This was absolutely terrifying and at no time did the center nor district director attempt to rectify the situation and just said sorry and that they would write up the two teachers that failed their protocol of doing a face to name check going out and coming back in the building. This just goes to show that just having bodies and not qualified intelligent individuals are sought out after for the care of our children. No one knew where she was when we couldn't find her when we went to pick her up until my husband walked past a window and my daughter saw him and immediately started hysterically crying. Total neglect. To make matters worse there is no transparency made to the parents of this incident and what actions will be conducted moving forward to avoid this from happening to another child and instead is all hush, hush. Unless you decide to disenroll your child, don't expect a call expressing a sincere apology or rectifications to any of your concerns or serious ill events such as if your kid gets forgotten outside completely alone. The assistant director was the only one with the decency to call and actually ask how our daughter, myself and husband were doing. Although she was also ultimately responsible for this horrific event, she is the only one that owned up to this mistake. Not the teachers, not the director, nonetheless the district director. If you're a parent of Kindercare I suggest questioning all of your gut feelings and having them addressed immediately. I have seen videos of same exact instances with Kindercare in another state and other daycare establishments with news stations involved for children being left outside for a total of 3 to 8 minutes during the day! Can you imagine how serious this is for 28 minutes in the cold and dark?! What could have happen that didn't, thank god?! Let this sink in as you read all the other positive reviews as did I. It takes seconds to make a life altering mistake for a family that entrusts their heart, body and soul with utter and complete strangers. Shame on you all. Our daughter is 2.5 and couldn't tell us what happened during that 30 minute time frame she was outside in the dark nor are there cameras over looking the playground with gates open at all times incase of an "emergency". All other centers have alarms on the gates at the very least. Simple, cheap, effective way to avoid kidnappings when your kid is forgotten outside by their caretakers. An investment that will hopefully be made very soon after this inexcusable mistake.

If you ever put your kids safety as your priority and question/complain they will kick you out. Believe me, we don't want to pay people all this money to be constantly stressed out over our Children's safety and well-being only to be treated this way by people who clearly don't care about children. At the end of the day this is a business for them and they will do whatever it takes to make it seem like they are not at fault and protect their employees. I find it interesting that another review with 1 star also had a similar experience and was asked to leave because she complained! I also had a daughter in the infant class and there was 1 teacher in particular who was not equipped to handle infants properly and when I expressed my concern, that teacher was so rude and nasty with both me and my husband. Anytime we came to drop off or pick up our daughter she would roll her eyes, ignore us, or give us attitude. It's sickening that these people are in the business of "taking care of children. As for the teachers, and assistants; I don't know many people who are Selfless enough to love a child who isn't their own, after meeting my sons teachers (and assistants), I can safely say that I have met a handful of them; their patience, kindness, and nurturing personalities make it at ease for me to drop off my son. Apple hill review…read more Would give apple hill 0 stars if I could! My family usually loves to build up others and their businesses, so this was very difficult to write. We sent our young daughter to Apple Hill and trusted the staff with our baby girl. However, I am heartbroken to say that she is about to turn 2 years old, and on her birthday will be littered with welts and bruises. It breaks my heart when we look back on photos of this milestone she is going to ask me "daddy why so I have so many injuries?" The staff at Apple Hill was not only condescending, but dismissive of our constant concerns of our daughters repeated injuries. (It also seemed the language barrier between us was something they heavily used to their advantage). I want to be very clear that I understand that toddlers are still learning to walk and are not always stable on their feet. I understand that sometimes babies do get hurt. But there is a difference between the occasional bump and scrape versus consistent and nearly constant injuries on a nearly daily basis. Not to mention, this facility should be baby proof! I expect if she falls she would be protected! Her injuries were constant. I had clients at my job questioning me as to why every time they saw my daughter she had a new injury. Some of these clients see my daughter once or twice a month! She was picked up 2-3 days in a row with new lumps on her head. The black eye she received has left a scar. Each time I look at it, I feel I failed her. The worst part was seeing my daughter so badly bruised, knowing the people that were supposed to protect her were the ones who couldn't give me any answers. When I asked for documentation, they had none when I asked for video they had none. They also suggested watching the live stream video from their lobby, but if I was able to sit and watch my daughter all day from their lobby, I would've had her in my home where I knew she would be safe. Instead, I was working to give her the best life possible. Instead of listening and trying to reassure us, they downplayed our feelings and tried to pass off some of these wounds as bug bites. However, after taking her to a doctor, it was confirmed they were welts and bruises and not bug bites. Sadly, I do not feel comfortable, leaving our daughter in their care anymore, as they had no idea what was going on with her. I fear I will never know if it was a staff member, another child, or unsafe facilities. I also learned many new things about this facility only after my concerns were brought to light, such as at the end of the day all ages of children are brought together, and the teachers couldn't explain how she got hurt which means they weren't watching her. I don't write this review to hurt them because tarnishes a reputation doesn't bring me joy, I write it to hopefully protect another child from injury.

As a current staff in the building, children can be difficult and it's hard when we have a lot of children at once but we make it work and make them feel safe throughout the day. We dedicate our time to these students and make sure that they are well taken care of. My child loves going to school and I wouldn't change going anywhere else for her. This is one of the best daycares and the tuition is reasonable.
