But if you take a walk through the hallways of Eton, you'll be so pleased to stumble into Mulholland & Sachs. Everything in the store is made in America, which wins immediately in my book. They have a beautiful selection of homewares, bridal gifts and accessories/jewelry. While they carry items by artists and other small makers, they also have well known brands like Kate Spade. They also have gorgeous stationary and student/office accessories. It's also a monogram dream...for everything from monogram cheeseboards and other entertainment pieces. They can do lovely monogram accessories of all types on items like jewelry boxes, serving trays and more. In the back of the store, they also have a section to do custom pillows with Greek lettering. It immediately reminded me of the famous Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan, Italy with its stunning glass ceiling, intricate ironwork and elegant old world charm!And OMG, can we talk about that CEILING?! The enormous glass skylight stretching across the entire arcade is absolutely GORGEOUS! The natural light pouring through the glass, the beautiful metal framework, and the incredible symmetry make this place feel like something straight out of a European architectural magazine! Oooffff...The details are what REALLY stole my heart! Those sophisticated vintage-style lamps with their warm golden glow, the beautifully decorated iron railings, the slender columns, the multiple levels of balconies, and the grand staircases are simply STUNNING! Every little corner has so much character and elegance!
