3/7/2026: Shout out to Maggie for helping me get my new bras adjusted correctly. I came in ready to exchange my new bras because I was sure the sizing was wrong, but nope...I had misadjsuted the straps and the clasp, which I had been doing for decades and had always been dissatisfied with my bras. She explained why my bras hadn't fit correctly (tightening the straps so that they dug into my skin and constantly pulled up the bra causing underboob to fall through the underwire. With this knowledge and bras that she adjusted for ready to wear (haha), my spirits and bustling are uplifted. Thank you, Maggie! read more

It was time to get some more support for myself. A friend recommended this spot for excellent quality bras. I am a reformed Victoria Secret patron and was ready for a change. Upon entering I was immediatley greeted by a sales person wearing a mask. I of course was wearing a mask too, of course, which didn't stop the associate from being extremely helpful and friendly. They offer fittings, which as a woman is very important, and from there suggest styles. What impressed me so much also was the policy they have with their bras, you can wear it a month and if you don't like the fit for some reason are able to bring it back! Victoria's Secret, you purchase and you cannot bring back after 30 days. They also have a rewards policy for purchasing a certain amount of bras. The bras are so comfortable! The straps don't pinch and I feel super supported, as a good bra should be! The prices are moderate and definitely I have found my go to spot for new undergarments. Lexi was super helpful. Greeted mii and helped mii to a fitting room quickly. Got the correct size on the 2nd try. I was exchanging 3 bras I bought online in a size too small. They actually had 3 in the size I needed. Most stores don't carry a 36DD. I was out in less than 15 minutes. Even though the two staff were juggling helping others customers. And I love the bras. So comfortable. From my previous experiences with Soma products.... I know they'll last a long time. Plus, they were On Sale. Couldn't have had a better experience. First time into SOMA Intimates and I had a very memorable visit. First, I was greeted warmly by Tamara and Lisa and was told a little about SOMA. I had never thought about entering this store before since like most I just go to VS at any mall or shop online at Nordstrom or barenecessities.com. After today I look forward to visiting this store even though I honestly try to stay away from Del Monte since I used to be a shopaholic and have no patience with crowds whatsoever... so no Holiday shopping for me. They offer a bra fitting service which is nice since studies show that most women wear the wrong bra size and don't know their true size. I'm definitely one of them since I range from B to D which is just stupid since before I gained some weight I could have been an A but to me they are just letters. I get what fits, is "sexy" haha and comfortable. This place definitely carried soft pretty lingerie but nothing trashy or anything too ostentatious... comfortable looking material is used to make flattering pieces for a woman's body. Perfect, solid concept and the sizes run big (a first) so much that I think it could be a marketing scheme... a smart one that is. I picked up a sporty jacket (athletic looking) and a pretty vibrant yellow and floral wrap so they do offer everyday wear on top of lingerie and beauty products. I turned 30 this year, and I finally decided that it was important to pay attention to my undergarments. I usually buy stuff at Victoria's Secret, but I got tired of how their bras fit and how quickly they fall apart. My mother-in-love purchased me an AWESOME sweatshirt (loungewear) for Christmas, and I've been living in that thing! I wear it at home, to the gym, for walks--everywhere. My husband got tired of me complaining about my bras, so while we were at the Del Monte shopping center, he encouraged me to go to Soma. I walked in 30 minutes before closing and I was the only person in the store. I was quickly greeted and acknowledged by an employee named Charlie. Charlie helped me, and she gets 10 stars! She was helpful and not overbearing. She measured me, brought me three bras, they didn't fit, she brought three more, and I found the size and style I liked. I was torn between getting a mocha colored bra and a peach colored bra; she explained her preference (her peach bra got dingy quickly), and I ended up choosing the mocha color. While at the counter my husband smelled some perfume and he whispered, "THIS SMELLS GOOD!" She mentioned it was a popular seller which is why it was almost out. Since my husband loved the scent, I ended up getting the perfume, too. I spent a little over $130 on three bras and perfume, and I was totally satisfied with how nice Charlie was and I am loving my new bras! read more

I had the most wonderful experience today! I stopped by yesterday 3/20 and accidentally bought the wrong size bras. Came in today 3/21 for an exchange and Amber made sure I was measured correctly, and left with the perfect size! She was BEYOND helpful and so sweet!! She showed me so many cute styles! I went to Soma's last year while I was pregnant and the staff was extremely helpful. Now that I had my baby I needed new bras again so I wanted to go back. Well I went today and was completely ignored by 3 staff members. 2 were on the register I figured hey maybe they are training someone to they system is down no big deal. Then went to the fitting room where one of the staff members was helping someone. She walked by me to grab something for a woman in the fitting room still didn't acknowledge me. She walked by me one more time to go back to the fitting room, still nothing. She finished the one women in the fitting room and still ignored me. I left and spent over $200 in Victoria secret where I was greeted and helped right away. read more

All I have to say is WOW. I am so happy with my first visit to Soma Intimates!! I walked in and the lady (forgot her name ) welcomed me and my boyfriend into the store. I asked if I could be sized and she was more than happy to measure me. She offered my boyfriend a nice cushion seat so he didn't have to stand and wait. She picked a new bra size for me and had another employee (ANA) pick out 6 different kind of bras for me to try on to see which one I liked. Ended up buying 3 bras that Ana recommended! I will never enter this store again. The staff is rude, snobby, unhelpful and clearly miserable. I received terrible customer service. I have purchased 4 of the Rachel Lace Bra and all four of the bras have broken. The metal piece that holds the bra to the strap has broken on all of my bras. When I talked to a staff member there today, I told her my bras had broke and her reply was "Are your boobs really that heavy?" Soooo rude and inappropriate. I would never recommend this store. If you are at Del Monte GO TO MACYS AND ASK FOR LINDA. Never will shop at this store again in my life! read more

I have always despised the big VS. I don't get why people think they are so amazing. The one time I went to be fitted there it was an awful experience. They just whipped out a tape measure there on the crowded sales floor and pronounced a size, shoved a handful of bras at me and shoved me toward the dressing rooms. NOT so at Soma!! The first time I went in there, after a friend recommended them, I was greeted immediately and warmly. I should mention that I am not your typical "normal" looking woman. I have a lot of tattoos and I have scars, and at that time I still had some body piercings. The gal helping me first asked me some questions about what I wanted in a bra, style, support, etc. then took me back into a dressing room and had me take off my top and measured me correctly. Then she went and picked a bunch of different styles for me to try on. Now THAT is a proper fitting. Once I had found a few that I liked and fit great, I bought them and was very happy. Fast forward about 8 years. I went in there last week to pick up a bra I had seen on sale on the web site but was sold out in my size. Staff were super friendly and again, great experience. I love visiting this Soma store. The girls here are always super sweet knowledgeable, and helpful. I am always surprised at how they know so much about each individual item. How it washes, fits, and wears. Amazing!! They are very patient and make you feel like a guest. I stopped in one evening after a long day at the beach. I spent $295.80 there last weekend, came home and took the tags off and washed everything. When I tried on the underwear I bought I had realized I purchased the wrong size and cut. Not thinking it was a big deal I went back there today to exchange for the correct size and cut where they informed me that they wouldn't help me since I washed and took the tags off. Really Soma??? I will give less stars for service and attitude but as far as product and selection I was super impressed. I was given a gift certificate for Chico's. Since the clothing there isn't really my style, I remembered that SOMA is part of the same group and I was able to use my gift card at SOMA. I have never been impressed by the selection or the quality of undergarments at Victoria's Secret. The colors and style leave me cold. They scream "cheap" and "trashy" and are perhaps meant for women in a different line of work than I. Say something involving a pole and a tassles. SOMA had a quality selection of undergarments in tasteful colors. Whatever lacy items they had were also neutral and did not look cheap. I like streamlined items and SOMA provided. The ladies here were a little cold and a little off. They did try though. I had to warm them up and that doesn't really work for me. I like to be greeted and treated warmly and sincerely, very important. SOMA also has an excellent (and classic) selection of sleepwear and loungewear. Very nice. read more

I was about to bawl after a horrible mall experience. Victoria secrets was a bust. Even though the store was empty no one came to help me and I would have appreciated that. I have always bought Victoria's Secret bras. I like the way they fit at first but after only a few months my old steady bra was well worn out. My mission today was a makeover for my undergarments. Macy's was also disappointing. Before I left the mall In A rage there was soma. I walked in and the two girls were so nice. Amber measured me and explained to me how their sizing is a little different. I told her what I was looking for and she gave me several options that made me feel supported comfortable and sexy which was just what I was going for. If I had more money I would have bought more of the bras she suggested. I loved the fit. I'm not huge but no padding needed. I can't wait to wear my new stuff tomorrow!!! Thanks amber!!! I tried this place instead of Victoria's Secret. There was one person in the store and 2 employees. I couldn't find my size and although the employees were just wandering around the store, no one came up to help me. When I asked for my size the saleswoman just tossed me the bra without asking if I needed anything else or any help. Of course the fit was horrible so I walked out of the fitting room. I have had the worst experience with Soma! I had a gift card that I brought into the Monterey store and and the sales clerk scratched off the authorization code with scissors instead of a coin and therefore was not able to read the numbers to activate the card. They said they would send a new card in the mail, but 5 months, about 10 phone calls, and 5 requests for a new card later and I still haven't received my card. This is the worst customer services I have ever had! That is my money that they have been holding onto and because they are such a huge company nobody has the power to do anything to help me! If I don't receive my card this time I'm going to have to file a complaint with the BBB. I'm so fed up with big businesses! read more
