Aircraft scheduling is straightforward and flexible, which makes a huge difference when balancing flying and your daily life. The instructors are experienced, approachable, and easy to learn from. There's no intimidation here, just solid instruction in a relaxed but professional environment. Between the aircraft rentals and training options, they're also connected with a cafe. You can grab a bite to eat and unwind a bit before your next flight!

I should have known there were going to be issues when I had a hard time booking a discovery flight. I wanted the flight on a certain date, so I wanted to book almost 3 months in advance to guarantee the date. First, I went to the location, but no one was there and a young guy who worked in the same building the place is located told me that no one was there yet, even though they were supposed to have been open over an hour earlier. When I asked him what time they usually arrived, he said around 12 or so, he called it more of a "retirement job". I finally did get to speak to someone, and they told me that they didn't book out that far and to call back a few weeks before the date that I wanted. I did get it booked but not for the date I wanted, it was a birthday gift and i didn't want to chance not getting that date, so I planned something else for that day. The date came for the flight, and it got cancelled due to winds, no problem, I'm not a meteorologist, so we rescheduled. The day of the flight they cancelled again. This time they said storms were in the area. The weather was perfect that day! Not a cloud in the sky and no bad weather for hundreds of miles. I CAN read a radar and a weather report. I asked for a refund and got the runaround for over a month. I had to send a demand for payment letter before I got any real response. I finally did get a refund, of course they claimed that the gift certificate was for me (even though it states from me to someone else), and charged me fees. But, at least I got most of my money back and know to stay away from this company! Horrible all the way around.

He called to book his appointment and then called the day of to make sure that the weather was good for flying. We came down and arrived about a half hour early. We walked in and were quickly greeted. They took us right out to the plane despite being early. Ken was my dads instructor and he was amazing. He let us take all the pictures and videos we wanted. He and my dad inspected the plane and all the equipment for about ten minutes and then they got ready for take off. My mom and I were able to watch the take off and landing from the ground next to the runway. My dad had a total air time of about 50 minutes and he said he was in control of the plane once they were in the air! After the flight, they gave my dad a log book with his logged flight from today. The staff was so incredibly friendly and my dad couldn't be happier. I can't thank the staff enough for making my dads experience amazing and this is truly the best gift I have ever gotten anyone. I can't wait for my dad to come again and I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking to fly!

Of course the fact that he is retired Air Force and was a flight engineer probably attribute to the fever. They are really nice and make you feel comfortable and as an added bonus (at least I thought) for a small fee you can take a passenger along on your lesson!

From day one, Lou has shown a level of patience, professionalism, and dedication that sets him apart. Whether we were working through pattern work, airspace, or emergency procedures, he took the time to explain concepts clearly and always matched my pace of learning. He doesn't just teach--you can tell he wants you to succeed. What I appreciated most was how calm and collected he stayed, even when I was still getting my bearings (and my radio calls!). He creates an environment where it's okay to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow from them. Thanks to Lou, I've not only gained practical flying skills but also the mindset of a safe and thoughtful aviator. Highly recommend him to anyone serious about becoming a confident pilot.
