This isn't my first time at a D&B's but this location in Chattanooga left things to be desired. The service was slow when me and loved ones sat down. It took a while for someone to come get our initial drink orders. We didn't stress it. We placed our orders which took the group a minute to decide on their orders. It seems everyone's orders were good. I ordered the black bean burger that should've come with sweet potato fries but it came with normal fries. It was fine and had no complaints. The regular fries were tasty. But the black bean burger wasn't hot, it was just room temp, and quite disappointing. I didn't complain since I was with a group. I used to come to Dave & Buster's often and always had a great time -- great food, great atmosphere, and consistent quality. It had been about a year since my last visit, and I was really looking forward to coming back. Unfortunately, this visit couldn't have been more different. The Loaded Mac came out with completely uncooked bacon -- still cold to the touch. The steak, ordered medium rare, somehow managed to be rare on one end and well done on the other -- not sure how that's even possible. To top it off, we sat for over 16 minutes after finishing our meal just waiting on the check, with no one checking back in. It's disappointing because this used to be one of those places you could count on for a solid meal and fun atmosphere. After tonight, though, it's hard to imagine coming back anytime soon. It's always great when you get the chance to be a big kid and Dave & Busters allows you to do just so. Upon entering you can purchase a power play card from a kiosk. The more you spend the better deals you get. It has gotten quite expensive to play games. Each game costs starting at like 6.5 token points. The place was clean, empty for a weekend. A few games were out of commission. I still enjoyed myself with the games we did play. We checked out prizes, didn't win enough tickets for the nice ones so we will save our card and return to another location. read more

At the mall, 2:00 on a Saturday, dealing with the mall traffic and finding a parking space, walking to the restaurant, only to be told the whole place was rented out for a private party. First, how do you rent out a whole restaurant and game room to a private party on a Saturday? It's been a while since I've been to a Dave and busters. This was the first time to this location and we came for happy hour on a Wednesday! Games are half priced (still about 4-8 credits each game though) and we got about $35 worth of credits to split as a date night. The games were okay but I was disappointed in the game selection tbh. It had your carnival games, a hunting game, fishing, fighting and racing but I was disappointed in the game selection. I'm not sure if it's just a small location but I've always remembered way more games at Dave and busters in Marietta. The HH drinks were great! It's daily from 4-7p and all liquor/cocktail drinks are included. Overall, a great weeknight hangout and date night spot but wouldn't pay full price. read more

Poor management! We have 3 kids so in every trip they want to visit Dave&buster, I'm sharing this to say we been to several .... This is the 1st one that I been told that if the machine took points but didn't work they can't help, and even after I told her (the girl with the neon glasses) said all we can do is put a "out of order" sign on that machine, I said at least that would help kids not to swipe their card and waste 10points there if if doesn't work! We stayed there over an hour after I talked to these girls, they never moved from the stand, here is the picture showing there was never a sign on the specific machine! It just shows the issue with hiring teenagers that want to do the minimum at their jobs. read more

Stopped by for some wings tonight. Not that great. The wings aren't what you see in the picture, which is meat that was cut off a chicken. My husband and I went there on Veterans Day. It was the worst. The service took forever. The food was cold. Yes I know the meal was free for us veterans. We took my adult step son. He food was worse. Went to a 60th birthday party for a friend tonight. We got there a few minutes after most of the guests (15 or so people). After chatting with others for a few minutes I started to order a beer and was told they would no longer serve alcohol to our table. I explained that I had had nothing to drink yet but the manager was unfazed, still no alcohol. She said we were too loud, in a place where you had to yell to be heard. She also commented about a chair turned over. The chair was actually accidentally knocked over by a server taking pictures for others in our party. I love Dave and Busters, always usually have a good time. I went for my birthday this last weekend and unfortunately did not feel like it was a safe environment. There were lots of people not wearing masks at all and tons of kids running around without masks. Many of the people that did have masks had them pulled down on their chin or hanging down off of their nose. It was so crowded that nobody was able to social distance as there was no timed admission or any control of capacity. It was a typical busy Saturday night. They did provide boxes of gloves for customers to use, but we were literally the only people in there wearing gloves. I never saw one staff person sanitize anything the whole time we were there. There were signs posted on select games asking groups to stick together and social distance, but it was a joke as there was no enforcement of safety precautions. Management also had signs posted that said masks were required and they even made a couple announcements over the loud speaker reminding guests that masks were required at all times except when sitting down and eating/drinking. I watched as two guys who clearly worked in management walk around with boxes of masks and assumed they were going to ask unmasked guests to put on a mask if they wanted to stay, but was horrified when I witnessed the manager walk by several unmasked groups without saying anything. Doing business is obviously more important to the Chattanooga Dave and Buster's than keeping its customers safe. I would definitely not return to Dave and Buster's right now. read more

Couple months ago, my coworkers and came to checkout this Dave & Buster's. To my personal amazement, I was absolutely shocked how decent the food is here! I wouldn't eat here all the time but what I had, the Philly Cheesesteak Sliders and Chicken Fingers was quite good. This was highly recommended by my coworkers & the server. Originally, we had planned to go eat somewhere else but because this Dave & Buster's is new in town we thought this might be fun and exciting to try something new. Little did we know we would also have a good meal. Those that had the chicken, they say chicken won ton nachos are a must have! And some else had the chicken tacos for for their entree ... the cheese & bacon stuffed jalapeño that is then deep fried & put in the bottom of the taco was unreal, as one of coworkers explained! Someone else loved the sliders. The massive screens for watching numerous sports & other programs were fun also. The arcade is a blast & the entire staff wants to make sure you enjoy your time there. After playing games for a while we decided to have dessert ... the churro sundae plate. This was definitely a new happy dessert experience for me. The cinnamon ice cream should be sold in stores! We've been coming here once or twice a week for several months, especially on half priced games Wednesday. There's a survey at the bottom of the receipt for either a free appetizer or a buy a $10 game card, get a $10 game card free. Today, I stopped by to use the BOGO game card code. The cashier was new and wasn't sure how to use the coupon. It then took 2 managers to "help" him. I showed the manager that my D&B app was missing game credits, she assured me that no credits had been taken off my account as it was impossible to do. I paid for that and I went to check my cards at the machine by the prize center, and I only had received $10 instead of the $10 + $10. I had to ask one of the managers to load my extra $10. Then I went to the machine by the exit to check my cards, and there is a card history which shows where my points were taken off my account by admin. I had to go back up to the manger to prove that my earlier statement was accurate and credits were actually taken off my account. I left frustrated by the 20+ minute process to buy a $10 game card and by the lack of managerial customer service. I shouldn't leave feeling like I am an inconvenience to your employees. read more

Dave and Busters just opened in Chattanooga right before the 'Rona hit in full swing. They immediately closed and reopened a few weeks ago. They have their stuff together. Great wait staff, great food. Great drinks. Adult Chuck E. Cheese, but fun for the kiddos as well. I've been to D&B several times in different places, but they seem to be different every time I visit. I was very impressed with how well this one ran. Quick attentive service, the nachos were on point (could've used a few more beans), and the drinks were fantastic. Definitely worth the visit. read more

This place was so much for our daddy daughter date night! We started off with dinner, we had the pretzel dogs, and the little one got a fancy blue raspberry drink with a flashing ice cube! She lives the drink and the pretzel dogs tasted just like the title. Really good. Our main dinner was a bacon cheeseburger (for myself) and Mac and cheese (for her). They were both good, no complaints there. They were really compliant with all COVID restrictions, mask worn upon entrance and taken off at the table. After dinner we played more games than we could count. She was 6 and had a blast. Will definitely be back! Excited this place is open and finally thriving! I really don't understand what was happening in the kitchen but they suck. I ordered garlic Parmesan chicken tenders and they came out naked, no biggie. I say "hey these were garlic parm, can we get that?" The waiter was like "yeah, we'll have em right out." Then about 10 mins later the kitchen comes out with a sauce cup of some melted garlic butter something and just put it on the table. I asked the waiter wtf & he said he'd fix it. It was the end of the meal, the food was cold, the tenders were nasty, I asked to have them taken off & the waiter said that his manager said they wouldn't take them off of the ticket.
