I love Ursa and have been coming here for the last 5 or 6 years. I love their air plant selection, handmade local jewelry (Lisa Slodki based out of Chicago is my favorite!!!!), and their selection of unique and beautiful gifts. Speaking of Lisa Slodki, I love her designs so much that I've purchased multiple pairs of earrings for myself, four necklaces, and I bought a few necklaces for my girlfriends as birthday and Christmas gifts. I should have a punch card! They also have wonderful perfumes and oils- a few of my favorite scents include sandalwood, palo santo, coconut, and patchouli. Absolutely LOVE URSA! This is my favorite boutique in Milwaukee. Everything in the store is so aesthetically pleasing. They have a great jewelry and perfume collection, but their sunglasses are my absolute favorite. For a boutique with high quality and unique goods, I still find them to be reasonably priced. They also have a lot of fun events throughout the year so I recommend following their instagram to stay in the loop on anything they have coming up. They have an incredible hair clip collection as well. All the workers are super friendly without being overbearing and they are all so fashionable! read more

I went to URSA on small buisness Saturday and let me tell you people showed out even though the weather was getting bad. They were offering tote bags filled with coupons if you spent $50 so that's why there was a line because only $50 could get it. They store clerks did so well restocking and checking people out it was worth the wait. If you come on any other day than that you'll be able to really enjoy the store they have a nice variety of jewelry, candles and other odd any things. I got a fanny pack, neckacle and claw clip. They have a lot of fun claw clips. This store is cozy and a new little place to find different gifts. read more

I love URSA!! I've been shopping here since I moved to Milwaukee, and it has the most wonderful selection of beauty, home goods, fashion, and more. They carry lovely natural soaps, as well as Fishwife tinned fish and Graza olive oil--items that can be hard to find locally. The store has stunning windows that let in plenty of natural light, and they often host sidewalk sales or collaborations with other businesses. I believe it was even featured on Vogue's website! It's truly a neighborhood gem and definitely where the "it girls" shop. You have to check it out for unique finds, especially with the holiday season coming up! They also offer gift cards, which made the perfect engagement gift for my friend. I loooove URSA! There are so many great products by local artists and they are great quality and the prices for the most part are great! Of course a few pieces are expensive but it's all handmade and local. My FAVORITE part of URSA is their PLANTS!! You can see them online. Over lockdown I bought two and since then have added over 20 more to my home. Every plant I've gotten from URSA is super healthy and they've all lived for almost a full year with no problems. My favorite is my monstera that was the first plant I ever bought myself (from here) and it has gotten HUGE and will need to be repotted in Spring I think. read more

Wow. Just wow. We were visiting from Minneapolis and so thrilled to find this gem. Their items were perfectly curated. It was a space that I wish I could replicate at home! What's also attractive is that their prices are approachable. I wouldn't say inexpensive but also not outrageous. Their macrame hangers, plants, incense options, plus home goods and natural beauty were a plenty. Also, a big kudos to the young woman working Saturday afternoon. She went the extra mile in more than one way. First, there was a six foot macrame hanger I wanted to purchase but didn't want to purchase it with the attached plant (worried about the drive home). She offered to order and ship one home - which I'm going to order when I get back home and measure! Second, she took the time to ask us where we were from, what we had planned and then was kind enough to write her recommendations down for us. We went to every one and had a great time. Ursa is such a wonderful addition to Bay View! They have unique, handmade items and often highlight local artisans and products which is awesome! The staff is so welcoming every time I go in and have even invited me to bring my dog in sometime (they are dog-friendly!) so that's a winning store in my book! Visiting from out of town and needed a place to get christmas presents, i came across this shop. I really wanted to like this place when i first walked in, but the woman working behind the counter made the experience insufferable. She looked me up and down when i first walked in which was super rude. She then walked closely behind me the rest of the time like she was monitering my behavior. I felt super uncomfortable and honestly felt freaked out. Just as i realized how overpriced everything was, i notices the woman working was whispering to a man while looking at me. Sorry but I gotta disagree with the poor review. Maybe the owner was having an off day? I've been in a couple times and have had nothing but good experiences. Quirky mix but great. Good prices. The pottery is a little too expensive, I'm a little biased as I have done ceramics. Great jewelry. We found some incense that we haven't seen since our trip to Santa Fe.
