You don't always see that when you go to a nursery/ greenhouse so I was very impressed with the care and selection I was seeing at Mileger's. The staff was very friendly and helpful when we asked for help about the specific trellis we were on the hunt for but also just passing employees who were friendly/ chatty with us. If you have a weakness for plants or fun garden/ home decor, I'd advise you to plan accordingly and carve out a good part of your day to putz around the grounds & store because there's SO much to see here! I used their interactive phone service but was put on hold and finally just hung up. I know from shopping at Milaegers for year that they can really get busy and sometimes it takes a while to have your call answered. No big deal and I was able to find what I was looking for elsewhere. Today, 10/30/25, I received a call from one of the managers at Milaegers stating that she had noticed that I had called their store and that my call had gone unanswered. She asked what I was looking for and did I still need to find what I needed. I explained that I had found what I wanted and thanked her for her call. She did not need to call me, but she though enough about their customers that she took the time to follow up on and unanswered call. This is what I call real service and is just another reason I enjoy shopping at Milaegers.

Nice little trinkets and what not and mostly seemed like a museum because of how it was priced. Holy smokes is the dollar sign high here. I finally found something within my price range, a beautiful corningware casserole dish. Just what I need! There wasn't a price listed so I kindly asked the lady how much. She proceeded to tell me $10 and she would bring in the missing lid with many other pieces she had at home the next day. I paid her money with a promise that I would get my lid and get to shop her new items. I called the next day before I wasted any time and she began to tell me that there was no lid and she only had a teapot. I wasn't interested in the teapot as I stated to her the day prior. I was a little disappointed since she didn't offer to pay me any money back if I stopped back in so I politely declined and chose to never shop there again. My mistake for paying before I got what I wanted. At least I can cover the dish with foil.

Since the case cracked it was considered an accident so it was covered by goof proof. BUT after 22 emails and 8 pictures, I video call, I was told their service department needed to order a part. Someone suggested I look on EBay or Amazon and BINGO, I got the part in one day for $79 From Amazon. I wrote one last email to Guardian, and I told them to cancel their so called search and this should not go towards the one repair per item rule, since I did the work. I do not recommend Bobs because they were not any help to me, the customer, and please stay away from their "goof proof" guarantee. Buying a chair should not be that much work.
