Margherita Tartufata
Thomas D.

Outside seating and pizza, perfect. Just wish they were BYOB. If you're sitting outside, service will be impacted. It was pretty bad service as we waited until we were almost done with apps to receive our first drink. For apps: Caesar Salad, good, hard to mess up. Meatballs were fantastic. Gnocchi was amazing. Pizza: Went with a classic Margherita pie, very good. Charred where it should be. Great taste. The Tartufata was almost too much. I think without the truffle cream on top, it would've been better. It's a lot. We rarely leave any food behind and half of the pie went to the garbage. I would definitely return. Next time, I would sit inside and stick with more basic pies without too many extras.

As a proud Neapolitan, I'm extremely discerning when it comes to pizza. Finding authentic Neapolitan-style pizza in the United States feels like searching for a needle in a haystack. Nothing quite compares to biting into a freshly made pie made with high-quality, imported ingredients--especially when enjoyed in the right atmosphere. The owner of Song E Napule, Ciro Iovine, clearly takes immense pride in his heritage, and it shows in every detail. From the vibrant decor honoring Diego Armando Maradona--a true legend and god-like figure to the people of Naples, still revered throughout the city--to the selection of ingredients imported straight from Italy, the commitment to authenticity is unmistakable. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the service. The staff doesn't just serve you--they welcome you like extended family. They greet you with genuine warmth, polished professionalism, and that unmistakable Italian hospitality that makes you feel at home. We laugh, we chat, sometimes hug, and we leave with full stomachs and even fuller hearts. Our sincerest thanks go to the owner for bringing such a genuine slice of Napoli to the New York area. The Rutherford, NJ location remains our favorite, thanks especially to the outstanding team: talented pizzaiolo Giampiero, whose skill and passion shine through every pizza; manager/host Omar, who we love like a younger brother. This last visit, servers Kevin and Aslihan were both exceptional. Spending time in the company of the staff at Song E Napule is always a joy. We truly feel blessed every time we walk out the door.

Italian cheesecake amazing

The food was simply delicious. The pizza is outstanding and the salad was amazing. I'm gonna leave some pictures down below, but I highly recommended especially for lunch. I will definitely be back with my friend Nick. The staff is crazy, friendly really attentive, especially Siri's

WOW pizza is actually so amazing. The crust and the general bread is perfectly thin, Neapolitan style. Chicken was thin and crispy. Pasta was alright, nothing special. Vibes were also good, local smaller restaurant with summer vibes. Service was okay, couldn't catch the server at times but overall nice. Would come again!!

Great pizza! The branzino was nice (the sides aren't my favorite) and I definitely enjoyed the calamari which wasn't overly fried or breaded - just right.

This was a lovely restaurant. I have been dying to try spaghetti nerano -- Spaghetti from Pastificio Mancini sauteed in a zucchini puree with fresh mint and basil, parmigiano reggiano vacche rosse, provolone del Monaco IGP finished with grated lemon zest It was spot on delicious. With the little sprouts on it. So refreshing. There is nowhere around that makes this traditional dish. Very much enjoyed it. The atmosphere is nice. Bread with olive oil on the table. Odd had to keep asking for pepper but oh well.

This was a special for the week. Prosciutto, guanciale, mushrooms and pure love!!

This was INSANELY GOOD!! I highly recommend Song' E Napule! I come here once or twice a quarter for work and this place never disappoints! As a bonus the service is top notch!

Great food. The pizza is thin crust and very flavorful. The meatballs are also delicious. We've tried a couple of their salads and they were both fresh and delicious. No complaints in the food. You usually need a reservation as it is a cozy little restaurant. They just added some outdoor seating so that's a nice feature during the summer months. We've been here at least 5-6 times and the only downside is the staff doesn't make you feel very welcome. They are polite, just not super friendly. So we come for the food, not the ambiance.

Wow, one of the few places here in the US that I said to myself...this takes me back to Naples!!! Absolutely fantastically executed Neopolitan style pizza and some of the best ragu genovese I've had. Rivaling some of the best in Naples. Restaurant itself is bright, with good service and a relaxed vibe. Had no issue getting a table for 3 plus high chair around 5pm. The diavola was AMAZING. such a good cook. The quality of the ingredients likely imported hence the heftier price tag but I would say without a doubt it matches the quality and value. Pasta was nicely Al dente and the flavor of the genovese led me to recognize it was cooked well and slow. Highly recommended.

Food is delicious and service is great. The place is nicely decorated and ambient is great. This is a BYOB spot with great food options. I highly recommend this spot.

pizza Porcini

A True Celebration of Ingredients! We had an exceptional lunch here today. As someone who values the "original soul" of well-crafted things, I was deeply impressed by the artisanal quality of every dish. The Spaghetti with Zucchini was a standout. Using Pastificio Mancini pasta made a world of difference in texture, and the combination of fresh mint and lemon zest provided a brightness that balanced the richness of the cheese perfectly. The Pizza Porcini was equally impressive. It's rare to find a place that uses such high-quality ingredients like Parmigiano Reggiano Vacche Rosse (Red Cow) and Provolone Del Monaco. The flavors were deep and authentic, especially when finished with the Sicilian Letizia olive oil. The atmosphere was pleasant and the service felt sincere. It is a wonderful spot for anyone who appreciates a meal where the quality of the ingredients is allowed to shine. Highly recommended for a quiet, delicious afternoon.

Love the decor and authenticity. Hands down best Margherita pizza. A great stop and looking forward to trying their NY location.

The homemade pasta with truffles was out of this world so delicious like everything else we try. Our waitress was so sweet and very knowledgeable in every dish she recommended. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, and the oversized florals surrounding the main entry make for a gorgeous photo backdrop. The food was also beautifully presented and clearly fresh. The passion fruit mango mocktail was delicious and gorgeous, the side salad was simple but incredibly flavorful, and the homemade French fry potatoes were hands-down the star of the meal. They were so good that we ordered extra sides for the table because we were all still hungry after our mains, We visited on Mother's Day with a party of eight and left feeling underwhelmed overall. My mother-in-law struggled to find anything on the menu that appealed to her and ultimately ordered the beet pasta, which she found disappointing. Several of the entrees lacked the wow factor we expected, especially at this price point. When you're spending $235 on a steak, you expect a memorable dining experience. Instead, the most talked-about items at our table were the fries, the mocktail, and the salad. Many of us were still hungry by the end of the meal, which made the final bill even harder to swallow--especially considering we didn't order alcohol. We skipped dessert at Fiorentini and headed up the street to Charlie's instead, where we enjoyed delicious ice cream at a much more reasonable price. The service was friendly, the ingredients seemed fresh, and the presentation was beautiful. We really wanted to love it, but for us the overall value just wasn't there. Another annoyance was there's only 1 rest room and a mom went in to breast feed her child and 3 of us waited in line for 30 minutes.

As for the fried calamari....I'm no stranger to this dish and I felt here the coating was just too thick & cornmeal-y if you know what I mean. The mussels in white wine sauce was very good. Entrees-- The Grilled Salmon; served w/ grilled zucchini, roasted potatoes & pesto was a disappointment. I usually never order farm raised salmon because it gets dry easy and this was the case here. Also the small roasted potatoes were dry and there was barely any pesto on it, I cannot recommend this dish. From what I've heard elsewhere, the pasta dishes are the "go to" here. Dessert-- How crazy that I had one of the best cappuccinos here ( if you like big, robust foam) And you must try to the house made cheesecake. Unlike any (heavy) Italian ricotta cheesecake I ever had, this version is very light and the consistency more like a solid flan. Excellent.
