I've had bad experiences with food before but I never sweat it.. this sonic has made me create a yelp account just to warn people not to go here. I've been there maybe 10 times. and they have only gotten my order correct 1 time. they have most definitely served me food that was at least a day old (with hair on it and unmelted cheese). The average IQ of the workers here is possible 60, which is being generous considering they consistently can't figure out how to get someone's order correct. and to top it all off, they are ungodly slow. read more

This Sonic is the WORST I have ever been in & that says a lot about loot about Sonic as I have been in Many over several states. The young lady that was working the drive thru cahier was VERY NICE to me & very professional, However the A88HOLE that was the fry cook was NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL. First I parked my truck as it is too tall to go thru your drive thru. Then I walked to the patio to place my order. There was no sign on the kiosk that table orders were not taken. However I was informed thru the speaker that drive thru orders were the only orders taken. I then went to the drive thru window to place my order. The young lady there took my order & was very professional once I explained to her that my truck was TOO TALL to enter the drive thru canopy. Once my order was taken it did not take very long to get my order, BUT the A88HOLE fry cook started to berate me from his station at the fryer & continued to come to the window & threaten me. It was at that time I took my order & paid then took my order from the young lady & left. It is a good thing that I am very tolerant of these A88holes other wise I would have shown this A88HOLE some manners. There's plenty of stalls outside so you can just pull up, order, and eat your food while listening to the radio in your car which is what I like to do. There's a covered stall above and its big enough to keep the sun out of your eyes in the evening if you park on the right side as you come in. I got a chili cheese coney which was so good I almost inhaled it without chewing it. I will come back. Car hop needs to carry change on him instead of going back inside to get change. I thought that was weird. However, I'm over looking that because he might be a new hire. This area of highway 58 tends to be forgotten about as most restaurants and businesses around here have no reviews or even pictures except for me taking them. read more

They were SUPER, SUPER, SUPER SLOW! I had to say "Hello" just to see if anyone was working! I was told by a woman, "We'll be right with you!" I waited at least FIVE minutes before anyone ever took my order. Unfortunately, in the middle of giving them my order the woman stopped talking and then only after I said "Hello" did a woman say "One Moment Please" I was finally able to give them my order. I then had to wait for the food to ready once I got to the window! There was a very nice young man at the window! He was very mannerabl, very respectful, very nice, and very friendly. He told me "Thank You" and "Have a Nice Day," which I really appreciate!! read more

Second time I've came there and ordered a sausage breakfast burrito and heard the them repeat to me that I did in fact order a sausage burrito and not a bacon one. Really leads me to believe it's laziness of not wanting to get sausage back out to cook and since the bacon is ready because of burger. Bacon burrito tasted so bad too. Pretty sure that are serving day old leftovers. I got a burger and the meat was dry and overcooked but the lettuce and tomato were soggy and wilted. Corndog and fries were also overcooked and tasted like they were cooked in old oil. We got the pickle fries and they were cold and soggy. We also ordered ahead on the app, but still had to wait over 30 minutes after we "checked in" even though we were the only car there. I ordered the cherry limeade which came with no cherries (unfortunately I've gotten used to this as it's become the norm). The server also dropped part of our order on the ground as he brought it to us and took it back to exchange it, but came out with the replacement concerning quickly. The replacement food wasn't hot so I'm assuming they either used a replacement they already had sitting around or (more likely) they just repacked the food and sent it back out. we have tried this location so many times because it's so convenient for us, but at this point it's just not worth it. please don't waste your time or money! I suspect they will be shut down soon, so I just hope they are replaced with something better. read more

Stopped there today. Sit 15 minutes after pushing button to order. No response other than message that red bottom was activated and someone would help me. Finally asked server if something was wrong with station. She said it didn't work but didn't offer to help me. No sign and no one had decency to come out and tell me. Messed up my order twice in one visit and ended up leaving with wrong order. Ordered a cherry "burst" slushee. They brought me out a cherry lime aid and I told them it was wrong that I ordered a cherry slushee with the boba in it. Then she brought me out just a regular cherry slushee w no boba and I didn't know bc I thought it was right bc how can u mess up something so simple TWICE ? Drinks are a ripoff here. Sonic likes to advertise their deals on large drinks such as happy hour but it's a scam. My wife and I just got Rt 44s here and each was filled about 3/4 with their pellet ice. I suspect less than 12 oz of actual fluid. Well, you might way, that's how they fill their drinks and I should expect it. Nope, I even asked for easy ice (as confirmed on receipt). Have been buying ice every week at this sonic for years. Every time I go the price is different. Most times they don't give you the discount for buying 2 bags. This evening I went thru the drive thru and ordered two bags. The operator very rudely informed me "we can't sell ice right now". No explanation so I repeated "you can't sell it". And once again "yeah, we can't sell ice right now ". Had she not used such a rude tone, I would not have thought anything about it I'm not the sensitive type but this person truly needs some customer service training. A simple Explanation was all that was needed. We're out or we're running low but just "we can't sell ice right now". I went to Sonic on Hwy 58 in Chattanooga on February 21,2021 and went thru drive-thru and ordered a #4 but instead when I got home I had a #1. I didn't have a receipt and I paid with cash so I didn't take it back and a #4 cost more than a #1. I also had to tell the cashier how much money to give me back because he was going to short change me. I will never go back to this sonic again. read more

This is about the 4th or 5th time this exact same experience has happened to me at this location. I pull up to the drive through speaker, sit there for a few mins without anyone taking my order, all while saying "hello??" about 3-4 times. Finally, I get pissed off and pull into a bay instead. While I'm waiting in a bay for my food, I see the person that was behind me in the drive through, drive away with their food that they obviously had no difficulties ordering. I don't understand. Today, At 7 something I pulled up to the car pool to place my order I knew what I wanted before going there so it was a straight shot for me placing it. I started placing my order the order taker had to been new to the register. I think I came off a little rude ,so I slowed down and let her as the question in order from tater tot's or fries to my drink. After placing my order I tried to ask for condiments like ketchup. Immediately, went to my total then went off the screen. I also asked for all of it to be fresh because the last time I went at night my fries was lukewarm when delivered to me so I asked for it fresh this time to make sure when I got home it was still warm. The bag when packed and delivered to me had no napkins and straws the girl that delivered my bag came back with straws with my change than I asked is there any reason why I did not get any napkins. She said I did not bag your food but do you need some napkins so I said yes ma'am please.. she brought it back with no problem that's the only reason it is not a 1 star. She had great customer service compared to the order taker. And the person bagged my food. The food was fresh though so glad after everything. read more

we pulled up the sonic to grab a drink... sat and waited for 15 minutes with no answer after pushing the call button twice. There was no "sorry for your wait" and had to repeat the order twice (only drinks)... they were still brought out incorrect. and we waited a few more minutes to have them corrected. I just had my son pick me up a grill cheese and onion rings from the Hwy. 58 Sonic. That was the worst grill cheese I have ever had!! the onion rings were awesome but the grill cheese was dry beyond belief and was terrible. Giving a one star is better than is deserved!! read more

Our party came to the Highway 58 store about 9:30 pm. We pushed the button and waited about 20 minutes before someone came out to tell us they were closed except for the drive thru. We had a large party and wanted to eat together so we were standing there trying to decide where else to go. She came out again and told us "we're closed!" angrily. Not going back. read more
