    Gorgeous store.
    Lauren K.

I am absolutely smitten with Something Different. My biggest regret is that I didn't stop in sooner. Seriously, had I known how fabulous it was, I would have been saving the run around for gifts and doing it all here. To begin, the owner, Koula is absolutely lovely. She offered me a glass of wine, was extremely welcoming, and her husband even offered to run out to my car and put an extra quarter in my meter! This store is gorgeous and you can spend a lot of time lost in here. Koula has partnerships with several local artists and displays their products beautifully throughout the store. Its so hard to describe her inventory, because everything is so special and unique! I purchased a delicious smelling Honeybee soap, 3 bright colored scarves, and a Starry Night umbrella. Koula also does gift-wrapping-- and while I told her my items were just for me, she still packaged them neatly with cute ribbon. You can literally find everything here, ranging from high-end art, to affordable and unique jewelry to artisan salt and pepper shakers. And if you can't find a beautiful and classy gift here, you can't find it anywhere. I'd also be remiss if I didn't mention their wedding selection! I was so happy to report to my friends (a gay couple), that they had cake toppers for his wedding! Really stylish ones, nonetheless. I also loved their selection of classy wedding cards and small gifts. We're so lucky to have this thoughtfully curated shop on West 25th. This is my new go-to place!

    My new hat!

But if you take a walk through the hallways of Eton, you'll be so pleased to stumble into Mulholland & Sachs. Everything in the store is made in America, which wins immediately in my book. They have a beautiful selection of homewares, bridal gifts and accessories/jewelry. While they carry items by artists and other small makers, they also have well known brands like Kate Spade. They also have gorgeous stationary and student/office accessories. It's also a monogram dream...for everything from monogram cheeseboards and other entertainment pieces. You can also do a wedding registry in the store! But what really impressed me was there customization selection. They can do lovely monogram accessories of all types on items like jewelry boxes, serving trays and more. In the back of the store, they also have a section to do custom pillows with Greek lettering. The fabric is super thick and the pillow is quality. OMG! If any of you know how hard it is find to sorority-licensed merchandise, you're likely gasping with excitement right now, too. Definitely will be stopping in again the next time I need an elegant gift for an engagement, wedding, sorority sister, or college student.

I finally visited this jewelry and boutique store on a Sunday in April 2023. They have limited hours and I can never visit during the week when I'm working so I'm glad that I finally came to visit. I believe I bought something small as a gift for someone when I originally visited but I can't remember as I'm writing this review over a year later. I didn't realise that Océanne opened a second store location in 2021 in the Pinecrest mall on the east side and they also now have a Westlake location (Crocker Park Mall) which opened in 2024. This first location in the Gordon Square neighbourhood of Cleveland opened in October 2017. ITEMS -- They sell various items from vegan nail polish, cute shirts and dresses, candles, mason jar cups, hats, books, sweaters, baby clothes, and of course, jewellery. Their jewellery is made right there, in-house. Customer service was wonderful when I first visited in April 2023 - the employee working answered my questions and she was very friendly. I visited recently again in December 2024 just to browse the store but I didn't buy anything. The Femme Libre (free woman) t-shirt looks cute. ABOUT THE OWNER -- "Born in southern France, Anne's journey led her to Cleveland in 2002, where she married Doc Harrill. In 2006, with her husband's support, she established Océanne, blending French elegance with the vibrancy of the American Midwest. Each meticulously crafted piece reflects Anne's commitment to craftsmanship, comfort, and functional beauty. From minimalist to whimsical designs, Océanne's jewelry is an expression of individuality, helping clientele look good, feel good, and do good. The brand gained popularity in Cleveland, leading to the opening of the Gordon Square storefront in 2017 and a second at Pinecrest in 2021." I can't wait to visit again and purchase a small piece of jewelry. **** GOAL of 365 reviews in 2025 - 13/365 total reviews in 2025 - 794 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 1 January 2025

It's every woodland fairy's dream, there are so many gorgeous nature inspired accessories, home goods, purses, and toys. The store is a perfect destination for high-quality one-of-a-kind gifts where you can buy a unique item, a card, some chocolate, quirky socks, and even fabric flowers. It's one of those spots that feels like a hidden gem. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with that cozy, welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay and look around longer than you planned. I only planned to stop in for a few minutes but wandered forever. The shop is small but packed with personality. There were shelves full of quirky, thoughtful, and often hilarious gifts--everything from locally made candles and clever greeting cards to colorful mugs and Cleveland-themed merch. You can find beauty products, stickers, pins, home goods, puzzles, knit socks, like everything. It felt like every corner had something fun to discover, and I ended up grabbing a cute velvet makeup bag (great value, only $18). One of the coolest parts is that it also doubles as a shipping center in case you'll want to send something to your loved one. I chatted with the owner while checking out, and found her to be very friendly and genuine. It had that community feel--like a place people come to not just shop, but connect. Overall, Olie's is the kind of neighborhood shop I wish every community had: fun, useful, local, and full of heart. I'll definitely be back for greeting cards and gifts. Parking note: You can find street parking in the area or park in two nearby lots off Lee Road.
