I've been coming here for years and recently tried to redeem a Groupon. I booked my appointment over the phone with who I thought was an employee or owner of this location. He took down my Groupon redemption code and told me that my appointment was set. I was told that Groupon's weren't able to be redeemed on weekends, so we decided upon this Tuesday. I came in today and it was a pretty routine session and when I came out to leave a tip, I was told I would not be able to use my Groupon redemption code even though that's exactly what I used to even book the appointment over the phone. They told me that I was unable to redeem the code because I was not a first-time customer. They called an owner or manager from another location who after going back-and-forth with me, said that there was no point in us arguing because I was just going to go and write a negative review. The thought of leaving a review never crossed my mind. But after he said that, I thought it was a great idea. All I really wanted was for them to honor our prior conversation from a week ago. Since it was brought to my attention that this is something I could leave a review about I will do so. This will be my last time coming to this location. It's been a good couple years. This is not to discourage anyone from booking, but rather to encourage you all to read the fine print on the Groupon. Because even if you have a verbal conversation with someone on the phone and get confirmation that your appointment is booked, there are chances that they will not honor it. Especially if you are a loyal customer. Unfortunately, all of the relaxation I gained from the massage is now out of the window :)

I've been in three rear end car accidents and have severe pain in my neck, shoulders/traps, and shoulder blades everyday but my one hour therapy massage + hot stones with her was so healing. We tried out a trendy viral massage salon we saw on Instagram and it was the worst massage we paid $300 for.. such a waste of money, not undoing any knots. So we saw a HUGE difference when we came here. It deserves so much more recognition and everyone needs to try this place and also support the couple. But I want to leave an honest review so that Soya can improve and give transparency to those who may visit in the future. I get massages a LOT, so I have a lot of experiences to compare this to. I tried this place as it was convenient. The establishment was warm, I appreciate the AC was turned on once my session began, but it was still very warm and only cooled down a bit. The massage was not good. I was fully clothed (they provided an outfit) and the masseuse just rubbed, squeezed and pressed onto my body, there were no true techniques used to massage knots or even in a therapeutic or relaxing way. It was not what I expected, usually I have a bare back when I get massages. I don't think the gentleman massaging me is trained. It kind of felt like one of those half-effort quick shoulder squeezes my fiancé gives me while I'm sitting on at my computer and he's checking in on me. If you're looking to just lay there and kind of zone out, this might be the place for you. Maybe. But if you're looking for an effective and solid / real massage, I do not recommend.

I left this place more tense than when I arrived and extremely disappointed…read more I booked a 90-minute Swedish massage and clearly requested light pressure, no finger pulling, and no spine or knuckle popping. I told both the front desk and Pulsri directly. Despite that, she massaged far too hard. I repeatedly asked her to go lighter and told her she was hurting me. She would adjust briefly, then go right back to being too rough, or just move to a different area instead of fixing the issue. She also popped my back and tugged on my fingers multiple times after I explicitly said not to. The headrest was stuffed so there was no opening to breathe. I pointed it out at the start and kept readjusting, telling her it was uncomfortable and hard to breathe, but nothing was fixed. When she saw me move my head she kept asking if I was okay. I expressed my problem but she went right back to massaging instead of fixing the headrest. At the end, while I was still lying there naked under a thin sheet, Pulsri asked if I was tipping in cash or Zelle and continued standing there after I said I'd tip outside. It was uncomfortable and inappropriate. There were also multiple signs in the tiny room stating a $30 minimum tip. Then she stood extremely close while I logged into my phone to send it, ignoring my requests for space and making me uncomfortable about my personal information. This experience was painful, stressful, and unprofessional. I would like a full refund. I now need another massage just to undo the tension this one caused.
