I've eaten at this location about 10 times now. The staff are friendly, the restaurant is clean. The accuracy of my orders has been about 95% perfect. The price of the food is on the higher end of reasonable for the quality of the product. Their tortillas are fresh, beans, rice, salsa all meet expectations. The meat is edible but very bland. I order the carne asada all the time and tonight it was basically steamed meat chunks. Not a deal breaker, just not impressed with some of their food quality control. Hadn't been here before and wanted to try a new fast food in the area. The place was clean and the service was beyond expected for fast food. Our food was brought to our table with metal utensils, and we were asked to leave everything on the table when done. Bathroom was also clean Onto the food itself. I appreciated the all day breakfast and got a carne asada breakfast burro and a crispy chicken taco. both were good, but I would go back for the taco. The food has always been very good here but recently they have had some issues with seasoning or the lack there of I'd say. We get carne asada and machaca beef breakfast burritos. My wife orders over the app and every time she orders she requests the salsa verde and pico d gallo. We've never received the pico and only one time did we get salsa verde without asking again for it at pick up. Today wasn't any different other than the burritos were both very bland the meat didn't have any flavor to it at all and the machaca was like roast that was just pealed of the boiled slab of meat, no seasoning! My family has been huge fans of Someburros for many years. The quality of the food is excellent and reasonably priced for the large portions. We usually get the taco salad or any of the burritos. We order ahead on the app but there is a drive thru as well as a dining area inside. Service is always friendly and the food is always ready at the time promised. Ordered food, paid ( when I knew it was going to go bad didn't get a receipt) then when asked to go park in the front (which they always mess the order up, biggest reason I hate leaving the window cause you can check and correct there) then got my cold ugly looking burritos!! So then to watch 2 cars pull in the spots after me and 3 other cars go through the line and get their food it's no wonder my food was cold. I recently visited Someburros with high hopes for a hearty Mexican meal but they really should change the name to SomeChintzyBurros I ordered what I thought would be a burrito that would fill my adult hands but instead was given a snack for a toddler. The burrito was so stingy with its contents that it felt like I was unrolling a tortilla with a side of air. There was more tortilla than filling! The carne so sparsely distributed that each bite was a gamble. Sometimes you'd get a taste of something, and other times, just the bland tortilla. Now I normally don't do one star reviews but stay tuned... this is my third time eating at this restaurant and each time I've ordered beef enchiladas. So I know how they usually come. These ones came with the beef on the outside (not the inside like usual) and they added Machaca beef with all the peppers which the other two times it was plain shredded beef (no peppers) so these were probably recycled from someone else's order being just cheese and they threw the wrong beef on top and gave them to me. This is a 1* all day as I actually don't even like peppers in my food like this. I'll be leaving the 1*for awhile before I give it another chance. read more

The only saving grace about this resturant is the customer service and the chips and salsa. The chicken enchilada was tiny and smothered in some sort of greasy brown slop and the mini chimi's are indeed that. Mini and mostly fired tortilla. Been eating at various Someburros restaurants for 30 years now. Generally, it is always good food. But....the new San Tan Valley Someburros has an issue. I think it is management. (Mind you, this is about the Someburros at Combs and Gantzel -- NOT the one in Queen Creek on Ellsworth.) Today I got a burro from the San Tan place. It was burned. No. If you burn the tortilla then you THROW IT AWAY before you put the meat on it. Terrible service. Also, the tortilla, even in places that were not burned, was very hard to cut -- this is indicative of an OLD tortilla. They get gummy and stretchy. Terrible service. And...I got my burrito with no guacamole. There is no price rebate, that's understandable IF IF IF you put more sour cream in its place. I covered this with Tim (one of the owners) a long time ago. Why does the restaurant regress to cheap styles. Someburros is a great restaurant. Don't let bad management destroy the idea. Bought a bean and cheese burrito a tub of guacamole. Second or third time from same restaurant. I have never ever had an issue with the food at any Someburros restaurant. Except now. Not sure what is in the guacamole but it tastes different. This is the second time this has happened. First tub I threw away because it tasted horrible. Second purchase was Dec 5th. My husband made the purchase or else I would never have bought the guacamole. Once I taste something and it's bad I will never purchase again. Long story short guacamole tastes disgusting not sure like what. I put in the fridge and was going to ask my husband to taste it. I completely forgot about it. Maybe 8 days later I saw it sitting in the fridge. I opened it looked at it. Weird no change not brown absolutely no change. Closed container put back in fridge. 3 days later my son took out container said it tasted weird. I should have thrown it out by now. But, there was no change in color or consistency nothing no change. I put it back in fridge just to see if it would eventually turn brown but it hasn't. Called store for information asked to talk to manager left number manager never called back. Called today was told of ingredients in the guacamole. I know the ingredients what I'm concerned about is what is in this batch. Why after so many days since I made purchase on Dec 5 it's the first of January and no change in guacamole same color same consistency etc. anyone else notice anything different? Every single time I come here, there's an issue. They're weirdly stingy with the salsa, and the staff is consistently rude--especially Laura. She'll just stand there watching instead of helping while I sit waiting at the window. I've literally had to back up to the speaker again because she doesn't do her job.
