And such good prices!! I literally could not recommend her more. Althea is phenomenal.

Let me first start by saying that Devon could sell snow to an Eskimo; he knows his stuff and Taylor is just extremely helpful and always goes the extra mile. I came in there one day before my trip to LA and they literally put me together. They gave me four different looks with shoes and jewelry. I told them what I was shopping for and they had maybe 12 different outfits for me to choose for from waiting in the dressing room. They made me feel like a celebrity LOL. I was so happy by the time I left and I just want to say thank you.

I walked into Akira as a first time customer in a bit of a panic after being told by my fiancé this morning that his huge holiday party at work is THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW. Ugh. Right upon walking in I was greeted by Shaina who asked me if I needed help finding anything.. And oh boy I needed help! She was sweet, attentive and overall wonderful. She brought me dress after dress and really listened to my feedback until we narrowed it down to 3 different dresses (all of which I ended up purchasing)- one of them was unavailable in this store in my size. Shaina quickly tracked down the last one in a size small for me in a store nearby and had them hold it for me. I was so happy bc I'm love with the dress! I ended up staying and shopping for over TWO HOURS haha and when Shaina had to leave to visit another store another amazing employee, Sparkle, took over for her and helped me find a bunch of other pieces that I really love! She listened to me explain my style and what I was looking for and brought me items that were exactly my style as well as some that were a little different and I'm so happy she did bc I got some beautiful items that I never would have tried on if she hadn't suggested them. Thank you, Sparkle! Then when I was checking out, Vanessa the cashier had the patience of a saint as I went through my 20+ items and she made sure that I got all of my discounts with their awesome buy one get one 50% off sale. I was all over the place and my dog kept jumping out of my bag but she (as well as all the other employees) were so sweet and accommodating. In closing, I just want to say that the fantastic employees at this store really made my shopping experience so much easier and ultimately successful bc they were so warm, welcoming and they are really just GREAT at their job. Thank you so much, guys! You'll be seeing me (& my puppy who absolutely loves all of you) again really soon! I highly recommend stopping by this store to shop for ANYTHING! It's the best!

They have some really good seasonal sales and promotions, so it's fairly affordable if you plan a little when to go. But after going to several professional outings, and never being able to find the right dress when the time is near, I've been led me to Express to peruse for the perfect ensemble while I have the time to look. I ended up buying 4 dresses and originally I was only going to buy 2, but one of the sales people told me to check online for a coupon and that I could use it on my purchase today. All the sales people were really helpful and professional, and thanks to Mr. Coupon I left very satisfied with 4 dresses instead of 2. Pretty much one can never go wrong with dresses and jeans from here. I've had tops in the past, and while most are pretty and well made, I'm not a fan of their regular tees, they fit really awkwardly. I will definitely be back, maybe even later today, because I do need a new pair of jeans too.

Today's review is based on my time in this store, it wasn't really packed but there wasn't really anyone available to get help from. And when I found someone to ask a question, she wasn't friendly at all. Perhaps it's a Friday night and work is the last place you want to be at. The least I think one can do is to put on a smile and try to attract customers. I don't even think a 75% off could draw me at this point into this location. I guess its either going to other locations or the online store for me now.

Located in kind of a…read morefancy shopping center in Brookfield, the Von Maur complex of shops is... a little pretentious for my taste. However, this was the closest location for LL Bean so I gave it a shot. This store is much larger than I expected, but the staff were very kind and helpful. I had never been to an LL Bean before so it was a tad overwhelming trying to find the exact pants I was searching for on my own. I was thankful for the help, and also for not judging me based on my size. As a bigger gal, these kind of outfitters are not always friendly to the plus sized crowd. However, the gentleman assured me that whatever wasn't available in my size or color preference in store could be ordered as long as it's in stock. The clothes are a little pricier than what I'm used to. I rarely buy clothes, but when I do it's on sale at a big box store so I know I'm not always getting quality stuff. I will say that everything I tried on actually fit well so shopping here wasn't the usual painful experience for me. I found the pants I was looking for, tried on a variety of others just to make sure I liked the ones I wanted, and was happy with my decision and overall experience. Honestly, I might go back to get a sweater that I fell in love with but don't really need. But it was sooooo soft and comfortable. I'm not what I would consider the typical customer for LL Bean, but I'm no longer counting it out as a place to find the right sporty gear that I know won't be available to me at REI and other outfitters.
