Visiting the Greater Bowling Green area and looking for dessert, we decided to give Meltdown a try…read moreand we weren't disappointed. From the outside, the muted pastels of this quaint ice cream parlor caught our attention. This small batch ice cream maker had 7-8 flavors on the day we went. I went with Cookies and Cream and enjoyed every bite. The single scoop was large enough to satisfy my sweet tooth. The old timey interior transported me to a parlor from the 1950's and I loved all of it. Well positioned across from a park, my recommendation would be to grab a scoop, walk to the park and enjoy being outside in summer. I will most definitely be back.

My girlfriend and I ordered delivery from Mellow Mushroom during our vacation in Bowling Green…read more We chose the build your own pizza, large size with one half of the pizza being pepperoni, ground beef and black olives, with the other half being mushrooms, banana peppers, and black olives. We chose the thin crust option. The toppings were plentiful but I don't believe they were evenly distributed. Also, for a thin crust pizza, I found this pizza was a little thicker than what I am used to for a thin crust pizza. I would describe it as more of a hand tossed style pizza than a thin crust pizza. It was pretty good though and larger than I had anticipated for two people. The delivery was prompt and the delivery person left it in front of our hotel restaurant as requested. I give this establishment a solid 3 1/2 stars. If I ordered again, I would opt for a medium sized considering this was probably too much for two people. Recommended!

Their salad dressings are all amazing! My favorite is the Tarragon vinaigrette, but also the ranch and the house honey mustard hot bacon are great as well. A couple seasonal specials that are delicious are the seafood gumbo soup and the banana cream pie. Their iced tea is freshly brewed and delicious. I usually get that with a lemon, but they also have a delicious menu of alcoholic beverages, including the rum punch and the bourbon mule . The wait staff is ALWAYS kind, prompt, and helpful. Tables are wiped and bathrooms are clean. Each time I go there I always see a manager walking the floor and helping out as needed. Very well-run.
