other brews!) as well as a nice atmosphere. I was there at lunch so that's my take on the place. The wife and I decided to try this burger place while in Abilene. As we entered the atmosphere is great, laid back and welcoming. We approached the counter and the waitress took our order immediately. I had the Poppin Johnny ( a jalapeño popper burger) the wife had the Rockin Rolla (it had crispy string fries and signature nasty sauce). Both burgers have good flavor but the jalapeno popper burger was my favorite. French fries are string fries but aren't overcooked. Service is excellent and staff is very welcoming. If you haven't had a chance to eat here you should. They also have chicken and shakes. Price for 2 adults who shared fries is comparable to another food establishment. Stayed in Abilene for a work trip and stopped by this burger place due to the ratings on Yelp. I ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich and asked for them to hold the blue cheese. The people that were working were very friendly and asked if I wanted a different cheese in place of the blue cheese. My Togo order came out quickly. The taste was amazing!
