It is not free parking, they charge $10 and can go in/out, do not throw out the paper they gave you. The food prices in the festival is super pricey so I suggest leaving and get food outside the festival. Make sure to get the wristband to re-enter the festival. A virgin Piña colada costs $25!! I am disappointed that they dont have an actual person to pick up phone and they didnt post on site that the morning launch were not going to happen. We got there at 9am and then left a few hours later, came back 6:30pm for the last launch of the day. There is so many people and leaving was the parking lot was a chaos.

There were over a hundred vendors on site giving out freebies, samples, and games for a change to win bigger prizes. It is a nice marketing event for all the companies. The hot air balloon in the skies portion was the anchor of the event but be mindful, that it is subject to change based on weather conditions. Unfortunately, it was gusty this past Saturday and the hot air balloons did not get to fly up in the air. However, they blew up the balloons to let everyone see what balloons they have - Red Angry Bird, 35th Birthday Cake, Pepsi, Wonder Bread, and etc. I appreciate the effort! This past weekend had a beautiful sunset in the field so it was photo worthy for any picture-taking lovers out there! Overall, a nice family outing event. I would not mind coming back next year and hopefully, they will be in the air. For anyone interested, purchase the tickets in advance through Groupon beforehand for a deal, if available.

This is the best flight school in the area by far! My son chose it because he wanted to learn how…read moreto fly in congested airspace (meaning he would not be intimidated by flying almost anywhere). We interviewed many flight schools in the area and Certified was the clear choice. The planes are relatively new with current Garmin avionics, well maintained and the flight instructors are simply the best. They tailor their instruction to the student, so that students that learn more quickly earn their license faster, while students that need more support get the help that they need (other flights schools follow a rigid curriculum with little ability to differentiate for the individual student). After you earn your license here, they also make it very easy to transition into the Cirrus aircraft, which is the aircraft of choice for flying any appreciable distance with passengers (they also rent these). The staff is welcoming, supportive and professional. In addition, the Morristown Airport (MMU) community is fantastic. While it is primarily a business aircraft airport, it is very supportive of civil aviation (I strongly urge all students to join the Morristown Aviation Association - a group that spans business and civil aviation at MMU). The FAA tower is also very supportive of student pilots, and students that learn to fly here will be able to fly into any airport with confidence, professionalism and safety. In short, there simply is no better place to learn to fly than here at Certified at Morristown!

The worst flight school ever. They will jerk you around and milk you for as long as they can…read more I spent 2 years of time and money working towards my private pilot at this flight school. After completing all my requirements, they told me I needed to improve landings, maneuvers, and procedures. The flight instructor became an issue, and when I asked for a different instructor, the school refused. The school's owner kept telling me that I needed to study more before the school would sign off for my check ride. This, even though I passed the FAA written exam with a grade of 92 and passed repeated mock orals. In addition, their airplanes are old, most from the late 1960s and early 1970s, and not in good shape. Many have issues such as the flap indicator being inoperative or the flap switch sticking, the inoperable turn coordinator, problems with the attitude indicator, and inoperable navigation lights and strobes. You'll get nowhere near a private pilot certificate with this school. - there are much better and more honest flight schools in the area. Then I went to a well-known flight school that had two separate instructors access my abilities - that school determined I was ready for my check ride.

Steer clear. There are much better flight schools in the area. This place is a money pit…read more They milked my child for months and never got him even close to getting his license. I was told by a third party they only graduated one student last year and use him as a 'poster boy' to get people to sign up for endless lessons.

I asked that he inspect the aircraft and asvise as to what was needed to make it again flight worthy and that I wanted to sell the aircraft. My specific concerns were cleaning out all bird nests and the like to minimize corrosion and such. I was told that he would have it into be inspected and worked on within 4-6 weeks. Despite repeated calls, he didn't pull the aircraft into the hangar for inspection until Oct of 2023. In Jan 2024, he informed me they had hit a snag in finding parts as the manufacturer was out of business. He indicated they had spent a good deal of time and money (without keeping me apprised along the way) and were at an impass, but would continue seeking a solution and keep me posted. Having heard nothing in quite a while, I contacted Jim in May, 2024 a full 14 months since he had agreed to help get the plane up and running. Jim informed me they had moved the FBO to a neighboring airport and they had the log books. I asked Jim for a breakdown of current expense and status. He said he would get that to me. Not once did Jim ever convey to me their hourly rate (outrageous) or where things stood as work progressed, until such time as they hit a wall having spent substantial money. I never received an invoice. All this while I had been seeking a buyer as Jim had indictated he would help. Communications remained silent. Early May 2025, I began receiving calls and texts concerning purchase of the aircraft. A gentleman (Brad) said he would help me find a buyer to purchase the aircraft. Within a few days he found a buyer. He also became aware of an open invoice (that was NEVER presented to me) and negotiated a settlement with the Fly ADVANCED CEO that i reluctantly agreed too. The buyer reached out to me and we proceeded with the transaction. In the meantime, Fly Advanced filed an improper lien other aircraft, despite Brad's assurances that a deal had been negotiated. This improper and unwarranted lien attempt, caused unnecessary headache and delay. In summarry, Fly Advanced delay, lack of communication and general over all unprofessionalism, created angst, lost opportunity and disgust for all involved. The experience has 100% insured I will never again have or encourage any interaction with the Fly Advanced organization or their affiliates.

When I was searching to take flying lessions, I research every available operation in the Philadelphia area.
