It was an encounter with the body, which I had long since gotten out of the habit of. I felt warmth, current, a slight shudder, a response in the lower abdomen. But most importantly, it was beautiful. The master seemed to be keeping the line between passion and meditation, without going to either extreme. I left there with a slight dizziness and the feeling that I had been in another dimension.

Great prices, super clean and efficient. I have my favorite pair of hands at The Sense in the name of Chris, but plenty of massage therapist on hand. If they are all like Chris, then you are in good hands (pun intended). One minor small complaint, it can get kinda loud? with employees walking in and out of their breakroom and chatting, doors closing etc, but it is very minimal, but noticeable. Other wise this place is a fantastic treat.

I think I was lucky to get a same day appointment. That said I'd recommend calling at least a few days in advance. Richard is located in K-town on the third floor of an older building. The parking lot is safe and free. Once you pull into the lot, security guards will tell you where to park. Richard started the session by asking a few questions to better understand my needs, sensitivity, and preferences. He used multiple techniques, communicated throughout the session, and is simply a master of massage. It's difficult to describe exactly what he does because it's a combination of acupressure, shiatsu, and deep tissue. Let's just say this isn't one of those relaxing Swedish massage type situations where you fall asleep. Richard intuitively works out tight muscles and really gets to the core of the tension. All I can say is I feel so much better and lighter after just one session. Highly recommend! LOCATION: 5/5 SERVICE: 5/5 VALUE: 5/5 AMBIANCE: 4/5 CLEANLINESS: 5/5 PARKING: 5/5
