My wife and I visit SomiSomi almost every week these days - mostly for the taiyaki and once in awhile for the soft-serve ice-cream when she sees a flavor she likes. This SomiSomi location in Frisco is much smaller than the Carrollton one; there is no place to sit, but the tall tables provide an option for customers to eat on the spot. As for service, the SomiSomi staff are always friendly and super helpful, and patient in explaining when there is a new flavor too. Since we both prefer something that is less sweet, my wife would always request her taiyaki to have less fillings. There is one particular young lady in the weekday afternoon shift who always makes perfect-shaped taiyaki.
