If you care, love and want your pet to live. Don't take them here!!! People please do your research before taking your pet here. Several people I know have lost their pets while under the care of this veterinarian. Numerous posts on the Nextdoor app and Facebook groups share similar experiences. For example, some dropped off their small dogs for routine teeth cleanings, only to later discover that their beloved pets died during anesthesia.

The best vet experience over the years. Diagnosis and treatment plan that makes sense - in 30 minutes. Affordable... Dr.Singh is a vet from GOD

Ryder says " Thank you Dr. Singh !! "

Dr. Singh is the best Veterinarian!! My family is so blessed to have found him. He is kind and loving, he has a calm peaceful energy about him and my dogs feel that calmness and you can tell he genuinely cares. Not just about your pet, but about you. When I first met him I had to bring in my 14yr old dachshund who was very sick at the time. Dr. Singh got down on the floor and sat and loved on my dog until my dog went over on his own and sat in his lap. I had never seen anything like it! Seeing the amount of love he was giving my sweet Max brought tears to my eyes. I knew Max trusted him because Max doesn't go to any stranger. I had gotten taken advantage of by another Veteran and Dr. Singh was very honest and advised me on what I truly needed to do to help my dog. He saved me money but most importantly he saved my dogs life. Now my little puppy goes to him as well. Today Ryder was neutered and I had taken my dogs previously to the spay and neuter clinic. But Somis Vet charges the same amount and the difference is night and day ! The staff and Dr. Singh are truly the sweetest people, and you can trust them, because they actually really do care. They aren't there take advantage of you, they are there to help you and you can feel the difference. A big thank you and hug to Dr. Singh and his staff!! Xoxo

Harlee

Best Vet around, thoughtful conscientious & knowledgeable when it comes to my pup Harlee's digestive, coat, anxiety and her allergy needs. Harlee was adopted from the Camarillo Pet Shelter at the age of 2 and she had a lot of care that was needed. Dr. Singh and his staff is always so kind patient, loving & warm & caring with Harlee and always takes the time to explain care information to me and my husband and Harlee is now one year younger and her digestive, anxiety & allergies symptoms are so much better and she is really thriving.

We adopted our sweet puppy from Shelter Hope in Thousand Oaks, and they have an arrangement with this Vet. Their shots and spay will be included in the fee we paid at Shelter Hope. From the moment we stepped inside this location I knew that this wasn't a place I would've picked on my own. It's dusty and kind of generally just unkept. We have visited this vet 4 times. 1 time for her Wellness twice for her shots and one time for her spay which included more shots. We were always greeted promptly and put in a room where we always waited 20 minutes for the doctor except for the time for her spay. While Dr Singh did come in and sit on the floor with Poppy he always asked questions each time that he had asked the two weeks before. He was also random in some of the things he said. Each time in the room he stayed less then 3 minutes with us not explaining or getting to know us or our pup. Yesterday she was spayed. We arrived at the vet at 830am we were ushered into a room and then after a while Susan came in and took our pup and gave us a paper to sign and said sign it and leave it at the desk. She walks off with my pup. The consent form says that someone explained what was going to happen and how the anesthesia was going work BUT let's be clear no one explained anything to me. We pick our pup up at 330 and she's handed to me with it being clear they she had peed and had sat in it, she was wet. I told this to the receptionist and she said yes she must have gone. There was no cone on my pup when I asked and I was told the doctor doesn't recommend them. That's fine BUT how about you tell me that before I get there so then that way I can get a cone or bring her onesie so she doesn't lick her stitches. I asked about the stitches the girl tells me they need to be removed in about 10 days and I can come back there or go to any vet. I will be finding another vet happily. Every time we left this vet I was very disappointed in the general experience, and I can't express enough how happy I am that we can find her a vet that will do more of a thorough job in caring for Poppy. We love our puppy and we want her to have the best care, that kind of care doesn't seem like it can come from Somis Veterinary Hospital.

Our sweet little Marcie

Trusting our pets care to Dr.Singh has been the best choice for all of our fur babies. We recently had to make the decision of euthanizing a beloved Marcie. It was the most heartbreaking decision but Dr.Singh and his staff were so kind and compassionate. The kindness didn't end the day of ,it continues to this day by ensuring that our family is doing well thru this difficult time. We feel certain that we made the right decision for our precious Marcie. We will only intrust all of our pets with Dr.Singh and his staff.

Dr. Singh is a caring veterinarian who not only takes good care of our pets, but also takes care of us by keeping our costs low.

I couldn't be more disappointed. We took my daughter's horse to this hospital in an emergency…read moresituation, after a total blender and misdiagnose by Conejo Valley equine. Dr. Giacapuzzi talked a big talk... but proceeded to gouge a massive hole in the hoof... when asked why such a brutal and invasive approach, the doctor claimed that his tools were dull and just weren't cutting the way they should... WTF? Two days in their " ICU", I get a call saying that it's time to come put my daughter's horse down. The doctor kept on talking about how we were just a referral from another doctor (which we were not ) and that he felt uncomfortable working on my daughter's horse because he didn't want to step on the other Veterinarian's toes. He suggested that if we didn't put her down that night, then we should take the horse back to the unsanitary barn where she got the infection and let the other Veterinarian come out to the barn to check on the Horse whenever we felt necessary... WTF? He was so concerned about not stepping on the toes of another local Veterinarian that he was willing to give up doing the right thing for my daughter's Horse. Completely unethical, unprofessional, and inhumane When we realized Dr Giacapuzzi wasn't willing to do anything to help our horse, we immediately trailered her to Alimo, a specialized medicine hospital in Los Olivo ca. She's now on the road to recovery with absolutely no thanks to Dr. Giacapuzzi and his team. Do yourself and your Horse a favor and use anyone other than this veterinary practice or Conejo equine

I decided to do so to share my experience and allow an opportunity for growth. I wanted to be proactive so I am thankful this wasn't an emergency. My pup has extreme allergy issues. I recently moved to So Cal from No Cal and started a new vet relationship. I explained to Dr. C what the pups experience had been and what I needed. I thought that went well. Scheduled a follow up visit to check in and review protocol as this is when his allergies take a bad turn. I specifically requested Dr c again and was told to come on a Tuesday. I arrived 10 mind ahead of appt to give them time to check me in and to be respectful of their time. First - Dr C wasn't even scheduled to work that day. It appears they may have double booked as there was another couple waiting with their pup. We both were taken to a room and the other couple were seen right away. I waited over half an hour and nothing. When I stepped out to ask if the vet tech could at least vaccinate the pup that seemed to throw everyone for a loop. Please no it is a large and appears to be quiet office. Many people seem to have not a lot going on and it appeared as if I may be disturbing then rather that being a paying customer with a request. When after standing around and nothing seemed to be happening other than just wait around. I thought this wouldn't work and left and got what seemed not of pure intent with a have a good day. If you are a parent you know what I mean when I say tone wasn't genuine. Now I am not angry just disappointed at people lack if care and kindness. I chose to drive further looking for a responsive and kind business. For me, this is not it. I was able to start service with a new vet within 2 miles from where I live. My message, be kind but expect the same in return. If not, go somewhere else. That is all we can do.
