This place is a total spam. Do not go here is you desire a "real" massage. I made an appointment today with a male masseur. I'm male and am more comfortable with a same sex masseur. I arrived and the masseur started the massage which was totally lame. It was to be an hour session. He started with almost no pressure and asked me to turn over to do my other side at the 12-15 min point. I informed him that the massage was to be 60 min. I was not sure that he understood me as I was not sure that he spoke English at all. I turn me over and quickly attempted to sexually arouse me. I pushed his hand away. Shortly after that he was called out and a female masseuse entered. Her technique was more professional but she too was attempting to arouse me. There have been other experiences there but generally the massages were thorough but towards the end of the massage the masseur suggests that if I tip belted they'll do a happy ending. Just walked out of here, the worst place ever, do not come here. First the lady showed me the prices. Then another lady said oh it will be 60.00 and I said no I want the 55.00 package as it says on the pricing , then she proceeded to say okay. The package I got was 30 minutes. I put a timer on to make sure I would get my full 30mins. I've been to this location three times now. I've had only positive experiences. The first two times i went, I got Jacob. He was super intuitive and gentle, when needed. Today, Jacob was massaging someone else, so I got Anthony. He was quiet as a mouse. He asked me what intensity I wanted and he complied. He was thorough and took his time. I don't feel cheated, like you sometimes get when you've got a clock watcher. At one point, I asked him his name (he didn't introduce himself when he entered.) I told him that I had been there before and he even offered to switch out and have Jacob finish up. There was no need, since he was doing a great job. On the way out, he introduced me to Fernando, another masseur. (Fernando looks real strong, i might have to give him a try next time!) I could barely hear the music, which is a blessing. Sometimes the music is so loud/repetitive that it detracts from the feeling of relaxation. Even at the risk of sounding like a total jerk, if I could give zero stars, I would. I came here once for a 90 minute combination massage and it was a great experience (it cost $80 and I tipped $20). I just went back today for the same treatment and the woman who came in immediately asked me "so how much are you going to tip me?" Her tone was harsh and accusatory. I was totally thrown but I answered I was planning to tip $20. She then proceeded to interrogate me about whether I had been here before, who massaged me, and how much I tipped previously. She then said "you will tip me $30 for a 90 minute massage or if you tip me $20, I will only massage you for an hour." Mind you, they collect payment (cash only) before the massage. I told her that that's not how tips work and that I paid for 90 minutes, so I should receive a 90 minute massage regardless of how much I tip. She then told me that my previous masseuse not only remembered me from the one time I had been here previously weeks ago, but also remembers that I under-tipped her and apparently the whole staff had complained about me. I think most of you would agree that a 25% tip is plenty appropriate. That's when I told her to stop touching me, that her behavior was totally unprofessional and disrespectful, and that I would not be returning. And I won't. WHEW CHILD, it's been an hour since this happened and I am still heated. It was truly some of the worst customer service I've received at any establishment ever. Long story short, DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR BUSINESS. There are plenty of other massage parlors nearby operated by gracious, kind, and professional people who will take much better care of you. it's uncomfortable admitting this publicly but i strive to provide accurate and useful reviews (this is only my second ever), so here we go. unassuming and a little difficult to find, this massage spot has a colorful sign that just says "Thai Massage" in the corner of a strip mall on a corner along a not-very-exciting strip of pico (close to bloom and sky's, for those of you in the eating business). as far as i can tell they offer three services, thai massage ($40), swedish massage ($50) and combo ($45). this menu is displayed at the cashier booth (pay first - cash only) - fairly noticeable once your eyes adjust to the dark. one of the next things you may notice is a "non sexual" sign. duly noted. my experience, however, was to the contrary. *ahem* i'm not necessarily convinced that this is protocol but i definitely got some personal attention and (as dirty as i feel typing this) i kinda enjoyed it... i take some of the "blame." i had NO IDEA that i was supposed to keep my clothes on for a thai massage. i explicitly asked the guy who walked me to my curtained, spacious booth if i was supposed to derobe. he mumbled a yes, then disappeared. he appeared seconds later to ask if i wanted a towel. when he brought a bath sized towel i confirmed "so i'm supposed to get naked and lie under this towel, yes?" and he (clearly) said yes. a different guy came to give the massage and i soon realized i was probably supposed to keep clothes on, the way he pulled at my limbs and stretched me out. "kinda like yoga" he explained. about 40 minutes into the massage, when i was relaxed and far less self-conscious, he started to masage up the front of my legs and worked his way between my thighs. uh...huh? i panicked and had a quick mental debate, in the meantime guiltily enjoying the extra attention (hey, it's been a while, okay?); any good woman would have. it suffices to say i could've gotten more than just manual relaxation but my catholic upbringing got in the way. he continued with the rest of the massage and did a hot towel ditty at the end. i left with a personalized business card from my guy offering complimentary services. the surprising detour aside, the place is a solid 3.5. the price is reasonable, hours great (10a-10p, as dean w mentioned), service friendly, and massage well-executed. although i may never go back (to save face), my experience made it memorable and makes for good bar conversation. go get yours. read more

I was really disappointed by this place. Some suggestions to the Manager: 1. Get rid of the Muzak. It was worse than any elevator I have ever been in. Play some better, more current relaxation music. 2. Tell your staff and or clients not to use cell phones during their massage. In the stall next door to mine, no kidding, either the massage therapist or the patron had their cell phone on SPEAKER and was having a full on conversation. Suffice it to say, I was a bit perturbed. 3. Hire massage therapists who can speak a modicum of English. My guy, actually pretty good in his technique, couldn't understand a word I said. I couldn't communicate adjustments to pressure or the fact that the neighboring cubicle was ridiculously loud. 4. While we're at it, your therapists shouldn't eat a garlicky lunch minutes before their massage. Like Xanna, I had the same "ahem" experience, minus the Catholic guilt. Just back from my third massage at "Stars". I can't speak about the rest of the staff but I can tell you that Alex is great. His massage is one of the best I've ever had and that's saying something. He's young, his hands are strong, and his technique is relaxing and therapeutic. He could be charging double/triple at a boutique spa. I'm so glad I found him. BTW, at Stars they charge you an extra 5 bucks for a "VIP" room. I don't know about the VIP aspect but the rooms are quieter, therefore worth it. read more

I hadn't been here for about a year and a half, and couldn't remember why I stopped going. After 2 minutes of getting a massage, I remembered why I hadn't been back in so long. The massage is really hit or miss. Sometimes the massage is really great, and I feel very relaxed after it is over. Other times I left feeling I had just wasted my money and time. The quality of the massage not only varies from one time to the next, but even getting a massage from the same person isn't consistent. Don't be fooled by these slim boys, they have powerful hands and they know just how to adjust the pressure when they use them.
