You know, this place is pretty cool. Not cheap, but pretty dang cool. I've walked by tons of times but rarely go out for dessert. I was walking around the Marriott pond with my daughter on my day off and it was the perfect day to try this place. What's the difference between gelato and ice cream, my daughter asks. Ask the nice man, I say, so she does. (There's also a description on the wall about gelato.) He says it's made without cream (just milk) and fresh, natural ingredients, like fresh fruit. Very natural and fresh. While I know it's Italian in origin, I don't think this dude was Italian (not that that matters!). We also ask him about flavors and Daughter tries a couple of samples. I go with pistachio and "bitter chocolate" (dark chocolate). The dark chocolate is rich and amazing. WOW. The pistachio is good but not very pistachio-forward - pretty subtle, almost like a vanilla with subtle pistachio flavor. I wouldn't get that again - but I'd definitely get dark chocolate again. Maybe I'll pair with peanut butter next time. It's pricey. Pretty small servings for the cost. Amazing product and I like how natural and "more healthy" it is vs your normal ice cream (calorie count shown for each flavor), but you definitely pay the premium for a premium product. read more

This place looks very promising so I had to geo in and give it a try . I sampled the coffee which was not great , and decide to go with the rose flavor . This one was not bad at all . Had the right gelato texture . The only thing is that it was a little too sweet . More of a 3.5/5 and I'll round it to 4 stars read more

YUM! The shop is super cute found in downtown Plano. There's white a bit of seating. Service was great! We were offered samples of whatever we wanted to try which was nice since we had never been before. Taste - 10/10. I love a fruity gelato during the hot summer months! My travels led me to Plano for the day to visit some friends and family. Upon pulling into my hotel, I glanced over and saw a sign with something gelato. My daughter, being a huge fan of gelato, suggested we have some gelato after dinner. I am not a big fan of gelato, but who am I to deny the wishes of my princess. After dinner, as promised, my family and I strolled over to the Gelato Cone and walked in. The Gelato Cone is located in the Shops at Legacy in a very affluent area. There is a lot of great places to shop and eat at nearby, so it located in a perfect spot. There was a lot of people standing outside enjoying gelato, so this was a good sign. Behind the counter was a nice gentleman and a glass case with a large selection of delicious and unique flavors. I want to say the menu had over 30 different flavors. Some of the more popular ones were out. After asking the gentleman behind the counter what he recommended (the two he suggested were Nutella and pistachio) and trying a lot of the different flavors we had made our selection. For my wife, strawberry; my daughter milk chocolate and chocolate chip with mint; my other daughter vanilla; and myself milk chocolate and chocolate chip with mint. We paid the nice gentleman, and were on our way. We were hoping to sit down and enjoy the gelato right away, but could not due to the lack of seating inside. I'm not sure if the tables were removed due to COVID, or if there were no tables to begin with. No problem, so we went outside. The two tables outside were occupied and overcrowded, so we had to walk all the way back to our hotel to enjoy our gelato. In the future, more seating would be nice. After walking back to our hotel we sat in the lobby and enjoyed our gelato. Like stated before, I am generally not a gelato fan, but this was delicious. The taste was amazing, the texture was great, and we all ate every bite. I'm very glad my daughter suggested it. I highly recommend this gelato shop for a delicious sweet treat. I went on a Thursday evening with a friend and the place was quite empty. There was no line, and not a single customer walked in during the time we were sitting outside enjoying our ice cream. They currently do not have indoor seating but there was several small tables outside. We had a good experience though. There was no staff member attending the main area, but one walked in from the back immediately when we entered. He answered our questions about flavors and was friendly. I was happy to see they had several nondairy flavors including bitter chocolate (which I did not find bitter but just right) and some fruit sorbets (berry, mango, strawberry). I got 1 scoop ($3.99) of the chocolate and berry which was tasty and the perfect level of sweetness. read more

I wanted some dessert close by and this was the closest place that was within walking distance. The inside was clean but there was no music, so it was really eerily quiet since it was just me and the worker. The gelato is decent and satisfied my sweet tooth, but there are definitely better gelato places! It got the job done. I'd only go if it's convenient but wouldn't go out of my way. read more

I was staying at the Marriott hotel across the street and decided to stop here for some ice cream. The gelato was a little over priced for one scoop. Due to covid they are not allowing you to sample anything. So i went with my gut and got the mint flavor which was ok. The strawberry and mango looked really good. Came here with my parents and when I came in the door I was hit with a terrible stench like raw sewage smell. I went further inside and tried to look at the ice cream but the horrible smell was so bad it was making my eyes water. I decided to leave since I should not be buying food from a place smelling like that. My parents decided to disregard the smell and get ice cream there anyway. Swing on by! Its summer its Texas, its HOT!!!!! We had lunch in this area and it was so hot outside we figure why not go for ice cream? Saw this corner gelato and decided to give it a shot. The Gelato Cone is my go to place for ice cream, and the best I've tried in the Dallas area. The cozy shop is a great place to hangout with friends, and the location is perfect to relax or explore more shops. The owner is incredibly welcoming, not to mention the excellent customer service! I have pretty high standards when it comes to ice cream, but this one never disappoints. The gelato is a perfect blend of stretchy Turkish Marash ice cream and smooth Italian gelato, including a variety of classic flavors that aren't heavy and just melt in your mouth; my favorites are sea salt caramel and pineapple. Have been here multiple times. They have a good selection of gelato and all I've had have been awesome! I keep going back to the peanut, espresso and coffee. It was a pleasant night so we drove over to The Shops at Legacy, found a parking spot and went in. The first thing we noticed was the sparse choices compared to Paciugo. But, we persevered. The service was excellent but the gelato was tasteless. I guess we will have to track down the nearest Paciugo. read more

Discovered this gem at Shops at Legacy. Tried the mango and the peach and it was DELICIOUS. The mango is the PERFECT refreshing, sweet, summer treat. The store is following all COVID guidelines- masked and gloved with clear markings for spacing. Highly recommend- staff very friendly. read more

This place has icecream at the perfect level of sweetness. Not overwhelmingly sweet but not unsweet. The man serving the icecream had a smile on his face even before my friends and I came in and was happy to serve us some of the best gelato I have ever tried. The man was nice and served all of our friends samples without any hesitation unlike other icecream places that would start getting annoyed. Definitely be coming back to this joint. read more

Was in town on business and was looking for some Gelato. My friends and I stopped to try it out and ended up staying for an hour trying different flavors. It was so good we went back a second night to try more flavors as well as our favorites, The 4 of us in 2 nights must have had over 40 scoops as the Gelato was so smooth and best part, low in calories. Highly recomend you stop by, try different flavors especially the Bannanna and hang out for an hour read more

Surprised that in these times they wouldn't do curbside. I asked even if I was right in front of the store and they still said no. They weren't willing to accommodate or anything. I asked a young woman for help and she was polite but not at all welcoming. I ordered one pint of Coconut and one pint of Cookie Dough. She was having a difficult time scooping the ice cream into the pint containers, so a gentleman working behind the counter as well, took over. As I watched him pack the containers I thought they looked kind of shallow. At other ice cream stores I frequent, they pack the ice cream solid and heavy. I felt like they just didn't really care, actually. I was friendly and smiling as I'm one of "those people" who wants everyone to like them! I paid for the order and tipped 15% on the register. That was the smallest percent offered unless you said "no tip" or custom. I I typically tip much more but felt like I shouldn't since they were so unfriendly. When I returned home and got the containers out to taste the ice cream, I could definitely see they weren't 16 ounces. I got my scale out to check and indeed, they came up way short. I mean...for the price? $7.99 ...$8 a pint? At least fill it up to get what you are paying for, am I wrong? I won't go back and I'm sure they couldn't care less, but for others who don't frequent centers like this one was in, you may want to know ahead of time what to expect. Taste wise? It was very creamy and good.

I asked him how much was the cake and he said $85 but there's a processing fee. I responded that that was a high processing fee and normally businesses I've interact with only charge 3% convenience fee at the most. To avoid paying the $19.63 processing fee, I paid $85 cash for my transaction but I don't think a consumer should have pay the merchant's processing fee to that extent for that amount and I got a free mango smoothie for the points I would have earned for my purchase. The mango smoothie was absolutely delicious and for that I will go back again because I haven't found anyone that makes a smoothie with real mangos and it was sweet. I will also add that their customer service was still very nice. If you are interested in getting a cake made here, it's cost effective to pay by CASH.

Luckily we managed to find parking and seating inside so we decided to get the kunefe to share because it looked so good. You can watch them make it fresh, and the smell was so buttery and delicious that we had to get it. We decided to get the classic one but there are plenty of other Kunefe options available to get. It was perfection. I liked that they have the extra pistachios and sugar syrup on the side because we had control over how sweet we wanted it to be. My mouth is watering just thinking of eating this again! I'll definitely be coming back for the Kunefe!
