Cute neighborhood store will all sorts of home goods to check out. Specifically, I was thrilled to see some great air plants in here. After another store closed, I was wondering where I might be able to find more. URSA will be this store. Cool tip. They reciprocate with Honeypie across the street. By something at one and you get $1 off at the other. As if I needed another reason to stop for pie. read more

I love Ursa and have been coming here for the last 5 or 6 years. I love their air plant selection, handmade local jewelry (Lisa Slodki based out of Chicago is my favorite!!!!), and their selection of unique and beautiful gifts. Speaking of Lisa Slodki, I love her designs so much that I've purchased multiple pairs of earrings for myself, four necklaces, and I bought a few necklaces for my girlfriends as birthday and Christmas gifts. I should have a punch card! They also have wonderful perfumes and oils- a few of my favorite scents include sandalwood, palo santo, coconut, and patchouli. This shop is wonderful if you'd like to get a little something for yourself or a unique gift for someone else. read more

What a fab store! Well worth the trip to Bayview from the 'burbs in search of the perfect gift or just to shop their lovely selection of goods. And the plants! So healthy and beautiful! The staff are always super helpful and friendly, too. read more

I went to URSA on small buisness Saturday and let me tell you people showed out even though the weather was getting bad. They were offering tote bags filled with coupons if you spent $50 so that's why there was a line because only $50 could get it. They store clerks did so well restocking and checking people out it was worth the wait. If you come on any other day than that you'll be able to really enjoy the store they have a nice variety of jewelry, candles and other odd any things. I got a fanny pack, neckacle and claw clip. They have a lot of fun claw clips. This store is cozy and a new little place to find different gifts. read more

Absolutely LOVE URSA! This is my favorite boutique in Milwaukee. Everything in the store is so aesthetically pleasing. They have a great jewelry and perfume collection, but their sunglasses are my absolute favorite. For a boutique with high quality and unique goods, I still find them to be reasonably priced. They also have a lot of fun events throughout the year so I recommend following their instagram to stay in the loop on anything they have coming up. They have an incredible hair clip collection as well. All the workers are super friendly without being overbearing and they are all so fashionable! read more

I love URSA!! I've been shopping here since I moved to Milwaukee, and it has the most wonderful selection of beauty, home goods, fashion, and more. They carry lovely natural soaps, as well as Fishwife tinned fish and Graza olive oil--items that can be hard to find locally. The store has stunning windows that let in plenty of natural light, and they often host sidewalk sales or collaborations with other businesses. I believe it was even featured on Vogue's website! It's truly a neighborhood gem and definitely where the "it girls" shop. You have to check it out for unique finds, especially with the holiday season coming up! They also offer gift cards, which made the perfect engagement gift for my friend. The staff is incredibly helpful and even took down my number to let me know when something I was looking for comes in. read more

Hard not to love Ursa. This is the best boutique shop in Bay View and possibly the Milwaukee area. Filled with all kind of unique crafts and one of a kind items it's hard not to say you couldn't find anything you wanted in this shop. Best part is all the goods in the shop are sourced from makers and craftsperson's around Wisconsin. So shop at Ursa, support small business and support local artisans! Doesn't get much better than that! read more

Love love this unique shop. I'm from CA and every year I visit Ursa because it's become a must do on my list. My husband now knows to drop me off for an hour so I can explore all the unique things offered. I love the focus on independent artists and local talent. Some of my best jewelry pieces are from here. Emily the owner is wonderful and has created such an incredible space. Thank you Emily and I'll see you next year! read more

Nice shop of curated home and beauty goods sourced from makers in the Midwest and beyond. Beautiful plants, jewelry, macrame, candles, soaps, insense. It's definitely worth visiting if you're in the area, and worth a trip if you're not. read more

I ordered from Ursa for the first time during the pandemic and selected local delivery. Even though I ordered during a very busy holiday time, I received my order so quickly! They also notified me when it arrived so I could retrieve it quickly from the front porch. The items I ordered were high quality and as lovely as expected based on the online description! If you're looking to get local gifts (which you definitely should!) ursa is a great and easy way to shop! read more

I loooove URSA! There are so many great products by local artists and they are great quality and the prices for the most part are great! Of course a few pieces are expensive but it's all handmade and local. My FAVORITE part of URSA is their PLANTS!! You can see them online. Over lockdown I bought two and since then have added over 20 more to my home. Every plant I've gotten from URSA is super healthy and they've all lived for almost a full year with no problems. My favorite is my monstera that was the first plant I ever bought myself (from here) and it has gotten HUGE and will need to be repotted in Spring I think. read more

Wow. Just wow. We were visiting from Minneapolis and so thrilled to find this gem. Their items were perfectly curated. It was a space that I wish I could replicate at home! What's also attractive is that their prices are approachable. I wouldn't say inexpensive but also not outrageous. Their macrame hangers, plants, incense options, plus home goods and natural beauty were a plenty. Also, a big kudos to the young woman working Saturday afternoon. She went the extra mile in more than one way. First, there was a six foot macrame hanger I wanted to purchase but didn't want to purchase it with the attached plant (worried about the drive home). She offered to order and ship one home - which I'm going to order when I get back home and measure! Second, she took the time to ask us where we were from, what we had planned and then was kind enough to write her recommendations down for us. We went to every one and had a great time. So impressed by this place. read more

Such a cute store with a lot of niche finds that are usually only available online. Lots of local artists collaborations!

My favorite boutique in Milwaukee (and possibly in general!). Their plants are reasonably priced, the staff is always super nice and helpful, and they have the cutest goods from local makers! You need to make this a stop if you're in the Milwaukee area. read more

Love love love this shop in Bay View! The items are beautifully curated, and the shop itself is serene. I recently bought an olive wood serving board along with some serving utensils as a birthday gift. My friend loved them! The shop associates were also super nice and offered to oil the board before I left. Ursa is my go-to spot for any gifts for friends, or for myself! read more

Ursa is such a wonderful addition to Bay View! They have unique, handmade items and often highlight local artisans and products which is awesome! The staff is so welcoming every time I go in and have even invited me to bring my dog in sometime (they are dog-friendly!) so that's a winning store in my book! I love coming here for palo santo, facial care products and jewelry. The space is bright and sunny and beautifully decorated. They also feature home goods, clothing and plants that are all really gorgeous. read more

A dog friendly gift shop?! Browse beautiful home decor while your furry friends parooze. My favorites are the blankets, rings, and airplants. Necklaces, bathsalts, blankets, baskets, and vases can also be found here. Prices are $$ to $$$. This shop is similar to The Waxwing on North. read more

I adore this store and the wonderful ladies who work in it. Always leave feeling empowered and inspired to try new products. Thank you for all the wonderful "things" Ursa read more

Visiting from out of town and needed a place to get christmas presents, i came across this shop. I really wanted to like this place when i first walked in, but the woman working behind the counter made the experience insufferable. She looked me up and down when i first walked in which was super rude. She then walked closely behind me the rest of the time like she was monitering my behavior. I felt super uncomfortable and honestly felt freaked out. Just as i realized how overpriced everything was, i notices the woman working was whispering to a man while looking at me. I felt so unwelcome in this store and i would not advise anyone to set foot here. read more

I probably stop by bi-weekly - even if it's just to buy an air plant. Check them out on Instagram, as the owner is always posting the items she carries - ceramics, clothes, candles, potted plants, plant hangers, soap, etc. I recently bought the cutest, pin-striped jumper for a wedding shower - so chic & unique. Also, highly recommend to visit on Bay View gallery night. Their free beer & drinks are so fun. Keep doing you, Ursa - we love your vibes! read more

Sorry but I gotta disagree with the poor review. Maybe the owner was having an off day? I've been in a couple times and have had nothing but good experiences. Quirky mix but great. Good prices. The pottery is a little too expensive, I'm a little biased as I have done ceramics. Great jewelry. We found some incense that we haven't seen since our trip to Santa Fe. Check it out as a better alternative to Waxwing and Sparrow Collective. read more

Cute store, with so many great things to make our home cozy and loved! Emily's self care products are amazing and so is the way she curates the store! We got a cactus in a wood and cement vase and love it! Would recommend this shop to anyone! read more

I will definitely be back to URSA again! I found the store via Instagram and checked it out while in the neighborhood, and the variety is impressive! Jewelry, pottery, bath/beauty products, incenses, candles, clothing - all have a unique, artist quality for not insane prices. The owner was friendly and helpful each time I've been back to buy gifts for friends and family. I'll definitely be back to check out the new creations as they arrive! read more

This is the best place to get gifts for anyone if you're looking to shop in Milwaukee, hands down. They have a beautifully curated variety for everyone on your list and its a totally covid safe, serene shopping experience from the second you walk in the door. The owners and the people who work there are the nicest & most helpful people you'll ever meet. It's light filled and beautiful and very reasonably priced. And they offer curbside, delivery and online shopping too. Highly recommend. read more

Really lovely shop and a nice addition to Bay View. The city needs more stores like this that really curate the items they sell and offer something special. I could easily spend way too much money here. Definitely plan to stop in here every time I'm in the neighborhood to see what's new. read more
