Stopped in yesterday while in town before heading to the airport. The shop is set up nicely, super organized, great pieces, with some fair prices. They have three rooms: a down stairs and two upstairs locations on opposite sides of the downstairs. I found a dress that was really great and I left it behind but am kicking myself for that. Plume vintage is the place to go to for woman's vintage clothing. My first time going I was extremely impressed. The selection is immaculate. They have 3 separate rooms. On the first floor is blouses, sweaters, and accessories. One room upstairs has skirts, pants and black dresses. The last room has jackets, lingerie, and evening apparel. I would categorize the vintage clothes as upscale vintage not really granola vintage. The decor throughout is gorgeous. It's very 80s class decor and they have lovely couches and rugs throughout. Also can't forget the service. The cashier was extremely helpful and even helped me choose between sunglasses. read more

Plume is a gem of a store that is tucked away on KK. It's a great spot to do some browsing while you wait to be seated at Axolotl or just do some shopping. They have a wonderfully curated selection of clothes and accessories. This is definitely one of the more quality thrift shops I have been to. The staff is super helpful and inviting. Make sure to ask how to get to the 2 upstairs rooms if they don't tell you when you walk in. read more

Whoever was working this morning (employee/owner. I am not sure) was insanely rude. My group and I saw the shop while waiting for a table at the nearby cafe. It looked cute from the outside so we walked in to pass time. Obviously my male siblings would not shop around since this store is not catered to them so they took a seat on the sofa. My cousins and I were looking through the clothes, as one does, when the lady came up and asked if we were waiting for a table at the cafe. I answered yes as I have no reason to lie. She then said "yeah well this is not a place to hang out" I was genuinely taken aback because as someone who works in retail I would NEVER go up to a group of potential customers and speak to them in this way. Her hostile demeanor was beyond disgusting. We felt uncomfortable and decided to leave and thought that was the end of it. To my surprise when we were on the way out she spoke again and said "your table must be ready" with a snarky attitude. Needless to say we will not be coming back or recommending this establishment to anyone. There was absolutely no need for the comments or attitude and it was definitely a power trip on her part. The store itself was cute but this experience left us with nothing but a bad taste in our mouths. read more

The store was beautiful, but the owner was superior and rather difficult to speak with. She seemed intolerant when I asked her simple, relevant questions about the authenticity of a Tiffany ring. As if offended, she stated it was authentic because she would know due to her number of years in the resale clothing business. This may be true, but as my first experience in the store, and with her, I wanted to feel more confident with the purchase. Instead she seemed irritated and indifferent toward my inquiry. My jaw dropped the minute I walked into the store and was greeted by the lovely Kiersten who told me about the concept of the store. I began to select my items I wished to try on while engaging in light conversation with her. I love when the shopping experience can be one that feels like you're a part of a community. The store is beautifully laid out with so many pieces. Each with their own story. Kiersten mentioned there was an upstairs to which I was on a time crunch but I had to take a peek. Up the stairs I went and low and behold, stepped into a beautiful room that felt like I walked into a cloud of pink feathery yumminess, and locked eyes on a jacket and felt an electric surge course my body. I slowly walked over and picked up the piece and knew it was mine. I completed a lap before going downstairs to see the beautiful lingerie pieces, jewelry, clothing and wanted so much more, but this jacket was going to need to be my only purchase. It was priceless to me. I had her to try it on and asked Kiersten if she'd like to watch. Of course she wanted to watch! And so I did and a match made in heaven was formed.
